LEGO Amusement Park Update! Mixer Upgrade, Train Crossing, Layout Adjustment

I’m loving the placement of the Disney castle. I do agree on getting rid of ONE coaster. I thinking about the size of your park and diversity in rides it would give you more space for a larger variety.

I really appreciate your time and dedication towards your Lego city. I have never built one before. After watching your channel for the past few months I have been inspired by your works of art to create my own custom city.

i like the idea of the water fountain in front of the castle. And I know you don't have enough space, but turning at least one of the rollercoasters to the side would be so much better - you'd have to extend it somehow.

Could you switch the placement of the fountain and the carousel? The fountain is hidden in the back and makes your walkway more challenging. It might be easier to do storytelling at the entrance of the park with the carousel moved back.

I feel like that Hogwarts's train and track should go to free up more space for the amusement park. While it looks cool, it's taking up valuable space and making you come up with all sorts of configurations just to make it fit. Another option, which i'm sure you WON'T like is to down scale the rides so more can fit appropriately. The roller coasters look waaaaay larger than some of the downtown buildings even. Just throws off the scaling.

Put the carousel up at the top corner on your platform with stairs going up to it. Disney castle in the center between the roller coasters leave room near the platform for a walkway leading to stairs with shops pushed against the cliff.

If you double the Disney Castle like you mentioned. It would then look good from a 360 angle and you could move the Ferris Wheel to that back area. All in all, everything looks great though.

Regarding "The Mixer" and conserving space... what if you built a small arcade building or group of games, food stands, etc. and put it on the roof of that structure? I'm thinking of the Astro Orbiter rockets at the Magic Kingdom that are on top of that structure, over the food stand and Tomorrowland People Mover.

You might not like this but I think you need to pick one coaster and give it some space, or even find a rebrickable model that shrinks one of them down. Because at this point the scale is massively off compared to the city buildings. I think it would look a lot better with less coasters and more landscaping and some details. The highest the coasters should go is the Ferris wheel, as those can be huge. Maybe less rides and a section that is like the giant tree at Disney world Also the Disney castle needs to be a main focus in the corner with no other buildings around it!

My 2 cents and an observation. - The scrambler cars spun in the beginning of the video then didn't when you rebuilt it. Is there a way to turn that off? - Don't put the fountain in the back. You can't see it and it wastes that feature. - Coasters are cool but they are huge. I think a rebrickable of one or both would be better to make them a little bit smaller. - Mixer would look great as a rooftop ride.

You might want to put the fountain in front of the entrance so it is more visible and put the white shops where the fountain is. It is looking great!

You could keep the Rollercoaster close to the raised platform, but rotate it 90 degrees? If the length of the Coaster fits between the traintracks on both sides, you are actually saving a lot of space. If it doesn't fit between the traintracks, you could raise the coaster a bit so the train can go between the legs of the coaster or with a longer tunnel from the raised platform and the roller coaster raised up a bit.

I really think potentially removing the super tall loop coaster would make things a lot better. It would give more space so thing don’t feel cramped and you can fill any excess space with custom models. Or just space things out and have more room for the Disney castle especially when/ if you combine it with the other one.

You should add working lights in all your buildings in your city and add lights in light poles so the lights can turn on when the room light is off and it would make it look really cool in my opinion. Just and idea. Btw love your channel it inspired me to build lego in the first place keep up the good work❤

Jurrasic Park is full of useful parenting tips. Like "We'll be okay, unless they figure out how to open doors".

You can use the mixer as one whole roof element and have one large vendor booth underneath serving various food items

I like the Disney castle at the angle on the end, I wonder if moving the Ferris wheel freed up enough space to put the Haunted Mansion ride between the coasters? Either way I think the fountain is lost back there and would look good in front of the Disney Castle

Coasters are real monsters, I hope to get the space one when it's released but not sure where I will put it. Heading to Dublin Lego store tomorrow, a happy release day to everyone !!

Here is a suggestion for the mixer. Build it on a higher platform with an elevator instead of stairs (similar to the rockets in Tomorrow Land at the Magic Kingdom). The mixer can then straddle to railroad track to help with space.

I still say that there needs to be another shelf behind the coasters that is incorporated into the amusement park and have a train station too. It could be a mixture of Universal Hollywood and Disneyland. For example, a train (Monorail) from downtown Disney to the park and the escalator connecting Universal's Citywalk athe rest of the park.

I think you should also put some steel barriers near the track infront of the Disney Castle to the crossing road so it would be "safe" for the minifigs

I wouldn't be opposed to getting rid of the Hogwart's train. I think that may be the best decision. Something has to be done. I was going to suggest moving the track so it's on the other side of the opening that you pop up out of, and sliding the tunnel's train opening down too, to make the amusement park wider (a necessity), then having it curve back to line up with the station. It's awkward right now how one of the rides (currently the haunted mansion) is on the other side of the tracks, separated from the rest of the attractions. I agree with the people who said the red and white coaster should be turned 90 degrees. I do think it's also a bit awkward for the park to be surrounded by train track in general. It's concerning for the visitor's safety since anyone could just walk right on the track and blocking it off with a wall all the way around the park would take away even more space from the park.

The Disney castle would look so good in the middle. I feel like you should design the Park layout around the Disney castle being in the middle

I would decommision one of the coasters! Once that is done then you will have more room for creativity. I do not thing the castle belongs in the back of the park it should be near the entrance. What ever you come up with will be real cool.

I think it would be neat to do some micro Disney movie sceans around base of Disney castle. Great video bricksie keep up the amazing content it's pro.

