It gives me scooby doo vibes where the villains always say in the end “And I would’ve gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for you meddling teenagers!”
Yeah I was confused about that. Had she helped get the spear away from Ken they could’ve killed him b4 Cleo arrived. Then she stood there when her threw the spear at her too. They just wanted Cleo to have a girl boss moment tbh.
She was strategic tactic thinking in that exact moment just liked her Dad Klaus used to do awhile others were fighting. Good strategy since she had figured out how to kill him afterwards awhile he was busy with the others. 😂
I mean she was waiting for the right moment, they were a distraction, but if Cleo hadn't stepped in, I mean.. come on. Hope could have dodged that, that was some shitty ass writing though. Like, oh they got lucky Cleo arrived when she did? Pretty lame.
Yeah I was bummed that the writer just made Hope just stand still so much and not do much it was like they wanted to weaken her by telling her just stand still and not do anything. I missed the hero/ strong / powerful action pack Hope from the past - I think they trying to show that all the students are important in saving the day but I kind of missed the old Hope they made her just stand there and be weak - i missed hope being the hero, strong ...my fave time of Hope was in the beginning of Legacies and time she was on Legacies thou
@@JonGSalvatore Brother Legacies is a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries & The Originals. It’s not called hate it called disappointment. Also I see you replying to tons of “haters” so you’re unbusy too lol.
I might be wrong, but I think after season 1 she was barely involved. Bc she was working on another big project or something like that. So it’s not really her fault. Also what do you mean too? The Originals is really good imo. Unless you’re referring to The Vampire Diaries.
Even the Originals get weird and lame, you can tell they ran out of ideas about halfway through. Just like VD and Legacies was weird from get go@@ventustbb3229
@@ventustbb3229no she was involved till around season 3's ending, but didn't really help they weren't willing to branch of from the malivore/school focus.
@@merlokden5844 Honestly if they moved on from Malivore, Landon & The Necromancer way earlier it might’ve been good. Not sure why they kept the same villains around for so many seasons. None of the other series did that. Unless you want to count the Mikaelson’s in The Vampire Diaries. I don’t though. Bc there were other villains. Not just a new monster each week. This isn’t Power Rangers. It had a different vibe than the other 2 shows. It only started getting that vibe when Hope turned off her humanity. It was already too late though.
@@ventustbb3229 i agree. The whole new monster every week was so dumb. The had: Aurora/Loose Originals storylines, the merge, twin heretics/drama from that, hosie, stephanie salvatore, tribrid, no humanity arc. They wasted so much potential on Landon, Malivore, and The Necromancer, they dragged it on for four seasons instead of building up to something big like the other shows did. I guarantee if they explored the merge with Kai Parker during season 2 and lead to tribrid/no humanity hope, we'd be on season 6 right now.
This could have been awesome but was a bit of a let down, oh well, Hope still lived up to her father’s name and she will always be the main reason I watched this bloody show.
It always irritates me that they didn’t know what they were doing when they made the show. Since when does the series need the same villain for multiple seasons (Malivore & The Necromancer)? Plus Landon was super weak & boring, but they continued to keep him around. Even after he died they still showed him in the afterlife. The Necromancer too (whose super cringe) smh. The last season was the best imo. Bc the story got more serious & we finally got a fully activated Tribrid.
they also didn't know what to do with Hope or Josie most of the time either, and yeah Landon has the Alaric and Matt problem being that he wasn't really an important character but stayed on anyway.@@ventustbb3229
@@sydryi3086 I agree. That’s true except they were more entertaining & actually did more stuff. Landon was just there. Also I wouldn’t say he wasn’t really an important character since they kept Malivore around for the longest time. He was only Malivores son/vessel & Hopes love interest. Why couldn’t they make Ethan her actual love interest or his sister Maya. Why’d they want her to be with Landon so bad smh.
this was so bad man, they got vampires and werewolf’s casually running like a human to grab his spear. no dark or gore like the previous titles. mythic creatures that should of have been noted since vp. what is this dude…
I bet it would’ve gotten renewed tbh. However new people were in charge & cancelled almost every show on the channel. The show could’ve been good if they got different writers & moved on from the Malivore storyline faster. None of the other shows kept a villain around for multiple seasons (The Mikaelson’s don’t count btw lol).
I've only watched the originals from start to finish so I could be wrong but to me the vampire diaries was for teenage girls, the originals for an adult audience and legacies for borderline kids / pre-teens.
Vampire diaries is targetted it at people who like horror doesnt matter whatngender you are your gunna get the love shit thrown in your face no matter what 😂😂
I kinda expected and low key wish the consequence for killing him was that all magic disappeared, since it came from the gods in the first place. I guess that would have been a bit of a rip off of the magicians though.
@@ventustbb3229 I guess. In the Magicians they only killed one god and the remaining gods took away magic as a consequence. But again it would have been viewed as a rip off so it makes sense they didn't do it.
@@stephwiller9089 Yes that’s the way I saw it. The gods in Legacies didn’t care about Ken dying. Bc they didn’t like him lmao. Plus they were weaker. Who knows if they actually had the power to take the magic away anyways.
Girl I know that she could of used her strength instead of just standing there waiting for a spear to fly at her waiting for Cleo to save her like she has vamp speed
@@maximoff4485 I agree, but I think the writers wanted to give others the spotlight. Since she had it the majority of the time. I mean she carried the series tbh. The others were okay, but I think most people only watched it bc of Hope. Considering The Originals is their best in the VDU (imo anyways). Bc Hope is a Tribrid Mikealson.
