There's just no room. I think you need about 17 blue sources for your manabase, I think Wasteland is mandatory to beat Urza's Saga, greedy manabases, critical lands from the Lands deck. So if you add Mutavault it would be lands 22-26 in the deck which means you have to kick out spells.

@@nikachuplaysmtg cool cool. Also looking forward to Harbinger of the Seas and curious how many and which three drops we can reasonably fit into the deck. Turned out that people still don't expect Tishanas Tidebinder ("it does WHAT??"), get killed by TNN over 7 turns and even overlook Hullbreacher (which I played as a fun off in the Board against Control.. and still caught an Uro draw attempt). Do you see Flare of Denial in Legacy? Maybe 2 main over Dismember? Once you have the creature on board I might prefer it to FoW. I played against Depths and had to hold back a creature as my only blue card left for FoW over several turns.. until I reached 5 mana. Though have a good one and hope to see you soon. Probably I'll cut Tishana's Tidebinder from the main for Harbinger of the Seas, maybe keep 2x Tidebinder in the sideboard. I'll for sure play Flare of Denial. Maybe 2x main and 2x sideboard. Deck is going to be insane! I don't stream much on Twitch anymore, it's just easier for me to record a game here and there then edit them together into a full league or challenge.

I would recommend not playing the deck :P I'll make a video about my games, list and everything. I'm not sure what I would change in mono blue, I would like to experiment with Simic though (cenote scout, Deeproot Wayfinder, Pick your Poison). However, that would drive the price of the deck by a ton on paper.

I’ve been enjoying my Simic list in Modern! I chose to lower the curve and go up to 16 lords. It curves well, and aggressively tempos people.
