No, you wouldn't. Because you know they would (rightfully so) eliminate the excessive random battles that were 50% of the original's play time, and probably tweak other parts of the game, if not actually remaking it. If all you want is Sony to reskin the old Dragoon with 4K textures, you should probably just say that. And let's be blunt: Every fan that GETS a remake on modern hardware fails to BUY a remake on modern hardware. Even if a ton of people loved the new FF7 (for a great, recent example), the majority of fans clearly just wanted a reskin and shit all over it. And really though.. excessive random encounters, in 2021? Gross. I get story issues, but we can play the old games if we want the same exact thing again. Asking for a SEQUEL would be great, but pandering for a remake like maybe half a million people being interested in this makes it plausible is just weird.

I think you aresimply focusing on the negative here pal. Btw asking for a sequel for TLOD is noob as hell, a prequel covering the dragon campaign would have much more impact. The orignal game's ending cuts it perfectly, and we don't want a game without Rose in it !

dude the wings are some of my favorites parts of all of the armors! like as a kid I always wondered is it actual physically there or is it just like pure energy glowing from the wings! seeing a faint glow come off of them in a remake would be soo cool!

Dart, Rose, and Feyrbrand could be changed up a little. The Dragons in LoD base their power scale by how many eyes they have. The more eyes the more powerful which is represented by their headband in Dragoon Armor. If you notice all of em have 6 eyes. The only difference is the Divine Dragon/Dragoon that has 7. Also Feyrbrand looks more like a Lizardman than a Dragon. Also forgot the Master of the Rouge Art Haschel, Meru, and Miranda. I can understand Meru and Miranda because they show up later but not poor Haschel. Lol

"Also Feyrbrand looks more like a Lizardman than a Dragon." His looks are definitely wrong, but I'm fairly sure Feyrbrand was more like a praying mantis than a "dragon" as we would think of, no? Sure he was still a dragon, but much more insect like than an actual dragon.

Sad thing is they spent so much money on it and the soundtrack is amazing. The only reason it didn’t do well is because they released it so late in the ps1 timeline. by the time I played it I had a ps2. Funny story, I actually bought FF7 didn’t like it cause I got lost, took it back and got this one and loved it. It was a all around a more fun battle system to me. The music and places were so captivating. I slogged through a hefty 4 discs and the final boss was so hard I remember trying to beat it for 3 days till I back tracked to level up and try it again. It’s a good franchise and has so much potential if they do it right. A remake or sequel/prequel would have so much to expand upon. I wish they would give it another shot for this generation. It’s such a unique game!

Bad thing of most "remake" is new system. I'm afraid iconic things like addition combat changed to hack-slash like generic RPG this day. We already know how ATB deleted from FF7 and CTB deleted from Valkyrie Profile. I know that system looks weird if applied with realistic graphic,but without that,its just generic RPG with nostalgia element 🤔

@@naso1987 he did have the weakest Dragoon form overall (though Meru's wasn't too good either) but his full attack sequence was the easiest to get. And in his non-dragoon form he did the most damage and could take the most hits out of anyone on the team (expect for Dart's damage after he gets the Dragon Buster) so I still found him useful.

I swear the locations and landscapes are beautiful works of art. Almost every character art looks amazing. I like the dragoon armor except darts headband. Lavitiz should loose the weird spikes on his back. My biggest gripe is the dragoon wings are feathers instead of a membrane type deal. The wind dragon looks too humanoid imo. Rose having horns in her base model and red eyes kinda paints her as a villian. I can tell you put alot of work and effort into this and hope to see more.

Great to see some quality concept art! Dart, Albert and Kongol seem to be too similar (like created from the same base model). Lavitz and Rose are amazing. Not 100% about the dragoon design. I'm pulling more toward the "glass" wings rather than feathered wings.

The Legend of Dragoon we all wanted. If Sony ever gets around to remastering this game, it should be just with updated models. Not game-changing "soft reboot." The original story and environment was near perfect. The gameplay was nuanced just enough to make it unique. A true remaster of Legend of Dragoon would be the greatest JRPG in history. It would finally overcome being in the shadow of FFVII.

everything looks great except a few things 1.Shana really shouldn't look intense or serious, she was always light hearted and optimistic and can't recall any moment in the whole game where she would have that look 2. dragoon wings all need to be replaced except my dart's, they all look out of place 3. albert looks like a chad but doesn't fit how he carried himself as king, he should've been much more smoother like lavitz and his hair neatly kept

The only slight pet peeve I have with the designs is the wings for the dragoons, it's too bird like. I feel as though they should be more dragon esque. Other than that these look absolutely beautiful

These looked really amazing. Clearly a lot of thought and work went into these. I didn't care for the change in Shana or Albert's hairstyles, and Feyrbrand should be a bit more like a preying mantis but overall I love his design. Rose's Dragoon form looked...off though. Her face and hair looked like a hasty add on, but I love her armor.

Loved the designs especially the one for Lavitz which would actually make it hurt more down the line. However, the redesign for Feyrbrand sort of took it a bit way too literal as the original Feyrbrand is Mantis-like in appearance instead of an actual Dragon.

My favourite hero, Albert, is as awesome and cool as he has to be. I really hope the remake would take place. Sometimes I think I would either be glad to have a remastered original version with 4k textures for up-to-date PC, like many old games are being re-released nowadays.
