I. Can. Not. Stop. LAUGHING!!!! I've been a Celtic fan since my folks moved to Boston in 1966, when I was 11 years old. I grew up listening to Johnny Most on my tiny transistor radio at night. Since I was young and a Celtic fan, I didn't care that Most was such a homer; it added to my enjoyment of the games. Now, listening to his bombastic excoriation of other teams' play and players, it's so funny I'm going to surf around here and find more Most to listen to and laugh at. I don't really like homer broadcasters now that I'm a grownup. I used to get embarrassed for Brooks Robinson when I heard him on the Orioles TV broadcasts when I lived in Baltimore. He was such a homer (and had a right to be, in a way) that he would squeal like a little girl when the O's hit a home run! But Most, with his over-the-top vilifications, takes homerism to a much higher level.

WE FANS don't want "fair and balanced" when it comes to OUR team, on local radio, playing in the homes of OUR market. WE FANS want to ROOT for our team, not come away enlightened by some dissection and analysis based on an objective review of the play. IT'S A GAME!!
