Over the sandhill ruts in Nebraska, where the Mormon Trail meanders through the flat country. This was a significant time when you could actually see a real trail rather than following the highway that eventually became the union Pacific Railroad. The Mormon Trail really felt real. This was a reality show like no other. It is here that the Wagon Train experienced us first mishap with a wagon.
