LEGO Avenger's Tower  

I love seeing the Tower compared to other Modular’s it makes them feel tiny in comparison. You should use the parts from the Tower MOC for a Tony Stark mansion

I would turn your old avengers tower into an oscorp or a baxter building. could keep a similar look, change it up slightly, and have it near your avengers tower.

Honestly, It would be fun to see you moc the official set with the parts you have from your old moc to improve the height and make something really unique.

Kim has already got a design for the Tower base. that would give you that boost in height

The simplest thing would be to turn the old tower in a Stark tower (from the 1st avengers) otherwise there should be plenty of skyscrapers in fiction that could be remade. Oscorp comes to mind.

Brick artisan made e a base building (rebrickable) on a 48x48 plate. Maybe that would be interesting for the city 😊

Awesome set I wish the GWP was widely released, and not exclusive to the avengers tower You should take the pieces from the old tower and make a skyscraper in a similar style to the shmew tower and make it part of a shmew tower complex. IRL there are skyscrapers with smaller similar looking ones around it, it would be cool if you did the same in mindyapolis

In the movies the bottom of the tower is a real life building that they put the avengers tower on top of. If you wanted to make it bigger you could MOC the base together!

I notice that some stickers were crooked. May I suggest a pair of tweezers? That would allow a more accurate placement, then using your Adult Sized Fingers. BUT It's a Marvel-lous build.

The old tower moc might look good next to cafe corner at the airport. A visual counterpoint to the new tower.

You should build a Grand Central Station MOC and place the new avengers tower on top of it just like in the movies, it will help with its height!

Gotta use the old base or a revamped version! Kim Plata has some rebrickable base ideas. Also check out what Bevins Bricks did as well. The tower in the movie was on top of another building so it makes sense to have a base building to set it on. Can you make new floors in the new tower with some of the parts of the old tower? I was wondering if I could do this as well. Maybe buy 2! 😂😂

Great review. My recommendation would be to have the new and your MOC of the avengers tower side by side, why? There similar in size and will give your cut skyline a great look because of the symmetries these buildings have, think about it.

Awesome video. As for the bugle being on a discount, Amazon has it for $300, so maybe the Avengers tower will go on sale. Who knows. I know once I double points order all my main sets for next year I will be able to get the set as my birthday gift and the ideas train for Christmas so it will be a win for me. I can't pass on the 4th Lego train set and got to keep the Marvel modular streak going as well.

If you wait it may go on sale around this time next year, i did get the daily bugle on sale from Walmart's website last year. If this remains a lego exclusive it'll probably not go on sale

A great set and will definitely get it but might wait for a good promo. I would love for you to keep your MOC Avengers tower but if not, maybe you can use it to make the base floor for the new set 😉

Everyone wants an official Lego Stan Lee minifigure but no we get a Kevin Feige one instead. I can only imagine there must be some sort of rights issue with his estate otherwise you would have thought we would have had one by now.

Amazon has great 300lbs+ sturdy and raisable fully adjustable work benches for great prices...I use one in my studio and it's one of the best investments I ever made. build or do reviews standing or sitting! Nice review Alex. It pretty much reaffirmed to me that I don't like this building just like I didn't like the Daily bugle. It needs a base for sure. It just looks cut off at the bottom. If there was a "lobby base" i would like a lot better. As it stands, it is ok.

I'm a Marvel non-fan. I enjoyed seeing the review, and the building looks cool, but the subject matter means nothing to me.

I kind of liked your moc a bit better, but if you're going to make a skyscraper with those pieces, why not make another tower from Marvel? Oscorp has a tower and so does Fisk? Might be fun.

You should put your avengers tower back in your city so that way you can have 2 like the sanctum sanctorum

This is what, the 3rd avenger's tower? It looks great and it's huge but I've only seen 2 or 3 Marvel movies so I have no clue about any of it.

Great set, expensive. Disappointed that no Spiderman version's are on included. At lease they could've used one version of Spiderman.

Simple complaints like u saying it’s too tight for you to place kinifigures for filming is super annoying.

So, I'm probably in the minority here, but while I get that it's awesome to have a tall skyscraper like that in a Lego city, I still think the Avengers Tower is just an ugly building. And on top of that, I think the Lego set of it is even uglier. Again, I get why some, most even, would disagree. I find the whole design a bit.. overdone, pretentious even. And hey, I enjoy most Marvel films, or I did for a while, but I have to agree with Captain America when he called it "that big ugly building in New York". And then the set itself takes the sweeping curves and the angles and such, and makes them look, in my opinion, all clunky and jagged. I don't think the design translates well into Lego, even at that scale. Again, I totally get wanting to have it in the city. And as for the Avengers Tower moc, well.. I'm 100% in favour of adding another cool skyscraper or large building of your own design to the city! I suggest a high-end hotel/resort like you might find in Las Vegas or Miami. Something landmark-sized, maybe even two buildings with a sky-bridge over the street!
