+Miriam G. I do gymnastics and i think the reasons why guys teach sports like gymnastics is because they are stronger for spotting and sometimes when you have girl coaches at my age some girls get attitudes lol im guilty of it myself
There are plenty of female coaches who are great trainers. My gymnastics coach is a woman and she has helped me so much, she motivates me to do my best and she's more than just strong. I understand how men are physically stronger therefore great spotters,etc but I feel like women are more motivated and active when it comes to this kind of stuff. Usually whenever I see a man teaching a girls sport I cringe because it doesn't look right to me. There also has been plenty of girls who have won all around championships who were trained by women for example Simone Biles won all around in 2013.
i accually totaly agree with you, but like in my case for gym coach is pretty rude but we do have one that is soooo motivating and encouraging but im not on that level yet, and maby its different for me because at first when i worked with a guy coach it made me cringe a little to then i got used to it and like how they spotted, but its all just personal preference
Sounds pretty sexist to me, almost misandrist. What about that there "equality"? All my coaches were female and it didn't bother me in the slightest. Seems like you have prejudice issues.
