Quit exaggerating he did throw sum but a lot if not most was legit body work...ol boy schooled loma on how to fight in the pros this ain't the amateurs
Despicable Salido does not want an honest duel. World champion 41-12-2, 28KO, before him Vasily Lomachenko 1-1, 1KO. He exceeded his weight, and lost his belt. They were in different weight classes. Salido 147, Lomacencr 130. Salido stabbed 49 blows below the belt and other dirty tricks, he had to be disqualified and was almost knocked out in the 12th round. And Lomachenko still won. Lomachenko landed more blows. Low shocks are not taken into account. The judges robbed Vasily Lomachenko
Yes Salido fought a very dirty fight and didn't make weight. Lomachenko was robbed but I think this motivated him to elevate his game. This was a good learning experience. Lets hope Salido doesn't duck Lomachenko now.
aaron pryor Anyone who appreciates boxing knows he is more than "ok" . You talk about undefeated boxers. That dont mean anything. If you continously fight the best and take a few Ls along the way that dont matter. Boxing is going down the drain because of fickle minded fans like you. As long as boxers fight the best we shouldn't criticise them and say they are bums or overhyped if they loose. Loma was outweighed. Lomachenko trained har to make the weight while Salido didn't bother trying. Lomachenko was constantly low blowed and headbutted but Lomachenko being inexperienced didn't tell the refree. The rounds were also very close and could have swung either way. The fact that Loamchenko had a man who was double his size on fight night hurt in the 12th is a testament to his skills.
aaron pryor Salido is not a mediocre fighter. He has great inside fighting skills. He is a tough savy veteran. Lomachenko absolutely schooled Walters who was knocking dudes out. He beat Rocky Martinez in incredible fashion (Martinez is okay) to claim his second world title. He absolutely schooled a talented fighter by the name of Gary Rusell Jr to claim his first world title. How can you not give the man his props. Gary Russel was touted as the next big thing but Loma literally run rings around him. Russell is probably the best at Featherweight which is a competitive weight divison. That goes to show how good Lomachenko is to have schooled someone like Russell
@@ChrisE-iy7ok Low blows don't only land on the groin, they also land on the legs and thighs. LOL. And even if Loma wasn't reacting to those low blows, you could clearly see them anyway. This should have costed Salido the fight. 30+ to 40+ low blows in boxing is unheard of.
fredstah714 why bc he miss couple low blows?!besides it’s the judges who mke decision and fight shouldn’t have been close if loma took care of business....dnt matter anyway bc soon as he step up he getting stretched!
Unknown lol 😂 damn that’s bad n embarrassing!bad enough they were low n he missed smh salido a bum!!Thanks for honesty n clarification!damn shame loma still lost n couldn’t find way to win 🤦♂️
RopeADope • your an idiot, just pointing out most fighters would be crying to the ref all night, even with those he still won judges smoke crack and fans/haters (like yourself) don't know shit
If it wasn't for the constant low blows, Loma would win, that's a fact. The thing is, if the ref doesn't call them, the judges score those punches. You can't even see from the outside of the ring, where exactly they are landing, and you see Salido punching, hear the punches, see Lomachenko bend in his body, and you score those blows. But he is hitting him in the freakin' nuts, lol! Like 50 times during the fight. The other thing is, there is a big reason why it's illegal to hit somebody in the balls, and a big part of it, is that it takes a huge toll on a fighter. Your abdominal starts hurting, your legs get all cramped up from the punches to the hip, you can't move as good, you subconsciously wait for the dirty blows every time, can't think straight, can't let your punches fly off because of that, the hands just go down in an attempt to cover the crotch. Salido is definitely one dirty, nasty piece of shit. Whatever anybody says, that's not what "Professional boxing" is about. That has nothing to do with boxing. All in all, it was Lomachenko's 2nd fight in the pros and he challenged himself against a very tough opponent. Given his current experience at the time, not saying this would be a breeze for Lomachenko, but at the end of the day he should of and would of been victorious if it wasn't for the totally blind judge. Specially, considering that at the end of the fight we clearly saw that Loma was emerging on top, just didn't have enough time to finish off that dirty prick.
I am Mexican and I feel embarrassed when Salido thought that he won and just celebrated, Who ever got eyes can see clearly that Lomachenko won the fight.. I don’t know WTF was wrong with the judges and the referee... I even hesitated if Salido is Mexican, because we Mexicans recognize when we lose and if Salido want to prove that he is Mexican he better give Lomachenko the rematch otherwise, Salido will never be recognized as a real Mexican boxer..
