Legend of Korra Book 4 Finale: Korrasami 30 Video Reaction Compilation [WARNING: LOUD]

I took 30 reactions to the HMS Korrasami reaching the Dock of Canon and compiled them into one large simultaneous reaction. There would be more but 30 drove me crazy as it is, and the videos can only get so small.
Thank you for the memories, Bryke! I hope you see this and get a glimpse into how many lives you've affected with your shows.
This is a transformative work under RU-vid's "Fair Use" policy. It uses the juxtaposition of clips to provide a commentary. Legend of Korra is owned by Nickelodeon and the Godly Duo known as Bryke.

@@peegeeop4513 LOL, Korra and Asami never hated each other. They were upset with Mako separately, but neither one took it out on each other in book 1, and gave each other other space in book 2. Book 3 was when they started to tag team and hung out with each other more. Also note, that the two of them merely acknowledge the beginning of their relationship when the series ended in book 4. Correct me if I'm wrong, but do people start groping and kissing each other if they're at the beginning of moving pass the friendship stage and into something more than friendship but haven't quite establish romantic relationship yet? Secondly, you not seeing hints is a you thing. That's your shortcoming. You can't generalize that to anyone else since obviously the folks compiled in this video saw the hints. Even someone like me who didn't even watch LoK with any interest in relationships saw Korra and Asami growing close by episode 8, much later than a lot of folks who paid attention to shipping. So, as dense as I am, even I saw some of the cues.

little story about this: I actually saw the ending live and as soon as the they put there hands together, i got a call from my friend and when i answered the first thing he said was "DUDE ARE YOU WATCHING THIS!!!!!!!!!" when the ending credits came on i told him "Its finally canon" i think i actually shed a tear and i went and just hugged my mom and brother just uncontrollably laughing with pure joy and saying "ITS CANON ITS CANON" without a doubt one of the best moments of my life

I love that they went with Korrasami in the end instead of just forcing Mako and Korra back together at the end because Korra and Asami's relationship just seemed to grow more organically it just seemed more natural that the two of them would end up together.

Actually, the creators knew Korra and Mako wouldn't end up together since the ending of book 1. They worked on Korra's and Asami's relationship since the beginnung of book 3, so they knew really well what they wanted. That conversation with Mako at the end of book 4 was for the Makorra shippers; Mike and Bryan wanted to make clear that Makorra could never work ever again. They wanted them as friends. I am not a Korrasami shipper but I liked the ending anyway. :) It was full of emotion and most of the loose threads had been cleared out. :)

which is better this way, for one Mako and Korra are happier than when they were together. They would always fight , in ALMOST EVERY SCENE in season 2, and even admitted that they would never work. They needed to experience personal growth, and obtain from their partner emotional stability and trust, which they both weren't at the time . As Mako said he " needed to figure out who he was without a lady in his life." Korra needed someone to offer emotional support and advice. Yes it's always sad when your ship doesn't sail , but think of Makorra/Masami as being cargo in the Korrasami ship

I have no doubt that the theater would be echoing with cheers and hoorahs for days, and some people might even go deaf from the sheer awesomosity of the cheers. The only time I've been in a situation like that was when I watched the theatrical release of DBZ: Battle of Gods. When Vegeta beat the crap out of Beerus for hitting Bulma, everyone was like "DAAAAAAAAAAMMMMNNNN!!!!" I would have loved to see this in theaters. It has enough action and good quality to fit right in the big screen.

When Korra said "sounds perfect," I started crying because all I could think of was, "Korra's finally happy. She's happy, she's happy," and I just kept repeating it. Then, literally seven seconds afterwards, I started downright SOBBING when they held hands. The only thing I was thinking of (other than Korra and Asami finally coming together as a couple, obviously) was "They're both happy! They've done so much and they deserve each other and they're finally happy!" Book 4 DESTROYED me emotionally. Astounding job, Bryke.

I was in bittersweet mode when it ended. But then i stayed up an hour thinking about it, then another, then another...i didnt sleep that whole night. I had that weird feeling in my stomach. I cried night 2. Night 3 i began to accept that its over. Watching this since 3rd grade, now im a senior in highschool. Bless bryke.

As someone who also has done some reaction compilations/mashups, I just want to take a moment to say well done! Syncing videos together is a huge pain and takes a lot of time and effort and I think you did an amazing job. I've not watched Legend of Korra but I like reactions so your video was idea for me... Your Doctor Who compilations were actually what inspired me to do this! Your 50th Anniversary vids are pulled up semi-often when I want to reexperience seeing that event in theatres. If you don't mind spoilers for a show you don't watch, this was the series finale of LoK. Yours was probably the closest to my reaction the first time I watched it. I was too blown away that they actually went through with it and didn't just give a subtle hint like I was expecting to have a big reaction, though all the vids of people freaking out and screaming with joy are a good representation of what was going on in my head afterwards.

