Max deserves to be as popular as Mark Wiens, Mikey Chen (Strictly Dumpling), The Food Ranger, and Sonny (TBEFRS). I mean the quality of content, his personality, and the way he describes food shows his passion. He's on par with them. Heck, even his spice tolerance compares to Mark Wiens and Mikey lol. I hope his channel gains more popularity and success in the future.
Damn it! I just got back from Bali and stayed in Sanur and Seminyak. How did I miss the Nasi Campur (mixed rice) from such a great warung in Sanur. Hey brother, if you can slow down on showing the names of places or put them in comments section, that would be very cool.

We stayed in Sanur before going to Nusa Penida and Mak Beng was highly recommended!!! We ate dinner, and another one for breakfast before hopping on a boat to Nusa P. As always, your videos are giving a serious hit in the nostalgia room hahaha! 🙌
If you’re still in Bali, I very strongly recommend you to go eat at Kaum in Seminyak. Kaum is the Indonesian restaurant at Potato Head Beach Club. I know that it sounds like the last place you would ever think of when looking for authentic Indonesian food, but it is absolutely anything but that. Kaum is one of the best Indonesian restaurants in all of Bali and specialises in dishes from almost every single region across Indonesia. Imagine all the different sambals you can find there! Not to mention, they’ve got incredibly unique and traditional cocktails made with exotic fruits. Please go to Kaum at Potato Head before you leave Bali. It is one of the few restaurants whose flavours and authenticity to traditional Indonesian cooking I can attest to as a Balinese.
Also try having dinner at Bambu in Seminyak as well as Nusantara by Locavore and Hujan Locale in Ubud if you feel like splurging a little ;) For some more street food fair, definitely hit up Babi Guling Pak Dobil in Nusa Dua as well as Warung Wardani (They’ve got a branch in Denpasar and one nearby Ngurah Rai Airport) and Nasi Ayam Kedewatan Ibu Mangku in Ubud.

So which do you like better, sunrise or sunset? The nasi campur looked really scrummy! I must admit when last I had this dish ages ago, it was in Manila (and it was a vegetarian version). I envy you! Ok, do tell, was there raw blood in the lawar and were you truly up for it? :) Hold on, I don't believe I saw a leaf-wrapped tum on your plate. Did you have some? hmmm, I like to watch sunset more, but I am always up and working during sunrise. Yes, I would eat raw blood lawar. I have had other raw blood dishes before. haha I fed the pup just a little bit! Thank you, I am so happy to see this family grow!
Damn!!! Those chili in the last part is a massive serving...me, i think i can handle 1or 2 pieces/cuts of that chili...but you, you ate them all like it was nothing.😅

Okay I’m Balinese and literally will subscribe you dude and you’re ate like balinese love sambal and pork 🍽 and yeah if you visit bali again please try traditional seafoods at lebih beach or try more traditional cake or balinese vegetables food for your heath but don’t worry the taste same like another balinese food. P.p.s I’m watching this video exact 1am and congratulations you make me hungry again gosh my mouth got watery

I found Manadonese (North Sulawesi province) and Medanese (North Sumatera) food are much much suitable for my palate than Balinese food. Manadonese spicy food are some of the best for sure. The only Balinese food i really like are Balinese suckling pig, Balinese grill pork ribs, and Balinese pork satay. Btw, new subs here!
haha well I hope I did a good job making my Manadonese videos then! I agree with you though, I prefer manadonese over bali. Woku, rica, pisang goreng with sambal, tinutuan, nike goreng, I could go on and on! Oh and the seafood! Dabu-dabu....okay I will stop now haha
Oh anyway, friendly advice. There's a lot of people in Indonesia can't speak english just yet. Try to get indonesian translator for your video. there's a lot of indonesian people gonna do it for free. It will enhance your view + subs significantly.