@@Undercapsule Nothing about that was iconic lmao. It could’ve been, but I feel like they didn’t know what to do exactly. Should’ve been something similar to Hope when she had her humanity off. Instead they just had her act goofy. While wearing darker clothes lol
@@ajclannachanyeah even elijah cussed out the writers at the comic con panel and called them stupid, he should have been in legacies watching over hope telling her about her father , he even said stupidest death ever ,, what the fuck were they thinking 😂 he was big mad and knew it was a badly written decision
@@andrew-rn9ui I don't know Elijah dying with Klaus kind of made sense. He felt bad for not standing up to their father when Klaus was tormented by him when they were mortal still. He never got over that and saw dying with Klaus as his way to finally make up for it, not letting Klaus face death alone.
When she says “ get the spear” and none of them super sped toward it was annoying. And hope could have super sped away from the spear.. a lot of missed power opportunities
@@naru5885 magic is energy…. It’s exactly the same thing. Not to mention she literally siphons the god and weakens him for a moment.. meaning she is siphoning his magical energy….
@@naru5885 siphoners can absorb all magical energies… key word energy.. which is why they specifically say in some episodes they need a vampire to siphon from because they energy of a vampire is strong.. when they siphon a witch the witches energy is drained…. Are you sure you know what energy is and how it works?
The show has pretty terrible writing. The Originals was the best and last you were going to get from this universe. All i'm going to say is there was a reason this show was canceled.
@@danieldaniel527 Klaus death made sense though, he gained his redemption for all the evil he did in the act of willingly sacrificing himself to keep her safe. He'd lived thousands of years for himself but in that one moment he showed he was finally willing to put his family first. Elijah kind of made sense too, he lived his long life with the guilt of never stopping his father from tormenting and beating Klaus, his not letting Klaus face death alone was him trying to make up for failing him as a older brother who should of protected him.
Legacies is total rubbish it's last two seasons are a disgrace to tvd and the originals reputation imagine the God been killed by a bunch of teenagers that are even students lord Jesus this series is mere bullshit
The girl that grabbed the god's arm said "grab the spear" and the afro boy who is a vampire could've used his super fast ability to get the spear in time ran like a regular human 😂😭
What the hell i'm i looking at...They did us dirty with this show . They had all the tools to make a great story about the Legendary Tribrid , quite a waste in my opinion .
Idk how they made vampire diaries so dope then originals even better but drop the ball wih this show its so cringe and corny teen wolf was better than this show 😂
Gotta love that the least impressive villains in the tvp universe were the devil and the king of gods.I feel like someone like dahlia or the hollow would have given better fight here.
For a seriee finale and a battle against a god, i expected an epic fight scene. One thing i noticed about shows that get canceled is, everything from production, writing and to the cast becomes lazy asf
Why is this titled god gets killed by tribred Hope when it should be Cleo the fury kills a God being that it was her judgment as a fury that killed him?
You mean he was killed by plot? If it wasn’t a show about Hope Ken would beat the living shit out her like her did the first time but this time would’ve killed her like honestly her winning did not make sense at all imo
Could someone tell me what order to watch these series in; The Vampire Dairies, the originals, and legacies? I'm so confused on the order you're supposed to watch them in?
You don't. This show was so bad, it got the entire tvd universe canceled. This is the end of it all. There are no more seasons. Showrunner and writers dropped the ball hard
This is so ridiculous, the god Ken is ridiculous but what's even more ridiculous is that Hope could kill him I mean it's absurd really, he's a GOD and she's just a tribrid yeah.
At least for what we have been shown they could be based off Roman/Greek as they have very similar (if not identical) Gods. I remember Lizzie called Jen (the goddess that makes weapons) Vulcan, which is the Roman name of Hephaestus (Greek), so that could give us a little more details.
@@UniversalMushroom Not necessarily Russia, but I do believe the writers of Legacies based off many gods to create the ones we see on the show, mostly because of the facts. Lizzie calls Jen "Vulcan", the Roman god of fire, deserts, metalworking and forge, yet the ferryman that resides in Limbo refers to her home, peace, as Valhalla, meaning norse beliefs. So, noticing that alone, already tells us that we can't point an especific mythology. Yes, it is possible that russia is involved but is not the only one, as history says Kievan Rus' and Vikings had a strong alliance, yet norse beliefs also indicate that Denmark, Switzerland, Norway and more countries, are also involved.
@@yesmydarling4511 Yes, in Russia there was Slavic mythology, but there also was a strong presence of Norse mythology, at least one of them is related to the show because the ferryman or rather, ferrywoman, mentions Valhalla (I don't know if Slavic mythology uses the same word or shares this belief). This could indicate that old population living in Russia a long time ago could have worshiped this Gods if they were more involved with Norse mythology. This in no mean is erasing the existence of Slavic mythology, both coexisted at some point (or even now, I don't know), so yes, Russia could have been involved at a specific time period, but is not the only one as Roman mythology was deeply used for the creation of the Gods in the show.
@@JonGSalvatore He died a hero though. So how is that related to him winning as a villain? Especially since he sacrificed himself. No one killed him. So I’m not sure how that’s actually a defeat. It’s only a loss if someone else killed him.
I’ve never seen such terrible writing, where do you go from fighting vampires, wolves and witches to fighting a straight up god. Idk they doing too much
