The buck rex is such a slap to the face. I don't know why they did such minimal effort for it. Especially since this might be the buck we have for a long time since we don't know the future of the Hammond collection buck considering it's a part of the crowdfunding gates.

now we just need the trailers and high hide with Eddie and dart gun, Nick and Kelly. Then we can hope for more hunter vehicles like the capture hummer and dirt bikes.aka take me back to 1997 i have the money now lol

I'd LOVE a capture Hummer. Wish the Mamenchisaurus releasing later this year had a capture bike, but maybe one day!

I have ran into the not fully connected tail bits before, but rubbing some super glue on a toothpick to get the glue inside, then holding for a minute works well. Sadly it is something we occasionally have to deal with with the nature of cheaper mass production.

Since the Extreme Damage T-Rex more closely resembles Doe due to the strips on her face, you could potentially have the entire Rex Family in your collection including the infant figure.

the legacy and hammend collection are the only reasons i wish we still had target in Canada, instead we have to hope toys r us gets them in... i order hammend collection from big bad toy store now because only amazon canada has them and are very over priced. legacy does usually show up at tru but it is 3 - 6 monthes after the usa gets them at target. im still waiting for jp93 collection to come in sigh.

Great review. hoping to pick this set up myself. my only gripe with the set is I kinda wish we got a Eddie Carr and not another Malcolm . nothing against getting another Ian but would be nice if they maybe waited to give us that version with the command vehicle if they plan one of those.

I might be the only one who winces every time Tom gets those big scissors in there XD Love this; I have my set ready to go! ^^ Mattel skimping on paint is no surprise, but they only retooled the head and not the collar, which gives that neck an unfortunate 'pinched' appearance. If they redid that collar piece to match as well, the bluke would have looked a lot more natural, but oh well! THE MERCEDEZ. I really hope we get the 6x6 from JW! That's my fave, other than this M-Class! \^^/

I appreciate the different T rex sculpt, but i'm really starting to dislike Mattel's choice to use minimal paint on things. Ridiculous. They can paint these figures way better and more completely without breaking the bank.

While it’s a shame that the Buck T-Rex got such a minimalistic job in the paint scheme, I do think it’s still overall a pretty decent figure. The Mercedes is a nice touch and I hope they’ll eventually give us the RV at some point as well since that vehicle is long overdue. Perhaps also someone can also give us a Kenner throw back to the cancelled capture truck as well from TLW line similar to the inspired vehicle based on the Kenner Series 2 cancelled Explorer from the 30th anniversary line.

@@JurassicCollectables they certainly did. I was even impressed with the Kenner inspired Explorer from the 30th anniversary line and the BioSyn helicopter was actually really good. I would love to see Mattel make more vehicles and play sets since we still need a Visitor Center play set similar to the original Kenner version with the main gate, the fences, and the command center.

I like how you got the name of the Mercedes right the first time and then called it an Explorer at one point and then just call it ML30 and not 320 😂

I'm a bit on the fence with this one. Watched yours and Andy DR's but the Rex is lacking a bit and Ian doesn't resemble Jeff G that much either. Hope Mattel make a new Spiny with the broken plane as a set; then we can get billy etc. Do you think I should wait until it decreases in price?

Tyrannosaurus Rex Ambush Pack is so Dino-amazing! Formerly i want to pick up this pack just want to get Buck the male T-Rex 🦖 until you show how amazing and beautiful this vehicle is made me change my mind. I will pick up this pack just want to get Buck the male T-Rex and this vehicle, both of these figure are so fantastic! I not Jurassic Park human figure collector, so i not care much about Ian Malcolm, even Ian Malcolm in The Lost World Jurassic Park version. Legacy Collection Buck the male T-Rex will be more cooler IF Mattel put more paint 🎨🖌️ on this figure, that will be nice, overall i still like Legacy Collection Buck the male T-Rex attempt the new head sculpt, i am biggest fan of Buck the male T-Rex since i was a kid 🥲. The T-Rex looks worse than the Jurassic world legacy collection tyrannosaurus Rex pack I'm sorry that T-Rex needs more work for one thing it needs more color on the edge of the back and the rest of the nails Kenner make better job on the tyrannosaurus rex toys than mattel and I love to see Kenner come back to make Jurassic Park toys again I missed Kenner besides the best Jurassic Park bull tyrannosaurus Rex from the Hasbro did from 2009 2k9 orange alpha bull tyrannosaurus Rex looks real than the new version of the Jurassic park 2 buck and the ambush pack I'm sorry that's what I think and no hard feelings but it's true
