@@ethand.3260oh man, you should check the devs on r/psvr. His explanation is: we work hard, we in Korea, we small team, we no time to add stuff, give money, we active in discussions, give 80 cad, thanks.
@@ethand.3260honestly the amount of hours of natural gameplay, not like sitting in a sandbox testing the physics and shit but REAL normal video game gameplay in this game fully justifies it for me, I’ve bought so many 60$ games that just have a 12 hour story mode and you could easily clock 60 hours into one campaign play through of this game, and I’d even play it through again because of the loot system having so many legendary relic items and different builds you can do
I think having the atomic mirror brains at some inexplicable moment in the middle of the video was what made them such an iconic part of the channel. Saving them for the end kind of just relegates them to "obligatory patreon readout"
Its damn near lore at this point. "Sorry to everyone new here" and a time code just....makes the vid That and Habbie is such a kind spirit it was refreshing to hear names in the middle not the end, more personal
There was something really nice about being acknowledged as a random internet stranger. Made me feel warm and fuzzy, good luck with the rest of YOUR being alive too!
That song that makes you question life is called Hide (CS01 version) by Dorian Concept If anyone was pondering that here you go and for the people who werent, here you do anyways
You can thank Sony Korea for supporting this game and finally getting it out of early access. And it’s awesome! Best game on PSVR 2, imo (popular opinion). It’s basically Diablo in VR and I put 17 hours into it the first 2 days. If not for a 55-mph car crash into a Georgia pine and a cool new scar on my head, I’d probably have over a hundred hours into it by now. Can’t wait to start making Let’s Plays for it! Hope you end up streaming it, Habie! I went battle mage for my first character and it’s been a blast.
So far a bit further in, not too far ahead, but I can confirm there's at least one other real boss at the end of the second dungeon, and at least 2 more dungeons after that before I hit a "gotta complete story before going here" point that doesn't connect to the big Dracula castle, so I'm guessing at least two more. Also, those dungeons are enormous. Between combat and exploration I'd guess 1.5 hours or more per.
There is a “boss boss” at the end Of the game, but it take a little while to get there. Its a Big orc-like thing with a very easy to learn attack pattern… i dont know i remember correctly, but he had around 2000 hp. I dont know if this is useless information, but it sounded like you did not know that there was a “boss boss” when you were talkin about the skeleton bosses so just wanted to let you know
That song that played breifly is by Dorian Concepts and is called Hide. Was originally a jam he did a few years ago, he recently turned it into a whole track.
I love this game! I remember I played the beta with a bunch of people and even with some of the devs. there's also a reference to something me and 3 others did in the game, if you go to the camp and look a t the board with the puppet, in the bottom left there is a poster about 3 adventures bringing a skeleton to town, that was me and 2 others. We had found a glitch where if an enemy kneels down and you pick them up, it tied it to your character, and when you went into a portal it brought it with you to town, I used to have the picture we sent to the devs when we found out you could do this and might be able to find it if I tried.
Long time watcher, first time writer. You should try Asgard's Wrath 2 if you want a fully fleshed out openworld rpg in vr. In the lead up to its release I kinda didnt care much for it, figured it looked meh but after getting it for free with my headset upgrade and playing it its definitely my vr GOTY. Its exactly the thing you always say you want, basically its god of war and skyrim mashed up and built from the ground up for vr with a massive budget, open world, progression, story and everything you say you miss in vr games. Hate being a meta simp but a fair chunk of the exclusives released around the quest 3's launch are actually amazing fleshed out, full games like we've all been waiting for all this time (The Assassins Creed game is another big standout for me personally)
Been playing this with my friends, it’s really fun. I guess my battle royale smooth brain likes the loot aspect of the game where it’s entirely up to chance to get something from a common dagger to a legendary katana. And completing main quests gives you really good stuff. To me, this is already an amazing game and has potential to be even greater. It got a 2.1gb update yesterday that I haven’t tried yet but it looks like they’re HOPEFULLY going to keep up with this game
The funniest thing is that there are several Bio Engineering firms (mainly Colossal) trying to bring mammoths back from extinction... So that notification thing might be true in about 10 years
So happy with the big update. It can be hard to block those lower swings though, so annoying! Especially doing a "monk" build focused around unarmed fighting.
We made a game with voice acting and animation stuff (space salvage) it was surprisingly hard to get it all in and syncing with the subtitles ect. I think we will do it again but damn, I get why teams don't.
i feel like a gambling addict when i talk about crystal hunt to my family. "i'm so exited it's definitely gonna happen soon, any day now" i think they might be worried. can't wait till crystal hunt comes out
On the topic of Dark Fantasy from the 70s, I highly recommend the works of Michael Moorcock, the Father of the Multiverse. Namely "Elric of Melnibone".
FYI the main reason there will be no audio yet is because they are still working on the content that even needs to be read out. So while they're still creating the content and audio lines it would be highly wasteful to create audio for lines that might change. Final audio will come at the end after content is complete. In saying that, AI audio is pretty good and cost effective and could be used as a placeholder for now.
cant tell if he got a new editor or just got better at making videos, either way content just keeps getting better (not to say it was ever bad, bros been making quality for a while)
wtf. i only just now after habie said that that rpg is both rocket propelled grenade and role playing game. my brain never connected that they have the same acronym
You should really check out this vr game called Night Club simulator. It’s 6$ but definitely worth it and more. It’s like a vr gta/postal with this very odd communication towards npcs using hand movements. It’s very good
You'd be surprised how hard it is to find a cheap, reliable, good (or even decent) voice actor. And then, you have to like, talk to them and direct them, and ask them to do it again, when they mess up, or you can hear a car in the background, and that's all time you could spend coding, and making models, and not talking to other humans.
I downloaded this with the new patch...and I'm not gonna lie...I'm a bit hooked. I haven't gone far. That boss mopped the floor with me so I grinded to Level 7 and made a level 7 weapons..but haven't gone back to him. Wanting to wait until I'm 10. So, I just kill everything except him...then relog...repeat.
