I bought a Legion 5 based on your reviews. I am digial nomad living in the Philippines. I am a full stack developer and have the AMD. It does really well for my needs and the battery does ok when blackouts or moving around. Thanks for the video.

To be short Legion 5 Pro is more likely to be for gamers and the X16 is for Designers...and also the webcam and built-in microphone of the X16 is better (I think) than the Legion... Great review...hoping to see more of this

I'd probably lean toward the X16 for the color accuracy alone. But as an artist, the pen kinda sucks. Yes, you can use stabilization/smoothing in most digital art software, but sometimes i like my drawing to be more responsive. Other than that I have no real faults with it. I had the Legion 5 a few few weeks ago and enjoyed it for the new games that came out (Gow Ragnorok, Sonic Frontiers, etc), but other than that, i wouldn't use it unless I had a monitor or pen display/tablet to connect to it

These are all probably above what I REALLY need but I'm leaning towards the Legend 5 Pro. I do the basic computer stuff like banking, surfing the web, watching RU-vid and I do have a small RU-vid channel and use Filmora to edit my mainly 1080P or $k videos so I'm really a light user but want something to grow into. My old Tashiba is on it's last leg. Thanks for the info you share.

I have the flow x13 and let me tell you, i didn't think the touchscreen would be a big deal for me, but it's been an amazing feature so far! I don't know about the x16 since it's bigger, but I love being able to go into tablet mode for using it on the couch connected to my Chromecast or on my bed. I also got a cheap MPP.2 stylus (the Renaisser Raphael 530) and I love playing around drawing apps and I _adore_ using it for taking notes and editing pdfs in tablet mode or flipping it over so the keyboard is facing the table and the screen is close to me, it's a game changer! Microsoft's OneNote is an amazing note-taking productivity app and it's making a big difference for me at work already, I've only had it for like a month so far. So if you do spend a lot of time using it for more casual use, I'd reconsider the x16 for the touchscreen alone

For your use-case, any Legion is overkill. I'd avoid all the laptops in the video (including the ones on the charts) and go with something you can be....leisurely with. Like a Swift X or a Thinkbook or something

$2000 for a 3060 is theft, you can't recommend this with a straight face over a legion that can get a 3070ti for like $1600

It's not only the GPU. You get a better screen, lighter computer, more portable, better battery life. Also the fact that you can fold it into a tablet, so considering those factors It's worth it. I just bought it and man the screen is a thing of beauty. If you're not going to be dragging it around everywhere and just use it for gaming, then yes, I would pick the Legion series