I have always found it hard to except that I am gay. I’ve grown up with ATLA and it was amazing. But now since I’m at a good age to understand LOK I can relate 101% with that show. When I saw Korra and Asami hold hands I knew that it was okay for me to be gay. Korra not only found the light in darkness but, she showed me that there is hope at the end of the tunnel. Thank you ALTA, LOK, and Bryke for making this amazing show. ATLA and LOK will always have a special spot in my heart. Thank you for healing me and showing me the way ❤️.

My reaction was fairly contained. I didn’t ship Korrasami before then because... well... I just thought it was a fandom thing and fandoms ship just about anybody with anyone. I'm strictly canon when it comes to such things, no need to change who the character likes to make the story better. but at the end credits I sat there dumbfounded. "I must of misread that..." I thought to myself as I backtrack five mins. "Oh my god... this really is a thing? I don't know..." rewatch last five mins again now certain of what it was and how I felt about it. This... this is why I love Avatar so much. For ten years of my life I watched this show grow as I did. That ending, made me smile. Korrasami is a thing. And the darkhorse comics that are being made to expand on their relationship and further the avatar story will be welcomed by an eager fan.

I'm so thankful this is on video. I cried my fucking eyes out everytime that I see these reactions. I love all the girls and boys reacting to this with such a huge wonderful emotion, you guys lived it back then and you're part of history. Me, I just saw TLOK this year 2021 and I loved it so much, my gf showed it to me and she recorded my reaction because she knew that I had no idea what was going to happen in the end and she was so emotional, this cartoon made history and when I saw it I didn't know it, but now I know and I'm so glad I had the chance to see it. Commander Puma13 same!! When the series recently ended, I was often joking around saying I would never get over this amazing moment(korrasami) and it will always have an electrifying effect to me. I'm actually shocked that to this day, there hasn't been a time when the ending hasn't affected me in some way. It's amazing.

I just finished the last episode today and I was really happy. I knew there would be tons of reaction videos to what happened too so I hopped on the youtube's right after. This is hilarious, the collective scream when Korra and Asami hold hands was hysterical. It's also really touching that this cartoon can make people so emotional. Thank you to who created this video for a great laugh and thank you to the creator's of Legend of Korra!

Why does Korra have to leave so early... It's been the most amazing journey. I wish I could erase the series from my mind, so I could experience the whole thing again. Emotions don't have to be loud to touch others. While I hate using the term "feels", I can't help but say that watching every singular reaction video to Korrasami gave empathetic feels every time, regardless of the magnitude of the reaction. Happiness does not need a voice, but it can be nice sometimes. :)

Nearly 10 years ago we saw one our favourite Avatar Universe characters grow from a brash hot-headed teenager to a grounded, compassionate woman with the love of her life by her side. And in real life, we watched children's animated shows (American at least) make a groundbreaking shift. Korrasami walked so that Steven Universe, She-Ra, and other shows could RUN. So thank you DiMartino and Konietzko for being such an huge positive influence in our early lives. I can't wait to see what you have lined up for us with Avatar Studios! May balance always prosper!

Video creator here. I'll be honest, I cried. I've shipped Korrasami since the start of Book 3. It wasn't because I wanted a non-hetero relationship, not that I'm opposed to it. But rather because I thought it would be perfect for two best friends to fall in love with each other. Personally I'm biased since I may or may not be in the same situation Asami was in - specifically (and this is my belief) that she fell in love with Korra during Book 3. Korra I feel may not have actually had similar feelings until the 3-year skip between Books 3 and 4. For 3 years Asami waited, and when things got darkest, her love was returned and confirmed. Being in Asami's position now, where I'm in love with a best friend who couldn't, shouldn't possibly love me back, it was such a beautifully sweet moment to see all of her patience, kindness, and support rewarded, and it strengthened my resolve that if I'm the best person I can be for the person I care for the most, then maybe one day I will get my happy ending.

(My reaction as a non-roleplayer xD: It was funny, because I was watching with my mom and when Korra was talking to Mako, out of nowhere I spoke up and said, "Hey, mom, you know people think Korra and Asami should be together?" I had heard about Korrasami mid-season three, and I gave it a bit of thought like 'yeah, that would be cute' but I didn't really start hardcore shipping until Reunion. So when the ending came, and they walked into the spirit portal, and my mom said "Okay, that's a little suspicious." [joking, of course, my mom doesn't hate gays, lesbians, or bisexuals], I ran out of her bedroom into my room and had a whole freakout moment xD I didn't cry until the second time I watched it, though!)
