If someone told me when I was 17 that Kiss will still be playing at wearing makeup when I turn 56, I would have said noooo way. Well, Kiss proved me wrong. Still love them.
stephen geraci : When i first felt in love with them, at the time of the unforgettable SPIRIT OF ' 76 DESTROYER TOUR, i made a prediction that this explosive band, would electrify the world over the course of the next 47 YEARS. As we enter the final hurdle of their remarkable 50 year history, that will culminate with the historic FAREWELL PERFORMANCE at New York City's legendary Madison Square Garden, on Saturday night, December 2nd of this current year, it becomes quite apparent that my incredible wish, has in fact been successfully fulfilled.
@@JokersWild70 most bands have replacement members and at this point "fake Ace and peter" have been in the band longer than the real Ace and peter! They are much more talented too...
Thats totally insulting man... that wasn't Danny Devito. That was tattoo from fantasy island! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WPTXJUcnz5c.html
@@wb6162 Same thing is happening to me now lol i used to know just like 3 songs from them a week ago and now i cant stop watching/listening to all their other stuff
dw coop : The KISS ARMY will endure eternally for ever, long after the dudes have taken their final curtain call at MSG, on Saturday night, December 2nd.
Shit, scumbags!!! They should recognize the Catman and Ace!!!! That's why they are famous and the real talent and heart and soul of the original lineup!!!!
I was 10 when i have bought my first Kiss cassette, I used to draw them during school lessons. My first Rock love affair. Now i m 53. Thank you Kiss for all the fun.
Yo también conservo mis DISCOS ORIGINALES DE ACETATO de KISS DINASTY LICK IT UP ANIMALIZE!!!!!!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lb28R3BoEOs.html 🐈🤗
I’m 20 years old (21 in April 2019) and I grew up listening to KISS with my dad who has the biggest KISS collection I’ve ever seen. I just bought him a record player and we were playing all his old kiss vinyl records for hours. My great aunt just bought us tickets for this concert and my dad and I are extremely excited to see the concert
I raised my kids on the classics. KISS, AC/DC, Van Halen, etc. She values my CD collection more than almost anything else she owns. In 2019, my oldest daughter bought tickets for this concert (Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX) for me for Fathers Day. Then COVID hit and the concert was postponed for a year. On October 1st, 2021, my (then 20 year old) daughter and I finally got to go. It was one of the best moments of my life. So fun. Great show. She and I will never forget it.
@@WShelby. : Instead of asking stupid questions, why don't you try experiencing the thrill at least once ? I did it 8 TIMES, and i will be present for the GRAND SENDOFF at Montreal's Bell Center on Saturday night, November 18.
Last year I was sitting at my gate in ohare waiting for my flight. I see gene simmons walking towards me. I get up, ask nicely if I can get a photo with him. It's now hanging up in my apartment. He was very nice about it.
In tje 80s my dad saw gene in an airport he had a disposable camera and asked for a pic nicely and gene was super mean to him and basically was a dick to him.
Yeah I'm 18 but I started to listen to them since I was 10, I saw gene here in houston I asked for a picture and he even spoke to me about the crazy weather out here in texas.
And btw my grandpa met michael jackson in las vegas, he saw him at the mall while they were recording the "living with michael jackson documentary" he was in the documentary and you can see when he asks michael for a hug lol.
@@leandrocesar5487 Fuck that dude too. I dont care how long he is in the band he is not Ace or Peter. Period. Those 2 guys were the most interesting persons in the band. No matter how salty Paul or Gene are about them- they made KISS - KISS. After both Ace and Peter left- kiss has been nothing more but a Vegas act. I am not the only one saying this - there is data to confirm it. The money the reunion tour made and the attention that caused speaks for itself. I know the ego of Gene and to some extent Paul can't accept the fact that Ace is beloved so much by the fans. They tried their best to discred it him and Peter in their "tell all memoirs", but Ace's solo album sold more than both Paul's and Gene's for a reason. Ace always knew what was cool in music and what riff was badass. Either you understand the cool factor or u dont. Gene spitting blood might be cool to 12 yr olds but all musicians know Ace's riffs were the killers. Gene and Paul did everything possible to get rid of Ace and Peter but when you are in the entertainment business it is also about popularity and charisma which both Paul and Gene lack. People dont like them that much. Especially Gene and the bs he is saying. Ace is a chill dude, he is cheerful and people like that. He is natural enterainer. Gene and paul are good businessmen but they cant make someone lmao even if their life depends on it. Rock and roll is about rebellion, going wild and not be comformist. Gene and Paul are everything that rock is not. They know the business side and that is not rock and roll. They are cold calculating people who do this for money not for the love of music and the replacements of Ace and Peter are just hired guns. KISS doesnt stand for anything anymore. Its like a theme ride park. They should have reitired in the 90s after the reunion.
