Personally I'm not against the idea of Venus De Milo as a character, and would be very curious to see how the new series could update her as they have done wonders with obscure characters before.
Supposedly they had a lot of storyboards for the 3rd season of Sonic SatAm already drawn up when the show got cancelled. I'd love to know what the 3rd season would have looked like.
here's a list. 1.Spider-man 4 2. Superman Lives. 3. Batman Year One live action movie. 4. Joss Whedon film Wonderwoman. 5. Batman vs Superman (2003 live action I think). 6. Deardevil Reboot movie from Fox. that's is all i can think off for now.
Doesn't Superman lives have a documentary about it's failed creation? Batman year one. Has nice concept arts on the internet and a script by Frank Miller (with all the Millerisms) But yeah these two have potential
I once heard something about a Batman movie that was going to take place during the Victorian era and that the villain was going to be Jack the Ripper.
These are the type of reviews you do that I love, pure passion on your part, not silly skits or unnecessary, convoluted, multi episode story lines. It's your love for the material that I greatly enjoy and is your greatest strength.
I got just the topic: The Gargoyles Spin Offs. Some of them were hinted at in the SLG comic series like Timedancer or made into backdoor pilot episodes, but it was only Bad Guys that made it into a comic series.
Ideas for future episodes: - Transformers Animated Season 4 - The unmade episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Silver Surfer: The Animated Series Season 2 - Batman: Triumphant (what would have been the 5th Batman movie)
I love every Erod's video that doesn't involve busting a movie. And this new format is no exception. Liked it a lot. Thumbs up, up, and away. Would love you to talk about Brad Bird's aborted "The Spirit" animated movie from the 80's.
I heard there was a script for an Xmen movie way back in the 70s. The bad guy killed people by kissing them, and he did it to Wolverine. I read it on Cracked years ago can't find anymore on that and it drives me crazy.
I know I’m gonna sound like a snob, but the movie you are describing is a culmination of two Drafts of the film, Although one was called the next mutation, the other was a movie called tmnt 4: the foot walks again
Great episode and I'd love to see more Legends of Fandom. However if it's going to work you've really got to dig deep and go obscure. One of the reasons I found this video so fascinating was that I'd never even heard of the prospect of a fourth Turtles film. Other people have requested things like Batman 5, Spider Man 4 and Superman Lives but all of these are too well known. If this is going to work you need to tell us something we haven't heard before.
Spider-Man 4, Maybe Amazing Spider-Man 3, Batman 5(I don't remember the name, I just remember it being a sequel to 'Batman and Robin' which never happened), The Superman movie with Nick Cage... That's all I have for now. Enjoyed the video a lot! It was interesting to find out more about this :)
Apparently it was never actually called Batman Triumphant, the guy who wrote it said in an interview that he had no idea where the name came form, it was always called Batman Unchained.
I heard the villain was going to be Scarecrow and in the movie Batman gets hit with the fear gas and starts seeing visions of The Joker from the first Tim Burton film. And that Jack Nicholson would reprise his role of The Joker for those vision scenes. And something about Harley Quinn being in it the movie to.
You're right about Batman, Scarecrow was gonna be the villain whilst using the fear toxin to give Batman visions of Jack Nicholson's Joker and Harley Quinn was gonna be in it as the Jokers daughter. However you were wrong about Spider-man 4. People wanted the Lizard, the Hobgoblin and Carnage in the film with Jim Carrey as Carnage. BUT that was not the movie they were gonna make. The villain was gonna be the Vulture played by John Malkovich and Bruce Campbell was gonna be revealed as Mysterio. This was all confirmed via some concept art released online.
Great episode! It was really interesting to hear about this movie that never happened. I would LOVE to see some more of these in the future! Keep up the great videos :)
You can cover the "Gatchaman" movie Imagi Studios was going to make. It got cancelled because "Astro Boy" was such a huge bomb at the box office, but with all the details I learned about it, it's a shame it never got made.
The Blockbuster Buster can you do Honest Reviews on Transformers ( the 80's cartoon not Michael Bays Transformers) and Megas XLR as well as Xiaolin Showdown and Codename Kids Next Door.
Mark Guerrero Honestly Prime is considered one of the best transformers shows for a reason. The dark tone did help to do favors and the writing was the strength of the series. Animated is also great show for the transformers franchise. So it mostly comes down to taste and which one appeals you most. Personally I love both shows unquestionally..
Mark Guerrero transformers prime took itself seriously which is because it was meant to be serious transformers prime had a better story arc then beast wars and the Michael bay movies transformers prime is one of the best transformers shows out of all. transformers animated is also one of the best transformers show as well
Mabey the 5th turtle could have worked out if possibly the 5th turtle doesn't end up joining the team and instead goes freelancer. That way there's no change to the group dynamic and the 5th turtle could still pop up every once in a while to lend a hand when things get tricky for the main 4.
turtles 4 on snes wasn't the 4th game on snes. it was 4th in the series, 1st on snes. tmnt was nes (used the 80's comic book reissue cover of #4). tmnt 2 arcade. the 3rd being manhattan project. turtles in time being the 4th, and 1st one on snes. almost better than the arcade. which would make it the 2nd, nes turtles 2 the arcade was the only one in arcades prior. that's why turtles in time and gemstone heist are so good. they're console ports of an actual arcade machine.
