This is by far the most helpful and easy step by step way to connect factual information and the law . Taking law through distance learning . Your video will be referred to as often to remind me how IRAC should really work. Thank you so much.

Thank so much! This was extremely helpful! I was told that my IRAC'n was good but I needed to work on my analysis. I felt more confident after watching your video. Now I'm just waiting to hear back from my grader to see what their comments will be. Thanks again Professor for turning on that "bright light" in my brain this finally makes so much sense! I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos!

hello prof hara , im taking LLB thru distance learning and i would like to thank u for ur videos, coming from a med background, law is a totally new playing field and i find myself struggling with how to study etc. ur videos have rly helped me. may i ask a question? re: definition of “spitting”, will exams provide the definition of the word? or would i have to know the definition by heart? bec if the definition of spitting is provided in the exam, it would make it easier…

Hello, and thank you so much for your kind words. I am glad the videos are helpful. Now, to answer your question: Like most things in law, the answer is "it depends." If the exam is open book/note, you can confirm the definition in your outline. If not, you will have to know the definition cold--have it memorized. Typically, law school exams are very time limited; thus, even if it is open book/note, you likely will not have time to look things up. Thus, you should plan to memorize. I have some videos and other content that (hopefully) will help with that.

when i first saw the case I was thinking of battery negligence, wrongder is the brother, or promise from contract that is not a deal, the swimming guardian said sister violated the swmming pool's rule, I was so confused...I got clearly understand about why in later, the issue is the first light came into my mind was never spitting... totally go to the wrong way, so stress on myself for this subject.

Are there books that can be borrowed from a or from the law school,s library where more fact patterns to read can be found to get used to reading them and seeing what they look like?

Yes -- check out my short video called Study Aids: Selecting and Using Them in Law School to see an overview. Examples and explanations is often a popular choice