I am sure that this decision wasn't about Salido. It was not to allow some Ukrainian guy become the fastest to get the Champion's belt. He would've come into history. I suppose this place is reserved for some American guy.
@@bigl3242 I mean obviously there's racist whites but saying shit like white hype is also racist. Boxers are boxers there's good white boxers and there's good black boxers, it has nothing to do with "white hype" or "black hype" it has to do with training and determination. I personally think this fight was a robbery because of the crazy amount low blows and Loma's superiority in the later rounds but in retrospect it won't matter, if Loma is truly as great as we think he is then he'll continue to win other fights like he has since this one.
Jeff Powhida the greats find a way to win especially these small issues...not saying it’s not true but for the hype on loma he was supposed to ko salido bottom Lime
@Billy Cain "It was his second fight"... oh so now you forgot about his 396 amateur fights that everybody blows him for huh... now you gotta say shit like "it was his second fight", what are you trying to say? that he was unexperienced? LOL go cry in a corner
@Billy Cain you are a moron... Anyways why did loma never rematched salido then? Why didnt they give salido the 1mil he asked for? Im telling yall only you loma man fans think loma won, but in case your forgot, winning the most rounds wins you the fight, not how yoy finish it... Even the commentators had salido up so you r just salty
@Billy Cain If Salido lost that would be in his record, but he won and that's how this will stay in history and records, so deluded is actually you! Salido isn't some kind of illuminati boss - When he lost he lost and no ref or judge ever tried to change that, so I have no fucking idea why against Lomachenko some one would make him winner if he lost. Perhaps everyone just hates Loma lol! In other words, stop being dumb.
this fight makes me mad lol, he even hit Loma on the knee one time right in Cole's face... plus he landed more and cleaner shots, how tf did he lose? this was 100% fixed
Salido is fucking bullshit. If he's winner as you said, why didn't he agree for a rematch? And, by the way, why Salido lost his title after the fight??? You're just silly.
OMG Salido did every dirty move in the book to beat 1-0 fighter !! if the referee understand anything about boxing he would take at least 3 point from Salido in this fight!
@Jason Voorhees Loma is a warrior and a tactical genius is the ring and I think you hate him because he reflects to you that you have none of those traits
Somebody in the underworld had a lot of money riding on Solido. Loma was clearly the winner. The judges had to make sure their kidnapped loved ones were returned in one piece. Boxing is corrupt beyond repair..
@@kasheemsmith6239 Pressure? You HAVE to be kidding me. Fastest to the title in three divisions. Easily won this fight, despite 37 low blows (counted later by Ring Magazine) without a single point being taken from Salido. If the referee didn't ALLOW Salido to waste most of the 12th round, he was going down.
@@kasheemsmith6239 He also had to win the fights, which he did. Loma is one of the best boxers on the planet right now. His footwork, balance, movement, conditioning, and chin are all amazing, even if he doesn't have devastating power above 130. Look at the Linares fight...he was barely sweating in the 10th. Give him the credit he deserves.
pretty cool that yours is the first blind comment. Loma missed so many of those flurries he usually scores with on other boxers throughout the fight. Except for round 12 ofcourse.
@Sean P. You're the epitome of the people who say I cant be racist I'm brown/black, whatever your ignorant ass is I'm sure you're too stupid to realize what you said makes you sound like a closet racist.
@@deevzrivera If you dont understand that calling someone a "whitehype"chenko fan has racial undertones you might be just as ignorant as him. The fact that you're asking what was racist about what he said says a lot about you. Has nothing to do with "feelings bruh". It has everything to do with letting a dumbass know how ignorant their statement was, you're probably too ignorant to know the racial stereotype you fall into when saying dumbshit like that "bruh".
Without a doubt the worst referring I've ever seen. Takes his 40+ hit below the belt (maybe the 12th round), another in a long series of desperate illegal clinches and the 'referee' warns him about using his head. The most disgusting job in the ring from a ref and a boxer (Salido) I've ever witnessed. And to you anti 'pink' arseholes below.....try taking nearly 50 punches below the belt from a pro boxer over 12 rounds and get back to me about how you boxed the best you've done before. Loma was clearly having to protect/adjust himself from the constant low blows, compromising his ability.
When Mikey Garcia boxed with Solido. Salido did not hit below the belt. Because he knew, the referee is desquicating. And here everything was bought. What lomochenko did not make the outcome was one. Victory of Salido. Izvenite for bad English I'm from Ukraine.
