BALI, INDONESIA - Not too far away from the famous site of Tanah Lot, you’ll find Babi Guling Slingsing "Bu Suci", a very popular place to eat one of the national dishes of Bali - babi guling, or roasted pig!
This was a restaurant I had wanted to visit for many years on my last trip to Bali, but didn’t have a chance, so it was great to finally be back after many years. As soon as they open at noon they are already busy with people lining up for dine in and takeaway. Like all babi guling in Bali, one of the greatest things about eating it is that you don’t just get roast pig, but also a nice variety of other side dishes - which to me really makes it.
It was an amazing babi guling experience, local, fresh, and delicious flavors. Highly recommended for authentic babi guling, Balinese food when you’re in Bali!

@@weiye8079 Muslims can't eat pork, but this is in Bali. Balinese people are Hindu, they can eat pork. Indonesia is a diverse country with many religions. Hindus, Christians, atheists, etc. can eat pork freely

Selingsing Bu Suci, Pak Dobiel, and Sari Kembar 99 are my top 3 no cap. Karya Rebo is only famous for their crispy pork. Their nasi bigul is not as good compared to the 3. 👍👍👍

There's a lot Bali's food that's really delicious. You should try babi guling pak dobiel, that's quite famous, and rujak gula bali at "Gulali" as well, which is mixed fruit with palm sugar chilli. Pork satay at "Sate sesep Aroma" at Bali cliff street. When you come to Kintamani try Mujair fish Nyat nyat at Tegukopi

Pak Dobiel isn't as good as Karya Rebo tbh, its overrated imo. Another good one in Kuta is Babi Guling Bu Ning, where the Balung soup being spicy and the meat being super juicy is also better than Pak Dobiel.

Mark as Indonesian i wanted to recommend you pork culinary that mostly have chinese influence that nasi campur dish that specialized at pontianak city if you wanted to visit Pontianak you also can enjoy Singkawang 3 hours from pontianak alot of dish you can try in there 😊

I think west Kalimantan like Pontianak & Singkawang is one of the best place to visit. There are many kinds of foods and cakes that you can try, especially Bipang, babi panggang. You can see the process of making Bipang at the place, it takes almost 11 hour to bake, it's very delicious and different taste. You must try it Mark.

I suggest you also try Babi Guling Pande Egi and Babi Guling Vengkung (famous for it's huge crispy pork skin), both are located at Gianyar.

Hi mark, finally you go to Babi Guling bu Suci Slingsing. if you say this is delicious, you should try Babi Guling Pande Egi, it is located in Gianyar regency,,, And near that area you can try Traditional cake from Bali called "Klepon Gianyar", the go to "pantai Lebih" to try "paket nasi sate ikan + traditional bakso ikan", or if you have a strong stomach you can try "lawar Plek", after go to Gianyar Regency you can straight to the karangasem Regency to find a lot of best Traditional Cuisine in Bali.

The black sausage is called "oret," and it's also one of my favorite elements of roasted pig. It typically consists of blood, eggs, and potatoes. Oh wow, you chose the bloody lawar 😮 That’s very authentic. I’m a bit iffy about blood on food as I’m not from Bali, so I’d usually opt for the non-bloody version. I’d also choose to have the non-bloody oret/urutan (Balinese sausage) if I can help it. I’ve never been to Ibu Suci’s. This looks like a nice place, not too fancy that it targets only foreigners but also not as hectic as having Be Guling at a market.
