Honestly, yes!! When you’re in theater, you know directors usually give ensemble parts to the most talented cast members because they can play multiple roles and slay!
Everybody SLAYED in this production!! Brooke and Paulette stole the show, Elle's energy is so on point, and Emmet's voice sounds surprisingly close to Christian Borle?? I had a blast, thank you for sharing! :D
I usually don't check out HS versions of musicals on YT but I decided to try this one out and I absolutely do not regret it!! The whole cast absolutely killed it (like Chutney)!!
Pausing 7 minutes in to say that that was one of the best Omigod You Guys performances any school has ever done. So this is probably gonna be the best Legally Blonde any school has ever done. I'm BUCKLED UP.
OMIGOD!!! this has gotta be my favorite high school production of legally blonde!!! i love the cast & this is really impressive for a HIGH SCHOOL(!!!) production,,, wow honestly just wow!!! ESPECIALLY THE ELLE SHE WAS AMAZING!!! (honestly the rest of the cast too I LOVE THEM)
In an alternate reality (in addition to being this weird chick who talks baby talk to her dogs and then posts it on RU-vid), I’m a singer/songwriter/musician/former dancer with songs cut by people such as Barbara Mandrell… I was also involved in musicals in high school and college, from pit band to principal dancer. I just wanted to reiterate how IMPRESSIVE all of you are! Brava and bravo! ❤❤
I sincerely am so touched that you enjoyed our play and watched it all the way through! Our kids work so hard and to have their talent appreciated is amazing! I have many more plays on my channel throughout the years that you may enjoy. Cinderella, Les Miserable and The Little Mermaid were also very good, but The Addams Family was one of our best. The company that licenses this play made me take it down unfortunately, but oh, it was wonderful! Going to try and get them to allow me to post it again. Anyway, again, THANK YOU so much!!!
@@funfamily6 Thanks for letting me know! I’ll look them up! I hope that the licensing company in question can be persuaded to allow a bit of wholesome fun on your channel! Are you the drama teacher? My dad holds a doctorate in education but taught in high schools for his 56-year career. He taught French and English, but in a tiny Swedish farming community, sans an actual drama teacher, he handled that role as well. 😉 (He also did some regional theater. I was a child at the time, so I remember him best as “the old guy with a sword” in “The Fantasticks!” 😂)
@@UniquelyDisqualified, what wonderful memories you must have! That is so special! I am not the theatre teacher, but he is a dear friend of mine. My son was his student for four years and had great roles in the plays he directed including Javert in Les Mis. My son won the prestigious award of All National for his voice in 2017. I'm very proud of him and the acting program at his high school gave my son and my whole family such joy that I volunteer for the kids and acting teacher ever since as a way to give back. Their energy is just so invigorating and makes me happy. I videotape and photograph their performances, rehearsals etc. These are memories they should have for the rest of their lives and that's where RU-vid comes in! As far as The Addams Family, I did beg them to please let me keep it up on my channel especially for these kids. The kids that have already graduated love watching their old performances and actually have dorm parties to watch all their old shows. It's sad that they don't have this up on RU-vid, but some who have performed have the original performances on flash drives for themselves and their memories. Thank goodness for that!
You certainly have every reason to be very proud of your son! Very impressive! And you appear to be someone extremely special for those kids! You’re right; these are memories they will cherish more with each passing year! And you’ve provided the videos they can watch forever. They will appreciate you all the more as the years go by! 😉❤️
