Thank you all for the great reception #legobatmannoir has had. We worked really hard on this small stop motion and we are so humbled by everyone's kind praises. It'll mean a lot to us if you could share the video and if you're not a subscriber, there is no better time than now. Stay tuned for a special look at the making of this animation.
The fact that nobody speaks and that everything is shown visually is so perfect. The animation looked great, especially in the fighting scene. I like how the rain looks too, it makes it feel so immersive. Overall I think this was really well done!
Awesome! I can see influences from Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” and Batman: The Animated Series. The crime scene feels very reminiscent of the Mayor’s murder crime scene from the Former & the whole Alleyway & Rooftop fight almost looks like a shot for shot remake of the animated series iconic intro. Very well done.
This is the best LEGO short film that I've ever seen. I really love the slower pace and the gloomy feel that perfectly fit the noir genre. We need a series out of this, hope you guys make more of them!
This video is art. It takes inspiration from many diferent sources like the Animated Series, The Batman film and Batman's first comics. It's amazing how much love and undestanding for the character can be shown in 6 minutes. Great job!👏👏
What the hell this is good. I was clued to my screen for the entire story. Big ups to you guys for being able to tell a compelling story with lego's without any voiceacting in it. Keep it up.
Your version of the LEGO Batman theme has a very dense atmosphere, which I really like. It is really a good idea to realize it in black and white, which is a unique point compared to all other Batman brickfilms here on RU-vid. I am looking forward to your next releases.
This....we need full featured film of series...10/10 stop motion. Without the doubt this is one of THE BEST Lego batman short movies here. Well done to everyone who worked on this. I am definitely rewatching this many more times.
This was phenomenal! That 'Bat-Glare,' lol. So well made. Loved the no-dialogue approach, you conveyed the whole story without a single word and it plays very well into that era. Very impressed.
The visual style in this vid amazing! I saw a lot of almost direct scenes from the animated series and loved it! It’s literally like if todays good story telling and production was put in an old noir 1940s film. Gotta love it man, you killed it with this
It was great thanks for making that Batman's punches could look more like punches or even a title card showing him best the two goons would've been neat too but it doesn't matter I love this creative take on Batman I even love the conversion of the batmobile well-done guys. Fantastic Job!
This reminds me so much of the animated short Strange Times made for Batman's aniversay, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a direct inspiration cause this has very similar vibes and rocks just has hard. Amazing work!
DarkMoonStudios always bringing great quality animations. I follow your channel for this Doctor Who series. It would be cool to see a continuation of this short. 🇧🇷
Great work Tom, fantastic sense of atmosphere! This was really unique and a great way to adapt these characters, looking forward to more of these types of shorts from you
Absolutely amazing work! Many have already mentioned this but even though no one spoke it was still easy to figure out what was going on by just expression alone, I’m very excited to see what you make next!
@@darkmoonstudios6812 I see it but the design looks like the 2022 batmobile you’ve made it very nicely it’s look very more perfect to the car in the movie than the official lego set