I Really cant wait to watch E Rods Nick Turtles Honest Review ,even thugh the series is awesome..also even though he isnt a Anime dude..GO WATCH MY HERO ACADEMIA!!
Huh. I've read rumors about a 4th TMNT Movie being planned in the 90's. I remember in Season 9 or 10 of the 87 show they introduced The Super Mutations and I hear that's where they ended up using them instead of the 4th Movie
There was supposed to be another Batman movie made by Burton and nother by Schumacher (that could have redeemed him since the script including the Scarecrow sounded good).
Recent events in the IDW TMNT comics show a fifth Turtle could work be it Slash or the groups new sister Jennika. Also I believe the Super Turtles were used in the comics first before the 2003 series.
I've heard there was a Roger Rabbit prequel in the works for a while but Disney couldn't get the rights for all the characters and franchises it needed. Supposedly they needed something from DreamWorks which never made sense to me.
Here's a movie with Sarah Michelle Gellar in it to review, "Happily Never After". It's a parody about lots of fairytales, and I want to know how you feel about it.
Don't know if this falls in as fan boy legends, But I think it would be cool to talk about the original concept for the Disney movie "Emperor's New Groove". It's original story was way different then what it turned out.
I gotta admit, I found the planned futher mutation for the 4th movie to be rather silly and was good that the 1997 show attempted that. (So if there was any praise I can give the 1997 show is that.) However the subtitle of "The Next Mutation" makes more sense here since the show didn't had any further Mutation plot. Also, Kirby sounds like a cringy OC on Watpad and the concept art looks like a edgy OC on Deviantart. Leo's ability to turn metal sounds kinda pointless and is just a gimmick. But he does have his headband over the top of his head like he would in the Next Mutation show and I hated how he looked on that series. Donatello was supposed to also have "poor eyesight" for some reason, making him wear glasses like the god-awful 2014 version. (Thanks I hate it.) Michelangelo being a human to blend in would've likely resulted to some really stupid scenes. OH and I _REALLY_ can't believe we didn't get "Evil April" with her revealing nippers. (I for some reason wonder why we wouldn't have gotten that on the screen. Trimark Pictures was supposed to make the 4th film and not New Line and was a studio that made AWFUL bargain bin direct-to-video quality movies like the first 5 Leprechaun movies, Pinocchio's Revenge, Cyborg 2, Into the Sun, The Dentist 1 & 2, A Kid In King Arthur's Court, A Kid In Aladdin's Palace, and Star Kid. This film, no doubt would've been a disaster, especially with the new outfits and designs they would have to make. And I HIGHLY doubt they would've gotten the Henson Production to come back to the series since it was a cheaper studio making it. (Example, Leprechaun 4 was the most expensive film of the series with a $3 million and that film has horrific effects while the TMNT trilogy had a $19 to $25 million budget) So it's likely the costumes would have been more along the lines of the Turtle Tunes costumes. So as you tell, I am SO glad this didn't get made with all the ideas and studio in mind. But hey, if we got The Next Mutation movie instead of the series, it would've been shorter to suffer from. 🤣
Even though the movie was eventually made, I would LOVE a video about the backstory of the Deadpool movie, because from what I've heard, IT IS FASCINATING.
As a female fan of TMNT, I liked (not loved) the live action show, bc Duh, for the concept if nothing else. I mean I get why you harp on it, it was cheesy and heavy handed with the "cram in other culture philosophy magical stuff", but that was the 90s. Mulan did the same w "honor", they just pulled off the rest of the movie better then that turtle show. "Pink Ranger Syndrome" aka "Token Female Teammate" was bad in 90s, and has only improved slightly since.
I unfortunately have nothing to add save the lost season of 'Agent Carter,' but you've already expressed your dislike for that series. I'd love to see more Legends of Fandom, though!
Supposedly before Warner Brothers decided to Reboot Batman rather than make a sequel to the Shumocker films one of the ideas they were toying around with before they finally bit the bullet was a live action Batman Beyond movie. WB probably would have fucked it up REALLY BAD, but I'd still like to know what that train wreck would have looked like.
I know anime's not your thing, but it would be cool if you covered the 1997 live action Sailor Moon film Disney was going to make. The parts that interest me the most are that it was going to be directed by the same guy who made Rumble in the Bronx and that Geena Davis was going to play Queen Beryl (the latter I find odd because they cast the villain before the hero.)
After DuckTales Legends of the Lost Lamp underpreformed Disney cancelled the 2 sequels they intended to develop. Could you uncover anything about what the plots of those movies were going to be?
How about the original scripts for Alien 3?. Some were actually interesting (like Hicks and Newt as protagonists) and others were really weird (Like Ripley finding a group of space monks living in a wooden spaceship).
