Watching tvd at first you think that damon and stefan are crazy strong because theyre a century and a half old but as you get into it more you realize how outmatched they are by many other vampires in this universe, damon is my favorite character and although I hate to see him get his ass whooped it at least happens for good reasons

They knew that they could die. But still took on any challenger. And even more importantly they made mistakes.

Damon made it so far because of plot armor because he was cocky, aggressive and too impulsive, especially against every member of the Original family who killed witches/vampires/werewolves for less than what he did. Damon would not survive in any show if he was just a forgettable character.
To me, Elijah is the strongest. Like obviously Lucien or Marcel and even Klaus are stronger than him physically due to the beast serum or hybrid status but in a war/battle Elijah is more dangerous due to his mind. He is a very smart strategist and calculates all possibilities before making a move. Also he doesn't make stupid moves driven by anger. He has the brains to analyse his opponent, the restraint to hold back when needed and the experience to attack when the best opportunity arrives. So in the long run, i'd choose him over other physically stronger ones on the list
Elijah is all of the things you said above but is crippled by his obssession to save klaus Its so serious that he literally has no other life He has no other agenda Not a good trait in a survivor/ fighter So while I agree with what you said, I can't completely support that choice

Yes and no. There is a rule in the vampire's universe: older vampires are strongers than young ones. Hope as a full tribrid would be the strongest, as just vampire (like in the video) she is really young which means weak. She wouldn't even stand a chance against Marcel (without Beast serum), cause he is a 200yo vampire trained by the Originals, which have more than a thousand years of experience

Alaric isn't technicallly the strongest (Lucien is) however he is the best vampire. He was truly unkillable and couldn't be harmed by white oak. And the bite wouldn't be able to kill because of that. And since white oak wasn't used to create him, that means vervain wouldn't protect you against his compulsion.
if your looking at unkillable that would be hope due to the fact that she wasnt created she was born she is a pure immortal being since all red oak other then the one the gods may have is gone and unlike Alaric who could be turned back with magic she cant be other then possibly the cure but that would just take away her original vampire side ( if she has one ) and in general the cure could do anything to any vampire so if your going off of who would not die it would be hope more then alaric especially with her other addons especially the extra strength she may have from her hybrid side

Think the list would have to be pushed to maybe 15 though to make space. What i learn through this shows is that.. age is just A number since alot if things can influence the powerups, like for example HOPE she is barely decades old but still powerful that she made into this list... Just like Klaus was stronger than his siblings because he was a hybrid hope is stronger than all of them because of her tribrid nature. But hope is less than two decades old. At best, her strength and speed is relative tp Klaus when he first became a vampire and killing someone for the first time. Stronger than a lot of vampires but not close to those who have lived for 1000 years in my opinion. The witch powers though always gives her a certain edge.

I don't think that Rebekah is stronger than Kol. Finn maybe, because of 900 years of sleep (he has less experience and out of pratice). Plus Tribrid Hope should be higher. In terms of brut force she is close to an original. And she carries werewolves and witches abilities. Mikael is stronger than Klaus.

In every occasion he beat Mikael he did it with help from other people and or distraction. I have no problem believing Klaus is slightly physically strong but Mikael is shown to be at least on par with him and a better fighter which would make sense given their backgrounds.
Mikael *IS* stronger than Klaus; that's a fact, not an opinion, due to Mikael being way older. Klaus being the Original Hybrid wouldn't help in that fight; since his partial transformation a.k.a. lycanthrope enhancement slightly increases his strength. It's been shown in The Originals he's able to withstand the effects of the werewolf venom; even while he's weakened by it he still can kick Klaus' ass. The only person that's evenly matched against Klaus is Elijah.