Just came back from this concert in Albuquerque. It was fantastic! They sang and entertained for over 3 straight hours. They are at the end of the tour but it didn’t show. It felt like their first show of the tour. They were so full of energy and truly seemed to enjoy being together up there. One of my favorite concerts ever. Thanks For the KISS Goodbye. 😊
EGA : My first live KISS exposure, was at the then MOLSON CENTER in Montreal, for the Reunion Tour of the original foursome, on Saturday night, August 3rd, 1996. Exactly 2 months later, i received my official certified diploma, enducting myself as a permanent, loyally - devoted soldier, of the KISS ARMY.
Just saw them two nights ago and their show was amazing. KISS are legends and are brothers, and as brothers they have issues amongst them selves. But, Eric and Tommy have been with them for a very long time and deserve more respect than what people are showing them. I was lucky and got to see KISS 19 years ago for the farewell tour. Now the End or the Road. Both Were Amazing!! KISS is a Legend that I grew Up with and I will always love and now I can say I watched for the last time. Let them bicker amongst themselves. Dont let their personal issues taint you. I love Peter and Ace but we all knew that them coming back was never going to happen.
Hayley /LilMomyak Johnson I agree that Tommy and Eric deserve more respect. They’re great at what they do with filling Ace and Peter’s shoes, they’re humble about it, and they do their job well
You missed a lot of REALLY great bands my friend. Good news though. That's why we have You Tube. You can walk down memory lane any time you like and I do. I get out my zippy bag with all my ticket stubs and key up a great memory.
Gene was absolutely right... KISS gave the mother of all KISS shows going out with a massive bang after FIFTY years, having only just finished at MSG on Dec 2nd. Ask yourself this: what band do you know of now, or from within say the last ten years, that will still be around 50 FIFTY years from now? You don't, no such band exists and that is so sad. Rock is dead. And as someone who grew up in the 80s and 90s, Rock _was_ the greatest! And so was KISS!
I think Tommy is a better guitarist then Ace and he definitely seems like a great guy with an amazing work ethic! Hey anyone who could work in the Kiss organization as a boy Friday and work their way up to the stage deserves a real round of applause in my book. Ace is kind of a jerk too, so I don't miss him.
I was at the KISS show here in Perth on the 2nd of Sept..........Just as good as any other show, even back to 1980 !!!.........NOBODY puts on a show like KISS, NOBODY !!!............well done boys, going to miss you but I bet you will miss it more,,,,,,,Rock On..... !!!!!
I saw KISS perform a show in my hometown (Birmingham, England) about 30 years ago. They gave it 100%. A truly wonderful night. A primal chant echoed around the concert hall: Gene, Gene, Gene, Gene...
As a 13 yr old, I saw these guys for the first time back in July and it was so amazing!! I loved it so much. They were my first ever concert, I couldn’t have wished for a better one:)
How I wish I’d been picked out of that audience! I bought their first album as a young teen, I’ve been a fan since the 70’s, & have been lucky enough to go to many concerts in Australia over the years. I will always be a part of the Kiss Army
They are coming to my area in the fall , well close.. CHAROLETTE NC. and I have NEVER seen these guys before... See I have been a HUGE FAN OF THIS BAND since the 70s... I have to see this band... So fingers crossed that I get to see my favorite people in the world the last time.. bucket list... Love gene with the kids... Lol
That fan guy was just staring at Paul on the stage so starstruck. I've met Paul in person twice, first time was out of makeup and second time he was the starchild and I was in tears out of shock. For me it was like meeting the beatles in a session or something.
This is a prime example of why KISS is the greatest band in the world. These guys are all really good guys. Young artists today need to use Gene and Paul as role models. They are business men and work harder than anyone else.
As a kid in the 80s every Halloween I would dress up as Ace. Me & 3 of my friends even won a talent show at school at the last minute as Gene using carboard guitars & drums. God I miss those days. lol
"You're getting on a jet tonight, and you're going on a cruise with KISS" Don't worry about your jobs, they'll understand that you'll be gone for a week with no notice....
Adventures of Malibu and Dad : The one thing that i deeply hated about KISS, was their horrific UNMASKED ERA, which endured from 1983 to 1995. Let's face facts. Without their trademarked makeup and costume, the guys looked absolutely ridiculous. It was their highly - explosive, hard - rock sound that saved KISS from permanent extinction, in the mid 80's and early 90's. Not their extremely awful appearance. This is why when i listen to songs from that specific era like : LICK IT UP, HEAVEN'S ON FIRE, CRAZY NIGHTS, FOREVER, HIDE YOUR HEART and REASON TO LIVE for example, i always have a photo of the MASKED KISS placed in front of me, imagining that it is the make - up dudes who are performing the tunes, and not the unmasked ones.
