My best explanation of Drag Race vs Legendary is basically white shade vs Black shade. Black people just read and banter differently. We tend to add a dramatic amount of character to our delivery. Having a cast that is predominantly Black helps with this show and its rawness. Because we don't know how to act 🤣🤣🤣
@@Shyknit They are different shows. But I wasn't comparing shows overall, I was giving an explanation as to why she may have enjoyed Legendary vs Drag Race-and my thought was because of the amount of Black people on the shows. I didn't compare the show styles, production value or the types of competitions. This video showed a lot of back and forth, ratchetry delivered by a lot of Black people. Which Dee said she likes, in this video. I wasn't comparing shows, but an element that Black people add to the entertainment industry that gives a better experience for Black viewers, regardless of the type of show it is.
@@iampondkoi... Those are amazing ones. My favs are lax, la fama, and chiri. Portals on the other hand powder, nymphology, milk of the siren, and faerie soiree.
Think of Drag race as a very veeeeery hwhiteeee Caucasian from the mountain of Caucasus bastardisation and nowhere similar version of the Ballroom scene. Even though Legendary was still a very washed-down version of Ballroom, it at least was somewhat more authentic as they had actual Ballroom houses, elements, categories, figures e.t.c on there...Jamilla should NEVER have been a judge or producer for this show. With all its shortcomings and issues, HBO shouldn't have canceled this show as it was the only thing mainstream that showed what Ballroom actually entails after Drag race and their racist basic ass yt fans appropriated and bastardised Ballroom and its elements to smithereens.
4:35 other than the house of tischi in tinseltown scene (not included in this) imo this was one of the best moments of that show she did that so effortlessly...