I will not justify Lomochenko, and how you say "cry." But the fact ostoetsya fact. Solido in this fight has won. But as always in your America, you win money. I do not argue, gotido. But only because he struck below the belt. The maximum of mischief. This is a good lesson for Lomochenko. On this I want to conclude this topic. Fight Rigonde and Lomochenko will show what is my favorite fighter. Good luck, friend
I was not happy when Loma lost to this dirty fighter but I was glad that he learned the lesson of being a PRO BOXER this early on in his career. Because he could only grow from there and reach his full potential and unleash the greatness within him. And this fight proved to be just that.
@@kooroshrostami27 In this case I reckon the ref woulda taken a point from Loma if he fouled back. This was political. Even still, Loma is all class and respects boxing too much to foul an opponent no matter how dirty.
@@Animefightforum I am not even sure it was political. Lawrence Cole is widely regarded as the worst ref of all time he doesn't know shit about boxing. Why they still hire him idk. But based on what I saw from other fights with this ref I could honestly imagine he didnd't know those things were fouls. All I know is Loma learned from this experience and now he retaliates when things like this happens. Fighters have a tendency to foul after they get frustrated by Loma's dominance. Rigondeaux did, Campbell wrestled him to the ground when he was hurt to buy himself time. What I would do is I would intentionally buckle everytime I got low blowed so the ref pays attention to it and I would have my corner complain in between rounds and also hit back low the same way, leaning forward and see how the ref reacts. There is no way in hell Salido could have won that fights without the 50 low blows. In fact I still think Loma won more rounds even if you counted all those low blows as clean body punches.
Everyone talks about the low blows. But an important thing too is that Loma almost knocked him out in the 12th, salido was holding on to survive. The more damage was done by loma. Bad decision.
@@Neopremium Did YOU watch the fight? Hahaha only dumbasses think loma won. Oh wait are you a dumbass?? I mean than i would understand. Salido's bitch 👍
The fact that loma was beating the hell out of him in that last round makes this hilarious 😂😂. He was literally holding on for fear life after throwing a million low blows and then gets the win . Gotta love the poop show that is boxing man
salido didn't want to fight, he knew lomachenko was miles ahead of him skill wise, more low blows than i can count and initiated the clinch every chance he could.
and salido was brought to this fight to lose, he was an old man, never anything special. lomachenko should have won despite the circumstances but he failed. guys like gamboa and mikey garcia handled salido's cheating old ass easily...
es last i don't say he beats lomachenko and i don't say lomachenko beats garcia. it's hard to tell. lomachenko is highly skilled and very athletic which makes him look flashier than garcia. garcia on the other hand is highly skilled with a ton of power but is 100% a pure technician which makes him look ordinary (since he only uses ordinary punches like left hand, straight right. left jab, right uppercut, etc.). one is flashy the other is a pure technician. not only that but garcia probably has the weight advantage. against a technician loma won't be able to use as many angles when he has someone that routinely uses the jab like garcia. example: loma tries to get at an angle but since garcia uses the touch jab so frequently, it will be harder for loma to get at an angle that garcia isn't expecting because garcia's jab will let him know where loma is at all times. hard fight to predict imo
Because in Ukraines amateur boxing they have a different mentality you don't complain and show drama when getting fault you leave it for the officials to do their job. He learned in this fight that pro game is different you have to complain when fouled and if the referee doesn't help you you have to foul back at least
Watching this and also the highlights of the Ramirez fight, it's insane to see how much Lomachenko has progressed in a few fights, he already was excellent in these, a little too amateur in his style though but nowadays he's a complete fighter, a real pro prize fighter, with the meanness of one.
Charly loma has improve a lot he doesn't take punches is monster his movement is second to none he pick you apart slowly and when you realize you are beaten into the corner thinking if it's worthy to come out an fight, that's how much his game has improve massively since he lose to Salido
First time I watched this. I am a neutral and was watching to see some Gilermo and Lomachenko fights. Even if this fight was even in terms of rounds Salido should have had at least 2 points for low punches and 1 for holding.
Salido showed that no boxing style is invincible, it was the body shots that ultimately gave him the victory. I only read whining from Lomaschenko fans, they may not know boxing.
'Lomachenko doesn't like it to the body' - This is my first time watching the fight and Mayweather was onto something Eastern European fighters are honestly phenomenal in terms of skill but hate body shots
Try and focus on that 17-3 record. Nobody really cares how much work you put in in the amateur ranks if you weren’t fighting other prospects that were considered next up.
