True look what happened to a lot of young rappers, niggas need to stack paper and quit put that money into something else, haters like to kill others, Man it's a curse, I don't believe in voodoo niggas selling souls for the Hot spot, how many rappers got killed just this year alone, just this year. The year ain't over yet,45 more days left, 2×45 is 90 , math the same all over the world, so we will see 9 moe go b4 D year over, remember D # 9 🐕 wild 🔥 still Burning.
Pimp has the best persona. I've been watching his interviews and man he's cold with them come backs. The interview he did with Hot Atlanta was the best!
Crazy part about this reply is my interview style. Mama Hustle said one day ask a person one question and they tell you everything you need to know #TrueHistory
Lmao did we come to conclusion that The Pimp was beefing with 50 at the time . Came to life when he mentioned the movies/acting (get rich die trying) and the shoes 😂😂😂 (the gunits) . RIP PIMP C
The stay up there with your funny ass houses line was definitely about Rev Run. The house they lived in on that show looked weird. The inside was nice but the outside looked funny as hell the way they had those columns and carport and shit out front. The funny ass cars are the little Suzuki and Geo jeep things they used to ride around in back in the 90's. Ugly as hell
@@theweakestlink2278 this was always one of my favorite Pimp interviews. I always knew DMC had the line, "You need to go down South you need to shut yo mouth", but the only thing that threw me was this interview was around 2005 or so, and Run-DMC had been out the game. They hated on the South back in the day but it had to been somebody who was out around then. I always thought it was LL Cool J. He was the main cat who used to have his pants leg rolled up, plus I've literally heard him say he didn't rock with Southern music cuz he didn't understand it. Heard him say he ain't like Outkast at first. Plus if I'm not mistaken around 2005-2006, LL was still tryna drop solo projects and couldn't sell no more.
i love texas its people like this that talk some reall stuff that make us be proud of where we from mexicans blacks whites much luv its texas bby we run this bia
God.......I Miss this man sooooooo much😢😢😢😢😢 music aint the same anymore....no one stood up for the real ass people in this rap shit like PIMP C!!! R.I.P PIMP......UR LEGACY STILL ALIVE AND WELL
They way pimp said fck hip hop that was straight how he felt 💯%from his heart and he wasn't selling out but people close around him felt different period
I'm from New York & I've been down with Ugk since 95, 96. I always supported them even during the time with the eastcoast vs westcoast drama. I was probably one of the only eastcoast dudes that was on Southern hiphop early & I fw 8ball & mjg & Master P Ice cream man album. My big homie from Mississippi put me on to Southern hiphop way back in the day when I was locked up. He had relatives in New York & he used to be here a lot back then.
@@mssweetjamesjones83 where you been all my life my baby pimp c was the truth didn't bite his tongue 4 nothing these new rap artist got the game f***** up
"You Need To Go Down South, So You Can Shut Your Mouth" Verse Is From The Song Beats To The Rhyme By Run Dmc Which Is On The Tougher Than Leather Album(1988)....Real Talk!!!!!!!!! ~ I Love All Real Music From The East Coast, West Coast, Midwest, The Dirty South(Not That New School Wack Garbage)And Pimp C Is Telling Nothing But The 1,000,000% Truth ~ #RipPimpChad #Salute #Bless
Brandon Antonio Thank you for posting the name of that song ... I was trying to tell my brother about that but i couldn't remember which track it was! He's a big Run DMC Fan but claims he's never heard them talk shit about The South
I had a small version of this same piece and chain made because pimp is one of the main reasons I make music. From the producing aspect by killing the organ to singing them hooks and making these people feel how we doing it down in Texas mane
Loved( pimp c ) rhymes and energy.. most importantly, his direction of what he knew, what the state of hiphop had to offer in the message.. he was a really profound recording artist. As to, a stand up man, from what I could see. A really straight shooter, and would continuously expose the flaws within the industry. To which, the so called gate keepers had stood as righteous vanguards for many years. He really took it to they azz, (nowatimtalkinboutman)....RESPECT IN POWER... BIG HOMIE...MISS YOUR VIBRATIONS GREATLY....PEACE..FROM ..NEW YORK CITY TO TEXAS...
Pimp C was ahead of his time he don't get regonized as influence and as a big inspiration for the south and made a huge difference in the south he gave us pride from the south
real interview from the o.g salute ,r.i.p pimp c r.i.p mama wes just like the g.o.a.t makaveli the don, big,etc.. he spoke about the industry and the false lifestyle these dudes glorify ...
@c3748 True indeed. Alot of the realest rappers are behind the scenes or are doing something else in the Industry. There's not much room for the real artist. They dumb down alot of the music for more album sales and fame and that my friend is the biggest sell out of all. You're absolutely right.
I'm from the east coast but I've been rocking with UGK since 94. They were so different from everyone else in hiphop which is why I lived them so much. I even had some of my east coast niggas looking at me funny & laughing because one day I was bumping UGK in my car & they was like WTF is that I'm listening to & I was like I'm listening to UGK & they didn't understand southern hiphop at the time but over the years I convinced one of my homeboys to listen to UGK & he decided to listen to Ridin Dirty album by UGK & after that, he changed his mind & started taking southern rap serious. Now he's a huge UGK & OutKast fan.
I loved Pimp but NY rappers vibe has always been dope! The south is a whole different vibe and their lyrics are kindergarten type shit until this day! Dave East will take them all down in one verse in a battle today! These are facts!
pimp c always set the record straight he promoted the south in a whole other level as well as dj screw true king of the south it was never t.i that disrespectful for t.i ever to spit that youngster in the game claiming that when u have pimpc around since the 80's
