Legion - Rebel Veterans Unboxing and Review 

Can’t wait to get my hands on those, but the Clone Wars are gonna be insane. Hope you have a great time at Gen Con. I think the detachment Trooper would look cool without the tripod.

I anxiously await the Grand Army of the Republic release with the Clone Wars set. That will be my army of choice.

The Hoth aesthetic has always been my favorite. So excited for these :). I never intended to play Rebels when I first got into legion, but given that I ran demo games with the new player as Empire (Darth has an attraction i will never understand...) I just... 'fell in line'. So now I am a Rebel player, I suppose. (Also thanks for the 'zed' - my Australian ears thank you). The combination of the weapon add-on and the detachment means a 'critical: 4' which gives this combines unit some versatility - a threat to both armour and infantry (9 black and 4 white with surge to crit: 4 and to hit). They will be worth they're points ;).

I use snow drifts (made out of upside down cut out paper plates) as light cover. Moving across them; the minis would be at speed 1. They are about 8" wide so taking environmental gear would make it easier to move through them unhindered instead of going aground.

So cool, absolutely love the rebels and I’m glad to see such an iconic design come to the table!

Love the look of the miniatures. I honestly prefer the rebel faction due to them being not so official in the sense of wearing the exact same clothes/armor as the Pearson next to them!

Rebels are my preferred army, but the Clones are really pulling ahead

I was planning on playing Imperial until I they announced the Rebel Veterans and Tauntauns. Empire Strikes Back is my favorite movie of all time, especially due to Hoth.

Those reb. Veterans gunners aren't cheaper in points than regular troopers, as they cost 86 for 2 bare troopers units as oposed by rebel troopers which cost 80 for two units. That means if you want to squeze out some points than rebel troopers are still better :P

I would love to get my hands on them.

First time I'll skip a Legion release, but I need to save money for Clone Wars.

I'm Imperial all the way, even though I love rebel heroes like Luke and Han... the Imperial stuff just always wins me over.

I prefer the rebels when play legion mostly because my younger brother plays imperials. But I'm having a great time customizing and paint the rebels more then the imperials

I've collected just about everything thusfar (both factions) but for Clone Wars I may stick to Republic.

The more they release for Legion, the more I want to take the plunge...the main thing stopping me is starting another game system that I don't have time to play...and maybe the cost... :-)

I’m going to wait a bit before I buy into separatists or republic. I love the possibility of different droid units like commando droids, super battle droids, and droid gunships. But the CIS seems a little underpowered.

“Zed” is how those really weird trench coat kids in high school would say it any time they would refer to the zombie movie “world war zed” because they are douchebags but the creepy kind that no one likes.

Zed sounds like a bootlegger running from the revenuers, zee sounds like a bad actor trying to be French. I say zed because if I don't my 1st Grade teacher will apparate in front of me and hit me with a metre stick. Now I want Veterans but there's an SSD to pay for.
