@@farenhite4329If you like this track you'll almost assuredly like I am waiting for you, which goes from nice opener, to gut wrenching lullaby as you discover more throughout the series.
i've never cried 3rd time in an anime and one of them was in 3rd season i was criying while she's saying no need fuck it it's special it deserves my tears
No need for crying, let out your feelings, wide through the space, where time just endlessly spins, twinkling tears of night, darkness turns to light, Sailing so free, Sailing in peace, lay your heart down onto the sea of the stars. Struggling and losing, never returning, into the dreams, of all the planets that sleep, Rainbow colored stars, gently taps the heart, Dreaming along, high above all, Awaken now upon the sea of the stars. Life is a gift from above, still there always an end, Deep within hatred is beauty of love that sing. No need for crying, you won't be lonely, whisper a prayer, to souls that endlessly live, sparkling dusts of tears, soon shall disappear, trust and forgive, Universe back in peace, Rise now oh child upon the sea of the stars. Rise now oh child upon the sea of the stars.
I swear, this is probably the most powerful and divine song i've heard from an anime, superb harmony and unique melody.. once you hear this, it stays with you. I've discovered Legend of the Galactic Heroes in a very random way, it's a shame that this gem isn't really as popular as it deserves to be although i'm sure that it is loved enough.
I didn't know.. well, i'm not used to english dubs but i don't think that they're that bad (obviously watching something in its original language is better), at least they would let people know the series so if they end up disliking the dub they would simply look for the subbed episodes. In my country though, LOGH will probably remain a mysterious retrò series with subs stopped in the middle of the third season. \m/
i actually agree. long time ago in asia, i saw this anime in a channel called wowow(?!). i dont even understand the dialog but the animation is so nice from what ive seen before then this song came up and that phrase and melody "sea of the stars.." just sticked to me for a long time. thank god for google and youtube you can do partial searches and found it again.
Boy o boy of all the openings in LOGH this is the one that truly captivates the whole experience of the anime. All the other ones were good but this just catches it all, the adventure in the stars, the epic journey, and the emotional feeling you get. It's just a picture perfect score that goes with anything space opera.
I've been practicing this song for a couple of weeks to add to my repertoire. When my mother heard me one day, she asked if this was the Reptar song from "Rugrats in Paris" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I yelled out "WHAAAAT" and proceeded to laugh for 20 minutes

no. Just no. This one is a space opera, not a shounen-hero mecha. This is a story where the composition's big picture and details are good. Every single element: music, animation, voice acting, direction, etc. tells the beauty of the story completely. Every single note in the music, every single curve in the character's faces, every single vibration in the actor's voice carries out meaning. However, the general structure, the build up, the tension, the resolutions are superb. It's like the viewers are taken to a hike through mountains and also a rollercoaster simultaneously. Also, here we have normal characters where most people have parents, and orphans actually live in difficulties. Here, we don't have an autistic boy beating everyone's ass just because he is a genius. Here the MC is not an immortal omnipotent God. Also, the rival of the MC (which one is the rival and which one is the MC I don't even know) is not an asshole. We clearly see that they both want good and they have their own reasons in their actions. This is a story of heroes, not a story of an autistic child soldier and a beatable-face slain-everybody asshole.
@@zerox8413 Not really. Star Wars isn’t really about war, it’s about a fantasy adventure with a small cast. Legend of the Galactic Heroes is about a full scale galactic war with hundreds of characters.
