I mean, the season is... Ok. It's fine, but... It's hard to look past the robbery of it all. What do you guys think about season 2 of 'Legendary'? #legendary #ballroom #voguing
Law telling Tiffany to be quiet is one of the most stressful things to watch. Why ask someone to be a judge if they can’t share their opinion. If it’s ballroom to ballroom, don’t invite judges that aren’t from the scene.
Yeah the season was kinda messy. But I loved the part in the finale where Keke Palmer used her Defibrilator Flag to bring Tisci back into the competition. So glad that Tisci and Mugler both won Season 2.
Ugh imagine…. Also imagine if they ever even used those gag flags correctly this season, Lmfaoo how they get an audience back but all these mid houses….? The only houses that should’ve been on this season really was too 3 and alpha omega, every one else tbh brought meh (honestly i wanted to see more of what the house of Ada had as well but yeaaaaa)
@@casswashwash1070 they are good but I’ve met the mother several times at her shows in Weho prior to the show, and she ALWAYS was so rude to employees of the bar she hosted shows to. Like for no reason too, so I was glad to see her go :))))))))))))
The season was so weird without an audience. But besides that, the Honey drama was too much. Honey does slay and she's been killing it in ballroom for years, but she's so messy.
Law didn't have to be an asshole like that to Tiffany! He's acting like he's in ballroom more than her when he said himself that he's "ballroom adjacent" gurl bye 😂☠️
I need to see that whole judging panel bit... like what set him off on her soo badly.. i know its his "thing" to be c▪nty but that was just him straight up talking down to her.. it didnt help that having no live audience just emphasizes the tension 🤐😒💀
I agree. I feel like people that feel like they are too good to explain something are assholes. Tiffany wasnt on the early episode so she didn't understand why Law was being as asshole to Honey.as was stated by 1 of her house members. If you felt a certain about Honey's comment you could have said so, but given the house they score they deserved. Not punish the entire house for her comment
I really love the scene when the girl left the dress on the runway lol, everyone looked so bored but then everyone changed their mood within a second ahahahahahs, love that part
Also Demi felt SO OUT OF PLACE! Like she was gonna give one house a ten but quickly changed to chopping them cause Leiomy and Megan chopped them. BRING PEOPLE WHO KNOW THE ART!
@@bitsoji6981 my mom said the same thing, but yamoto have been getting alot better and revelon were going down so idk. They were so fierce at the beginning the plummeted, juicy was the opposite
The WORST part of the season was the Balenciagas being the worst of the episode 3 or 4 times and getting the superior house trophy because of additional 10 points
very true strange how he critiques their fashion when the show makes the garments albeit they have a decision on the design but if a designer/costume department isn't bringing it how can he judge them plus law is not fit to comment on talent as his is behind the scene and in closets how abt he try his luck on a fashion show so they can read him for wearing mediocre cloths and fashion.
there’s always one house that gave some of the best and most memorable house performances and did NOT deserve to go home. First it was Ninja then Tisci 🙄
Long comment warning: Ya know, I think a lot of people in the comments are starting to see what ballroom people were saying since S1. While the show has its pros, it’s also doing exactly what people said it would do. It’s not showcasing ballroom’s full potential, but rather through the lens of people who most likely don’t understand true ballroom. In all honesty, to me ballroom is too raw to be forced to fit into the reality-competition “mold”. The network has to cast the house members (according to Aja) & I think it’s to make sure some are objectively worse to fit the “filler” role in order for the show to progress. Every season needs to have a “shocking” elimination for entertainment’s sake as well having villains, underdogs & front-runners like other competition shows. I think that’s why we get a lot of outbursts from houses because a lot catch on to what’s happening and realize they’re being done dirty. It makes me speculate that houses that make it to the finale are predetermined🤔 Imagine if they let the houses pick the members to represent them?? Hardly anyone would go home which can’t happen on a show that needs to ultimately declare a winner. From a television’s perspective I get it, but ,from a ballroom perspective, it’s really disservice because viewers are missing out on some houses true talent. This show may & will be the only representation of ballroom to some people so some houses getting a shitty edit/storyline is really not fair because that’s all people are going to judge them on. Getting the opportunity to showcase your house & ballroom to the world is amazing, but it shouldn’t be at the cost that a lot of these houses are having to pay.
Totally agree on this! From season 1 every house is a power house. There's a lot of house member who is actually better than the other's or the one in the show. Houses that actually has their own international ICONS! Like Ninja's, they have ICON Javier, Cody Ninja from Japan. Ebony's have Hurricane Katrina Ebony West have Pusscee West Revlon's have Starr Not to mention how Prodigy's were stripped in s2. We could've gotten Roxxy, Inxi, Rylee and every other true talents from ballroom. It's unfortunate how people can't really see what true talent from ballroom is
Well said thank you I don’t know ball room this this gives me a a huge in site … they really did make some villains and some underdogs like THE KI KI scene rising up and the professionals falling down
S3 Law is my absolutely favorite. I feel like he really knows what he’s talking about now compared to 1 & 2. And the banter with the other judges (including Keke) is so good now. I hated the first few episodes of 3 because of how bad the routines were but this became my favorite season by the end.