Moving the Ferris wheel was my thought yesterday. It was a good move. Any chance the train loop could be updated to have the tunnel exit moved into the plate with the drop tower so the red coaster can be turned 90 degrees? In other words, run the train around the edge of the amusement park so park guests don't need to cross track once in the park.

Suggestion: I think you should swap the positions of the Studgate station and the amusement park entrance. It would give you more space to make an entrance to the park, and a better position to end one line of the track.

You can make that upper portion connect to the lower portion then too. It would all connect up then.

I bet this will blow the kids minds when they see it all in action

I'm glad you didn't move the castle, sometimes people need a quiet place away from all the noise of the rides to recharge themselves.

Dear Bricksie, This is my first comment of a long-time viewer. When it comes to the amusement park, I think you should take some time off from Lego. Take your wife and kids to an amusement park, have a blast, and just see how a real amusement park operates. And also pay attention to the Muppets (which I grew up on in the 80's) and learn the art of single-faced walls. You don't have any viewing area from your side wall behind the amusement park, so why build the back of the castle when you don't have a back to view it from. Base the structure from the viewing angles you're showing us and more importantly, the areas that you can see. Take your time, don't rush anything based on the comments. Just be happy with what you're doing. You have all of the love from my family here in Maryland and we're all so excited for every new video you come out with! So much undying love, Dylan Chance

Just a small idea: when you have finished integrating the Disney Castle, you could build a small bridge from a tower over to the medieval area. This way the medieval area would be a part of the amusement park.

I admire that you keep working on the amusement park, but I think it’s time to scrap the whole thing and just have room to grow the city. And if you ever get a bigger space for your whole city you can expand it then with more room to make it the way you want .

I think the gate should be on a platform that spans the train tracks and has stairs and an elevator leading up to it on street and park side.

Most amusement parks have wide walkways and green on either side with plants and flowers.

Make it so the train goes through the Disney Castle since it will be custom anyway.... :o)

Hey Jordan the ue released a children's amusement park gwp that would be a great addition with the pirate and dragon amusement ride! Do kinda like a kids part of the park that would be pretty cool

I know the MILS plates for the amusement park is a pain, but look how easy it was for you to move things around to show us. I think it all looks amazing 🎉

Exterior of the buildings needs to be upgraded to be themed and why not white for stairs and loading platform instead of yellow- it would look cleaner

Make the park more like a six flags. Eliminate the castle and the haunted house. Then spread out the rides and create more green space and vendors/games. And why not remove the train that runs thru the park and add a trolley instead, that way if you run it slow enough you don't need the crossing gates.

The amusement park looks great so far. Keep making progress

Maybe if you remove the fountain from behind the carousel you can input more game/Food stands and then put water fountains around the castle. Because the fountain is pretty hidden and it's a shame because it looks so nice. But fountains surrounding the castle would make it look more spectacular, draw the eye in.

I like the Disney castle at the end of the park. I would replace the fountain behind the carousel with smaller games, concession stands or green space.

Hey Bricksie. My family loves to watch you and the kids! We saw your amusement park and love the rides. To help with space, have you ever thought of raising the Disney castle or rides above the track like you did with your midevil scene. always love your builds, keep it up.

That Merry-Go-Round is too big. It's not the same scale as the rest of the attractions. I think that's the major thing you're fighting with. If you put the MGR in the back corner or where the Haunted House is, than it might feel better. Maybe have the track go further under the raised area & go around the Haunted House area. That actually opens up a lot of possibilities. Like turning one of the Coasters 90°. I know, too many ideas. I wish there was a digital layout program.

Disney Castle needs to go to the upper portion overlooking the park. It goes with the mid evil theme, looks great elevated, and frees up so much space for the actual rides.

Wouldn't it be better to have the gifted barriers facing out and the ones you built facing into the park? That way the signs would be visible (and the lack of signs on yours wouldn't matter) and the striped tiles would show

put the Disney Castle in the middle of the park facing your desk and once you double it guest will walk through the castle to get to the rest of the park

With my red and white roller coaster you could put stuff inside the middle area. For my coaster I put a quick service restaurant with seating inside.

I like the Disney castle at the end. Feels like things are spread out more evenly. And the shops are on the path to the castle and not down a dead end. Seem like thats how they would be place in a real park, so there would be foot trafic going by :) Looking good all together though.

You could have the entrance gate at the high point on a bridge over the tracks. That way instead of entering and facing a steep staircase, you’ll climb up first then as you enter you see all the amusement park spread out in front of and below you.

You should move the hunted house next to the park entrance then you can add another entrance where the hunted house is currently. Additionally you should add black cheese slopes either side of the rail crossing so minifigs don't walk on the track.

To get more space for the park, maybe you can shift the park train track and have a rail bridge. Open the second line in the train station and close the current one. What about making the entrance for the park where you have the haunted house?

The fair ground mixer is my favoret ride at a carnival fair ground or show we call it a cha cha ride hear. An its mostley just abouve ground leval with fenveing around it

did you also smaller ride like the pirate ship or the dragon from the VIP promotion LEGO set? maybe also nice to bring there as smaller attractions?

Try putting the smallest ride in the middle of the castle and the roller coaster ride it will make it look less conjusted

You could raise the loop coaster like 5-10 bricks high this way you get more space and you can have it sideways. 1:09

What if a minifig gets sick at the ride, I wouldn’t put food venders under the mixer. What if it’s raised high enough to have the restrooms on two sides and a walkway in between?

Your mixer appears to have stopped working properly? The arms were rotating, but the ends weren't counter rotating?
