At 8:30ish, a much easier way to get to that shrine is to just climb the tree that you see as soon as you leave the cave (to the left of Link at 8:30). As you get out of the cave and it gets cold again, you should notice a big tree trunk, just climb up that
Just started it last night in earnest….it’s wonderful so far. I loved Breath of the Wild so I can’t wait to see everything that has evolved since that game.
@@jackson5116 I hope you're a troll or just young. Nintendo really hasn't had a great reputation for carrying old save data onto a new console outside of Pokemon. Shoot, they've basically been resistant against it so they can get people to buy their same exclusives purchased over and over (although admittedly a lot of dev companies do that exact same thing). I imagine that will finally change on the next console, but so far it's been pretty terrible compared to xbox and playstation with recalling save data.
I'm glad that you mentioned the Archaic tunic. I have seen too many people completely miss it. But then again there are also people who miss the Archaic warm greaves even though the chest is placed right in your path.
Attach a ruby to a shield. As long as you have it equipped you will not suffer cold damage. Switch it out if you get into combat and then use the spicy pepper meals.
TIP #1- play Breath of the Wild first! It’s the game before this one, and it’s an absolute masterpiece. No hyperbole. This sequel takes a lot from that first game and expands upon it, so definitely play BoTW first. You won’t regret it.
I accidentally went to the Ice area before visiting the plot door, and got trapped on the south end of the Island with no easy way to get back to the North end. Game expected me to use Ultrahand to make the Minecart in the Zonai Charge shop, but I had not unlocked it… Had to restart from a new game to get out.
I completely missed the Ultrahand shrine when I went to the door, so I went to the south end first as well. Had a helluva time getting back to the northern area, but it *is* possible if you don't care how long it takes
Lol it took me an hour and a half to navigate from north to south after I did the shrines backwards… 😂 so much fall damage when I’d get frustrated and just jump for it….idk that I’ve ever raged at a tutorial before
I think this is my favorite game ever. Overall, I like the format of Ocarina a little better but Breath just gives me so much nostalgia. It's incredible they've created a series that's so popular and every game has some similar aspects but in most ways is just completely different. But, I love BOTW because it's the first game that really makes me feel I'm on an adventure with the main character. Excited to know the direction they take Zelda next.
I never realized there was an underground area with the mine carts, I got to all of the shrines going above ground, and as a result I missed the rest of the gear
While it is more streamlined to do the first sky island shrines in a counterclockwise circle, I'm pretty sure there is no reason you can't do them in whatever random order you want to. Although not having some of the abilities might make it harder to get to them.🤔
Great video. I wish I'd had it before I made it down to Hyrule. Would have made things a lot easier! loll Esp going counter-clockwise to get to the shrines. Would have saved me a lot of headache

I did the island in revsere order. After ultra hand I went to ascend and then fuse... Ya it eas way harder and more annonying. I could see like how mich eaiser it be rhe other way lol.

I haven't played a Zelda since Ocarina Of Time. It took me way too long to get through the starter islands and me being the loot goblin I am ran off as soon as I got to the main ground missing the paraglider and towers for a long time.
i didnt realize i just spwnt 5 hours at the START of the game getting all the ability’s only to find out the game is just now starting when i get to the ground😭
I also thought it would cheapen the exploration, but it doesn't. The devs made sure to build the environments in such a way that you never feel like you are "cheating" when using this ability. It's just another tool they used to create different puzzles and challenges, that's all.
I straight up play on Thursday night ( Cause I am in Australia) And than realize on Friday morning 4AM there are a EXAM worth 30% mark listening test. And I am like : Who care if there is a new Zelda game ? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The first time I tried the tutorial yes I felt so many times that the tutorial section that I reset set my save file I made a super Minecart it's funny 3 Minecarts 12 fans and two small pieces of wood
@@hooky17 The thumbnail says ‘DON’T MISS THIS’. They’re literally just an item that unlocks in the third main story quest. It’s impossible to miss if you play the game and follow the tutorial.
@@MrDwightSchrute if i watched every RU-vid video titled “don’t miss this” or “must watch” I’d never get anything done. If anybody CHOOSES to watch this and spoil themselves that’s up to them. The video title clearly explains what this is
Is it just my day 1 switch or is anyone else feel like it's running in 20 fps or less a bit. Not complaining that 30 is low just getting more dips than expected
I bought a switch oled just for this game and the right stick is wondering. Makes the fusion nearly impossible. Im absolutely furious, what a waste of money

Ganondorfs corpse has some weird poison stuff which weakens link back to 3 hearts and breaks the master sword. The weird poison gets on his arm which in turn someone finds him and replaces his arm with his cause it was basically done for.