People get older, voices change, don't expect the same tone, the same energy for 45 years, as for Ace and Peter I agree they are awesome, but we should appreciate what they give us as Kiss Fans, even without Ace and Peter, other than that I still think they are awesome!
I love the way Paul speaks he is so sweet and thoughtful always and was gifted with the voice of an Angel all members are Rock Gods to me and to millions of others 🙂
I LOVE KISS!!! My father (54 yrs old) was a fan when he was approximately like 15 yrs old and he went to a concert two times. Time flies fast and it's cool.
KISS has always been a big world known idol to most people & places and i remember very well my first Cd album i bought of their greatest hits the lady who cashed me out was talking about it and no matter of how many rock groups are mentioned KISS is always mentioned with or within somethin somehow so whenever they officially retire they'll have that "New York Groove" and "Heavens on fire" rocking out their home towns wish i could meet em' in person
Yo conservo aún unos DISCOS ORIGINALES DE ACETATO, DINASTY, LICK IT UP, ANIMALIZE y otro más!!!!!! I love them ! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lb28R3BoEOs.html 🤗👍
I have always been a KISS fan but after seeing them on Extreme Home Makeover and this show...I am in love. No other group has such a commitment to their fans. Thank you guys.
I live in Bangor Maine and my best guy friend is a HUGE Kiss Fan.he is also founder of a local grassroots nonprofit aimed at helping our local homeless population by meeting them on the street. Robert Kearns of The Peoples Streetlight Outreach is the hero and savior for so many people, fearless leader of a whole cause and devoted and much loved single father to 6 amazing kids. He is literally in the trenches and can be seen daily walking(he doesnt drive) a cart to the square with lunch setup, middle of the night after a call of a person asleep in the snow or online soliciting donations for our "Neighbors Without Walls" as he calls them, and he has NEVER said no to anyone in need. He is the kindest and most selfless man Ive ever known. He does all his work from the comfort of a 1 room efficiency he shares with his 11 year old son and one of the raddest kids around, Kyle. Bob is not great about asking for anything and receives even worse when we want to recognize him.I write to ask if he could realize a lifelong dream and get to play onstage(hes a pretty good guitar player too..and Kyle rocks the drums!) Or maybe spend time with the band when they are here this summer at Darlings Waterfront Pavilion. I know this is a longshot but I figure that for a man who is so very dear to this town and who has endured so much of his own struggles(2 years sober and killin it) but still puts on a smile and always has a kind word and love in his heart....I can try for the impossible. I plan to try until I can get an answer. He deserves it! Will you help us to honor our hometown hero? Here is the facebook link for the nonprofit...see what hes about...it is so inspirational facebook.com/groups/THEPEOPLE207/?ref=share
If I can I wanna see these guys in concert next year. Really I do. I love this band, they are iconic for rock n roll. I love this band. They are awesome and amazing
I saw their Dubai concert and it was great except for the changes they had to make! Like gene with no blood solo! But other than that they still kicked ass!!! The best!!
Hello 👋 Lena How're you doing. Thanks for this comment, I'm nothing without fans like you who appreciate my musical craftiness It's nice meeting you here.

i started listening to these dues when i was six or seven years old. i saw them live at twelve almost thirteen. i'm almost seventeen and they will always have a special place in my heart. we wanted the best and we got the best 💗
Paul Stanley looks like he’s ready to fall down,it’s not the same without Peter and Ace,saw Kiss two times in my life, was the Alive 2 tour, and the Dynasty tour, and they were amazing,it’s just not the same.
It's sad that Paul can't not let the Peter and Ace issues rest. Ace has definitely moved forward in the last 20 years. Seeing Ace and Gene together without Paul was a major revelation to many. If two original members define Kiss well Ace and Gene are amazing together. Yes we want Kiss but we also want a band thats not finding faults and bitching about members at any opportunity. Paul be brave, swap out Tommy and put the real rock star of Kiss where he belongs. The fans will love you for doing this.
The demand for Ace to rejoin for the LAST TOUR Is overwhelming. Gene / Paul Ace and Peter started it all. It would be a fitting and respectfull end to have Ace rejoin. Peter is retired but it would be the ULTIMATE RESPECT to have Peter play a few tracks on the VERY LAST SHOW. Because NOTHING WOULD HAVE COME BEFORE / NOR AFTER THE ORIGINAL FOURSOME THAT STARTED IT ALL - PERIOD !
I Just Like Paul Stanley When He Had Gone "Solo" A Good While Back & Came Out With Alot of Great Songs Like "Forever"....Awesome Voice Too!! Rock On Paul!!! 🙂🤘❤🎶🎶🎶
I used to be the biggest KISS fan ever. It’s hard to get excited anymore when they don’t release new music and play the same greatest hits tour every year.
