I agree. I'm hoping they will do that too. I'm a little worried since they've made statements that they don't make sense for the edgier movies, and that has been DC's style, but I guess we'll see. The Batman was definitely pretty darn edgy and they made sets for that.

That'd be amazing!! Granted I am still excited about what they're giving us, but I'm so disappointed with the Batmobile set. It's somehow more expensive than the 89 one but still has less pieces and has a repeat figure. Would've loved if they included Robin on the Batcycle.

Yeah, but the strangest part isn't even the hyperfixation on Batman (that's understandable) but rather the lack of focus on other Gotham City related characters. The Lego Batman Movie sets had a huge array of supervillains, and now it's Jokers all the way down

You know what would be cool. If they are going to give us another batcave. Make it like the hogwarts castle sets. Have seperate sets that make a massive comic batcave with like the giant penny and t-rex.

Be cool if they gave us more “giant” characters for the buildable character sets like Goliath for Marvel or Atom Smasher for DC imo. This way we have action figures for play value that can also double as mini fig scale dioramas. Like how the Ant Man one can also be viewed as Giant Man.

Yeah, although the best way to execute that would be to use the Minifigure shaped large buildable figure bodytype that we saw for that Giant Man figure in the Captain America Civil War airport set for future incarnations of all of those giant characters. The only exception to that that I would make would be for Galactus, because it would be awesome to get a set consisting of a gigantic Galactus with a Silver Surfer Microfigure and maybe a half consumed planet in microscale

The set I'm most looking forward to is the batmobile, I'm also interested in the skyline. I was ready to write off the mech as I hate them. However, you've changed my mind, especially if it does facilitate new dc characters to be included in sets.

01:42 I have my fingers crossed for a Batman Beyond Terry McGinnis Batman! After all they actually had a batman mech/powered suit in that! Plus would tie in nicely with the BTAS batmobile set, sort of! 😂 or the exoframe suit from The Dark Knight Returns would be cool! 05:04 I don’t know, I kinda like this idea! One of my favourite all time sets is the buildable Scout Trooper and Speeder bike! Real question is which Batman? They’re calling it the batpod, and I am pretty sure that it’s only the Nolan movies that called the bat bike the “batpod”…🤔🤷😂

I really wish that Animated Batmobile was the same scale as the ‘89 Batmobile, or re-release the ‘89. I never saw it on shelves and it was retired too quick. I only got the Ironman buildable figure because it fits inside the Hulkbuster Armor.

I feel like there should at least be one Batcave set out every year (even if it’s just a junior set) so that newcomers will always have something to start their Lego Batman collection with. and for those who need more parts to make an expensive Batcave, you can just steal parts from that set. It’s a win-win.

The batmobile gotta be coming with some side builds.i expect mr freeze has something like a small lab. It can't just be the car + £15 price increase. + I don't want it oversized. Keep it minifigure scale, 1989 batmobile was a bit too big I think.

I think it's a good decision for the Batpod to come with a buildable figure. A minifig scale version would just look like another giant bike, which we already get plenty of. And, unless they were going to make it a $100+ UCS set, they sort of have to include a properly scaled figure for play. Honestly, it's the first of the buildable line that I might consider getting myself, alongside Venom.

Harley Quinn being included with the animated series Batmobile could be meant as a tribute to Arleen Sorkin (who was the inspiration and original voice for Harley) who passed away last year. As a Harley collector, that Batmobile interests me. And since when have the Lego buildable figures been even decent sellers. The ones they did for Star Wars (Force Awakens and Rogue One) didn't sell. The Marvel ones don't sell, and the Batman currently on shelves isn't selling.

I would love to see a diorama set “of Almost got ‘Im” I think that episode is one of the greatest of the whole series and to get like the poker table, maybe the jokers TV he uses to show his broadcast and All 5 villains would be awesome. But, I think Lego is just going to keep on releasing mechs and giant buildable figures.

only buildable figure I have is vader. I wouldnt mind a 4+ set version of the batcave. you can add and modify it. plus its good if you dont have much space. hearing about the batman the animated series sets is cool. the loved that show when I was a kid and still do.

Well it’s not a playset. It’s a display model. And we know from Star Wars and other Super Heroes sets they sometimes only get one or two figs. So this is great

The big Marvel PLAYSETS get a lot of figures. But not the display sets, look at the large Black Panther bust (no figures) and the UCS Hulkbuster (one figure).

If it’s more than normal for the adult stuff I’ll take it but Lego know their fans and how they want minifigs, look at the super inflated price of the x men jet, just for the figs. I’d like another dc/Batman CMF series, and more smaller play sets with figures or the huge modular stuff

I am really confused You DON'T want the bat pod - one of the hardest, most expensive & wanted sets? I got a third party version of it & it is great. The SW Speeder Bike with the buildable Scout trooper was around the same price & is fantastic to the point of near UCS. The Bat pod is too, especially next to the tumbler
