A lot of custom knives do the same thing with the edge when a sharpening choil isn’t used. From a practical stance just pull the blade back when you reach the end of the edge if you overrun a choil you get hung up. It’s also for looks too.

Maybe i saw it wrong, but basically there is no sharpening choil, but thats not uncommon. Its just one of the ways. Edit- nope, you are right. They left it unsharpened, that is fucking crazy

Its really hard to see but go to the part of the video where I show it. Theres like a CM of blade thats dull, not ground at all.