@@casswashwash1070 nah Keke got him together a few times, and thank goodness. My issue with him is the fight he had for Makaveli, knowing full and well they’re flopping, only for him to do allat “amazingggggggg graceeee” mess like he wasn’t just batting for a house he knew was consistently being bad. It was giving very much “I need my moment” and he definitely got it with them
JJ yeah and the fact that he was always trying so save them when the other judges were telling him that house was ending up at the bottom since day 1. And don’t forget him favoring alpha omega just because they were hot
@@maitteld2259 mind you, Alpha Omega shouldn’t have left when they did, quite frankly the 4 best teams were Juicy, Revlon, Yamamoto, and Alpha. Makaveli was good, I would’ve rather seen LaBeija or Ada in the top 5 tho compared to Makaveli
@@babbyasmr2031 i never said face/body aren’t categories. and cause i do know lgbt history i’ll tell you: the 5 elements are the most important part, and a mother, as the biggest representative of the house, must know those 5 elements or at least be a pro in some
@@aurora5194 well she clearly knows them, she just can’t perform them well. Not everyone is gifted to dance regardless of how easy you think it may seem it’s actually far from it. It’s just not her strong suit and she can’t become a voguing icon within a week realistically.
I never understood the issue with the scores Tiffany Haddish gave. Don't let guest judges give scores if you going to bitch and moan about the score they give. They are only there for a day and don't know the history of the perfermers perfomences anyway. I don't think guest scores should count for the final out come anyway.
It's ironic how one episode before Law critique Honey for being "rude" with the designer but later shut up Tiff like she was not a guest and deserve respect.
Literally at the finale the judges were like “Miyake Mugler we didn’t see you coming this far” when their scores were three 10s and a 7 their first week.
All their performances were good The judging on them made me suck especially when malik kicked icons azz and the judges acted like they didn't deserve it. It was bullshit
U forgot when house of Tisci performed the army & soon as they started Leiomy was like “yessss already!” 😂😂 that part had me DYING ! Love the video tho!
Why’d law come at Tiffany like that inside of just explaining what happened like she didn’t get it caz she wasn’t there when the shoe comment was made,he need to get off his high horse frfr😭
Law has really gotten on my nerves these past 2 seasons, especially when he wouldn’t let Tiffany talk even though she is a judge and even though I don’t like balenciaga a 7 because someone called their shoes ugly? And don’t get me started on the constant “this is ballroom” whenever someone yells/gets mad
She's chopping everyone just like what Law did on the E2 of S1. I believe she deserved to be sushed 'cause she's having her audacity to chop everyone like? Gurl you don't know ballroom. However, I don't think Law have to shush her. He's also chopping everyone last season so it's ironic for him to act like that.
I feel like Law in this season was really catty. He always has that persona, but his critiques this season didn’t seem structured. It wasn’t constructive criticism, it was just criticism a lot of the time
Doing your absolute best and having the carpet pulled out from under your feet will forever be known as “Getting Tiscied” “They fired me even though I made 130K commission for them.” “You got Tiscied.”
I'm sad that I can only see clips like this on RU-vid since HBOMax didn't renew the show and then completely took it off like it never existed. I can't even go back and watch any episodes. So sad!!!!
This is just reminding me why I'm so glad they got rid of Meg and replaced her with Keke. Keke actually gives quality critics and doesn't just repeat what everyone else says
I agree. Keke actually breaks it down on why she gave them that score, then she always something positive and not saying “bitch” every 2 sentences. Seems like she tried to at least learn ballroom rules and protocol. Coz it seems like the real score comes from Leiomy, everyone else are just fillers.
Keke treat the houses way better than Megan did, specially the way she was so unprofessional with the Tiscis calling Simone a bitch when Simone was right
Season 1 was the best .. I’m new to understanding ballroom culture and vogue but this season I felt the judges gave a lot of sympathy votes. How did House of balenciaga fall in the first performance and still get scored 10s .
If this ever got renewed for season 4, please let the Houses cast their strongest members. It makes great tv show if everyone is raw and super good. I wanna see it like All Stars 7 of Drag Race. Praise them, be real with them at their highest as well, that would make great tv.
@@buihuy5211 You know in anything on the lgbtq program competitions there can only be one legendary would have been competing with drag race and people couldn't have that. Legendary represents for everyone where RuPaul does not so there's that.
@@brycegoddard5547 I agree. He's a big boy but they were literally babysitting him. He's falling and being sloppy on most performance and the judges never called him out for that.
idk.. garçons had better performances through the season honestly. but with oriccis, their last performance was messy asf, they always looked nervous and shaky
all of their faces in the back when jameela said "everyone else in this competition is sooo fucked" is just priceless. Tisci was the best that season hands down and had they not worn them ugly ass shoes that got them sent to the bottom that day the other houses would've been assed out omm
I need y’all help. I’m pretty sure it was balenciaga but during a performance one of the dancers shows falls off and the house mother kicks it out the way. Do y’all remember what performances that was?
