This is a review of the Legacy Blade Blaster from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as part of the Legacy toyline. At this time, it's a Toys "R" Us exclusive and retails for $79.99. This is the classic weapon of the original Power Rangers and it looks awesome. The diecast metal parts feel great and I especially like the cool sounds they added. But the best part is how quick and easy it is to transform from Blaster Mode to Holster Mode to Blade Mode and back. Once again, the Legacy toyline has another solid release, and I highly recommend this item along with the other Legacy items that have been released.

Great review! Thank you! To everyone else, get them while you can. I went to my local ToysRUs and they were all out PLUS the sales person at ToysRUs said they have been discontinued and they will not be getting any more. Once they are gone, they are gone. Sad because this thing looks AMAZING!

Looks like the Legacy Blade Blaster is getting a re-release (in the US) later this year; I've seen it up for pre-order. Kind of debating whether it's worth the $80 price tag, so being able to watch your review was a big help in terms of figuring out what I'd be paying for. Sounds like it may well be worth it. I am curious, how well has it held up over a couple of years of display (and, I should hope, occasional play)?