@@SergyMilitaryRankings out of those 397 fights, how many of those opponents future prospects or hall of famers? Stop reaching. It’s amateur boxing for a reason, because there’s levels

You ca also pull up a low blow counter with ease that will show each low blow in slow motion so how the hell can you sit here and believe there was only 1 low blow?
Wow, this fight wasn’t fixed at all was it. Apparently Salido’s camp paid off the ref and the judges. Love the commentators too, they really tear into the ref towards the end. The look on ‘chenko’s face was exactly what I was feeling. WTF? He really needed the knockout in the late rounds, even though he should have been way up on the score cards by the 10th.

Matches like this is what turned me off boxing some years ago, its gotten better lately but still this 12th round is just mind boggling. Even the commentators are going OMG. Salido keeps grabbing arms and loma gets a warning for a headbutt wtf? Then Salido throws 3 lowblows in a row and nuthin. mannerz plx!
Salido was afraid that he would not win the fight honestly, although he was also a world champion with 41 fights in the pros, and before him was Vasily Lomachenkos 1 fight in the pro. Salido did not win, he stamped 49 blows below the belt and other dirty tricks, he had to be disqualified and was almost knocked out in the 12th round. He did not make weight, and he had to give up his belt and came in at 19 pounds for weight. They were in different weight categories, but Loma still won. Low shocks are not taken into account.
@@subsforpizza-gf4vm yeah salido still was better. I remember watching the fight and Loma was underwhelming until the end and off course he got better as the fight went on
Robbed! I hope this referee has been fired. He cannot work in a professional league because he is not professional. Too much low blow and no one of them has been counted. And the nicest thing is that Salido goes around claiming he is the winner also in the various interview, he is not a serious sportman.
This was a disgusting fight. I hate manufactured fighters and will always root for an underdog but this was a classless performance by a dirty fighter. The ref was appalling, truly next to useless in protecting the fighter on the receiving end, or enforcing the rules of the sport. It was a learning curve for Loma and he has developed into a superb champion since but I would love to see a rematch just to see the record set straight.
Can someone explain to me how Salido was able.to fight without making weight and actually win while landing a ridiculous amount of low blows? This is an honest question. Thanks!
Salido was forced to vacate the title for missing weight. So the title is on the line only for Lomachenko. Loma wins = Loma wins the title. Salido wins = wins the match but no the title
Loma was low blowd over 20 times and dude missed weight by over 10 pounds and even still loma out boxed him lol. Plus once loma really started to box he was clowning Lopez lol.
The low blows were obvious, but not devastating. They looked like taps except for like 3 of them. I think the holding at the end should of cost Salido a point. The ref wouldn’t even try n break them up. That ref must hate Russians or something. He definitely should not be able to be a referee anymore
Like many referees who would backed their man, he was blind to 60 plus low blows Salido threw. Loma was fighting on foreign soil so he had to win convincingly or he would not win at all. The split points decision: Judges Levi Martinez 115-113 Lomachenko, Judge Jack Reiss 116-112 Salido and Judge Oren Shellenberger 115-113 Salido. Imagine if the Judge had deducted just 4 points from the 60 plus low blows, Loma would had won. But credit to Salido, this fight prepared Loma to be the dominant fighter he is today in any weight division he chooses to fight in. I'm putting the link on the number of low blows thrown that night so people know the context on how Loma lost that night. He never complained about the loss like what we've witnessed happened to some boxers. This is Loma's story. Link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KdxdcQbyhok.html
Wow! I know loma fought like 300 times as an amateur but... He fought a super filthy (hahaha) experienced Siri salido and he managed him very well, here you can tell how good loma is and how much he evolved from this fight to now
How in the hell did Cole miss the 15 low blows I counted in the highlight of this fight. Outragous injustice done here. Cole should never ref a pro fight again
Loma one of my favs. But i need for everyone over here to go to the mayweather vs maidana fight and show the same energy. Let's go, cheaters are cheaters
@Sean P. You mean dirty fighter Salido ducked Loma with every excuse he could cause he knew even if he didn't get lucky he would've lost to Loma. Salido couldnt get a better deal cause Salido did jack shit to raise his stock. Loma's promotion's fault that Salido is a bum.
Vittorio Fabregas all loma had to do was trade purses with salido to get the rematch. Loma didn’t want to. He ducked the fight. If your house is worth 1 mil, why sell it for anything less? Truth is, arum and loma wanted no part of salido. They couldn’t risk him being the next Juan ma lopez.
