Thank god I'm not the only one to think that! The first time I watched one of these making of videos I couldn't believe I didn't remember her being this hot back when I used to play MK3 LOL
Fun fact: they used a blue screen in the original Mortal Kombat, making it so the guy who portrayed scorpion, subzero and reptile, had to wear a red ninja outfit that would be colored later in production. This resulted in a glitch that makes them appear red in the game. The idea of a red ninja for Ermac came from this.
The first Mortal Kombat consisted of: Johnny Cage - Daniel Pesina. Kano - Richard Divizio. Liu Kang - Ho Sung Pak. Raiden - Carlos Pesina (voiced by Jon Hey) Scorpion - Daniel Pesina (voiced by Ed Boon) Sonya - Elizabeth Malecki (voiced by Peg Burr) Sub-Zero - Daniel Pesina.
Para tu información, el elenco si eran peleadores y peleadoras profesionales de MMA en la vida real. Porque para hacer ciertos movimientos solo un profesional certificado puede, sin lastimarse.
@@WeibeSonnethey weren't professional wrestlers or MMA fighters, but most of them were Black Belts in Martial Arts. Most of the cast were aspiring actors and or stuntmen.
@@elvondrago96"The cast was MMA figthers in real life. Because only a real professional can make this moves without hurt himself." That what he said in spanish.
Fun fact. Cuz they were limited with the actors they had. Alot of the existing actors n actress took on more than one role. The guy who does nightwolf also does Cryax, sector n smoke. While the guy who does subzero he does all the male ninjas from Scorpion, reptile, rain, ermac, noob, human smoke, and classic sub zero. N the actor who does kano also does Shao khan while Steven Richie did the voice. Back in MK. Ho san pak who does Liu kang also did motion for Shang tsung there are pics of him in the old man shang tsung costume. While the actor who did Johnny cage in the first game also did Scorpion, subzero, and Reptile. He even continued to do so in Mk2.
@@lajeandom. Live yea but in Ultimate and Trilogy it was John Turk playing them characters. Shao Kahn’s body wasn’t Richard Davizio but Brian Glenn I think his name was.
It was the same for all of the male ninjas n cyborg Lin kuei. The guy who did nightwolf is also the same guy who does cyrax, sector n smoke. While the guy who did sub zero did all the male ninjas. The actor who did Kano also did Shao Kahn while Steven Richie did the Voice.
@@jinzo637Steve Ritchie is the voice of Shao Kahn yeah, but it was Brian Glynn who portrayed Shao Kahn. Richard Divizio portrayed Kano, but also Kabal, Baraka and Quan Chi. He also portrayed Shang Tsung in MK Mythologies.
We know and the actress who plays Kitana is Becky Gable and she plays Jade and Milena. John Turk is Sub Zero and Shang Tsung as well as Erma, Reptile, Smoke, Noob, Masked Sub Zero and Scorpion. Sal Davita is Nightworlf, Cyrax, Sector and Smoke. Richard Davizeo is Kano and Kabal.
@MikeLaRock88 lol, not even close my friend plenty of modern games lean heavily on pixle spritework with modern 3d modles. Shit those are literally my favorite types of games
@@MikeLaRock88 a few similar that I enjoy currently are ANNO: Mutationem , SELACO, and octopath traveler 2. But there's a bit out there especially on steam.
MK3 sonya was so hot. By far the best soyna to date. I miss the backgrounds of MK3 Levels. Mk3/UMK3 were the best MK games of my childhood. Miss those days
I wish the announcer Steve Ritchie i think is what his name was in Mortal Kombat trilogy but I guess he probably can’t do the voice anymore but i wish he could
@@IAmAnHorse 😂 polite and to the point! This is the actors backstage for the digitisation process. They were scanned into the game. What you see ended up in the game so it literally is Sonya. The actors are wearing red so the colour can later be changed for the game. It's no longer used in games so it may be new to the OP. Your reply did make me chuckle though 😂
All these actors are super rich for life, because of their residues off all those damn MK games... And so is their kids and grandkids and great great great great grandkids!
Something scary about the first 3 games. I wish they still used some of this in the development of the new games. So awesome. Really puts a unique touch on it
The upgrade to the uniforms was so hype when I first saw it in the arcades. I went home and would draw the characters in the middle of class when I was a kid 😊
I remember watching the full behind the scenes video and being so blown away by something as small as Sonya raising her arm when she's posing. It's the moment that completes the image that you remember from long ago. When her arm is down you're like "Oh wow, it's just like in the game" but then she raises the arm and you're like "OH WAIT NO THAT'S THE GAME LOADING SCREEN POSE WOW AMAZING"
So much childhood memories. I've looking for this mortal combat to play. Thank God I kept my jailbroken ps4. I just found out I can play super Nintendo games on it, just saw the tutorials. So happy 😊 Mortal kombat is so unique. The characters all have different animations and signature. The graphics was amazing.
For those who never played the arcade original: this was an absolutely unique experience-much more intimidating, exciting and immersive than playing on a modern device. We'd never seen graphics like that before. We spent fortunes on it. You can't replicate the experience now much as the tech has improved.
The original Mortal Kombat 1,2 and 3 where the computer games i spent most time on in my life. I remember spending so much money on gamesmaster magazine just to see the latest updates for mortal Kombat 2 and 3 to see what new characters were in the game and new stuff. It's always has been the most coolest game, when are they going to put these classics on the ps5 on a disc without having to download them.