Is it just me that always sees how not unkillable all these vampires or any other immortals are. While it'd be highly difficult to do it, you could just cut their head off or rip out their heart or cut them in half. I'd love to see Klaus grow back his head. Even Elijah almost killed Klaus by nearly taking his heart.
While Lucien and Marcel had the most vicious bite, I believe that Alaric is the strongest one, he had just been created and was already able to overpower Klaus and the Salvatores, Lucien comes second because of the beast serum and the fact that he is a 1000 years old, I think at his most formidable Klaus would be stronger than Marcel because Marcel is much younger and doesn't have klaus's terrible anger or experience and training, because he was an even better fighter than Mikael as a human

I hate to see Klaus getting overpowered by someone. As if it is almost right for him to be the strongest Vampire. The times when he was defeated by Marcellus, Alaric and all was short-lived, due to some magic, and potions. But Klaus was the original hybrid, survived every attack of his enemies, to only die on his terms, for love and nothing less. Now that is power.

Marcellus was a 200 year old vampire the serum shouldn’t have made him the same strength as Lucien. Klaus and Elijah should have still be stronger or equal to him.
The whole point of the serum was to be stronger than the originals just like what Esther did to Alaric. The originals are inferior here, it's not that hard to understand that magic made them and magic can make better thems
That would make sense if he transformed after the serum without the death. The death pretty much removed his vampire side and created an enhanced original vampire with powerful werewolf venom and a body that can easily resist the power and poison of that said venom. pretty much made him a new species of a superior vampire. That's why he is stronger than the Mikaelsons. It shouldn't even be like that in my opinion but oh well. Creator's choice.

Yes she is strong but she’s young. She does train and that does give her an advantage in fighting, but by Tvd lore, the older a vampire gets the stronger they become. The heretics and hybrids we’ve seen in serious fights have centuries on Hope and have probably been in countless fights that they’ve honed their skills and picked up many tricks along the way. If we were to factor in Hopes magic and her werewolf side that would make her stronger physically. Then i think she’d be higher on the list.

Klaus almost beat marcel and he broke marcel neck like two times and klaus did no damage against lucain so that tells you whose stranger and the only reason they killed him was because freya turned him back into a regular vampire and if klaus wanted to killed marcel he could have with the knife freya made to kill marcel.

Wouldn't hope be stronger since she was born as a vampire and not by magic you have to think about it even if she's not as old as the others she'd still be stronger cause for her it's natural.
The honourable mentions are so wrong. Being a stronger vampire is 90% about being an older vampire yet I'm seeing non-modified vampires of less than 700 years as honourable mentions. How is Hope in the top 10?
I personally disagree with Klaus being the strongest Mikealson "Vampire" I do agree with his Hybrid status he is but if you were basing it purely on Vampire I would probs put Mikael and Elijah above him. But I suppose it depends on what your catagory was for it

i think Marcel is not stronger than alaric except by his venom alaric could win against him since alaric got some of more years in power than the mikaelsons by the time when Marcel got his boost alaric would be older and since the serum was made to surpass normal originals alaric has a good chance of defeating marcel
Sorry to digress, Elijah ripped Marcel's heart out right? So, how does he still lives? He doesn't have to have a heart? Am confused with these, can anyone help clear these?
Tough to tell really, but I wonder how a thousand year old Enhanced Original Alaric would compare to Lucien since Alaric is only a 40 year old vamp. But if he had been a vampire as long as Lucien has, he could potentially be the strongest.
This a list of top 10 powerfull vampires but I don't know why Marcel and Lucien was in the list bcz they are not a vampire they take the beast serum so they don't come under that category

I just wanna say most people in here are forgetting the real OG vampire the 2000-year-old himself. The half Vamp and half witch Silas. The only vamp to exist for 1000 year before the originals were a thing and made Klaus look so week. he was stronger than the top 3 on this list - the up-graded venom. I also hate people on here saying oh good thing Hope was placed right because of her (Vamp) only side???? if Klaus was rated (Vamp) only and not with the wolf side he would be 7th behind Mikal, Finn, and Elijah dude to age so the list definitely is not perfect at all!
I think Alaric belongs at number 1 since after his return aside from an anti magic loophole he was unkillable. Also Mikael is stronger than Klaus regardless of the outcomes of their fights. The rest of the list is common sense but way too many honorable mentions.
