Lego Battle of the Little Bighorn - stop motion (Custer's Last Stand) 

By the end of this stop motion, 10 U.S soldiers/ cavalry men lost their lives, and 2 natives died. rest in peace lego people

The Natives have all the Right by her Side! Crazy Horse, Geronimo, Sitting Bull I LOVE YOU and I am by your Side with my Soul!

I believe that there were actually two survivors of the battle. Frank Finkel was shot early in the battle, & he rode off to get reinforcements & to get his own wound fixed. The other was Myles Comanche who was shot seven times. He was near dead when reinforcements picked him & took care of him.

I really like this. Most battle animations are just people shooting at each other, but this one is astonishing. Something new every moment. Filled with action. Keep it up.

I have been to Little Bighorn, it is more hilly and not made of legos. It is a quite sobering place to visit. Unlike many battlefields, it is actually little different than it was 150 years ago. You can really get a feel for it

1:00 I just noticed the symbol from the Lakota flag (the very tribe fighting here). Great attention to detail.

The 7th had the Springfield,single shot Carbine.A lot of the Indians had Winchester and Henry repeaters.Custer was out-manned,out-gunned and out-manoeuvred.A skirmish he never had to fight.

Many of the Natives in this battle were actually "better" armed than the US soldiers. They had a lot of lever action winchesters and henrys while the 7th cavalry had single shot breach loading springfield rifles (which ARE more accurate but, slower reload) The Natives had everything from traditional weapons to black powder muskets to the most advanced rifles of the time. a large variety of weapons.

What I like about JD brick productions is that you don't have the feeling that you're watching an episode of ROBOT CHICKEN.

Very nice work. It was very touching to me (considering that I'm of native American ethnicity myself) I'm greatful my tribe was never found at the time and we were able to continue on to this day.

Well done video. Obviously a lot of time and effort put into it. Archaeological evidence points to the "Last Stand" being total myth. More like "Last Run For Your Life". Custer expected a slaughter, just not his own.

More historically accurate than some documentaries I've seen (looking at you, (Non-) History Channel! Except for the sabers...they left them at the Powder River depot.

I was in a recreation of this historic battle (mostly I live in Montana) but I played a part as a Calvary man

my grandpa told me how my great-great grandpa fought in this battle on the native side. thanks for making this! my great great grandpa would be proud!

While White Cow Bull and oral history do talk about a soldier in a buckskin coat shot at the river, it's very unlikely that soldier was Custer. It could have been any of the other officers since many were dressed similarly to Custer. If Custer was wounded at the river, he likely would have been taken to Calhoun Hill since it's a safer and way less exposed position than Last Stand Hill. Also, Indian accounts say that the soldiers who rode down to the river were on grey horses (undoubtedly Company E), which means if an officer was wounded or killed at the river, it more likely would have been 1st Lieutenant Algernon Smith or 2nd Lieutenant James Sturgis. Despite that, this is a pretty cool video.

History told by Legos. Who knew?? I like the bummed-out cavalry soldier. He knew he wasn't gonna get out alive.

The losses of the Sioux were only about 20 to 30 warriors, but they paid a dear price for the victory, one they never recovered from. Soon after, US forces would roll over them and render the Sioux nation a non-player.

Notifaction to any kid 8 or under, the INDIANS HAD RIFLES. It’s historical. Edit: lord calm down that I called them Indians.... I was just replying to all the people who thought that the Indians didn’t have rifles. Jeez. Huh I can’t find those comments now... oh well Unnecessary edit: good lord why do I have to do this... well... Muskets can be called rifles, and also, they still used bows, hatchets, and all that. They gained them through trade or dead bodies if you wanna go that far, ok? there were around 6.000 Cheyenne, Arapaho and Lakota at the little big horn what they call "the battle of the greasy grass" and two women warriors distinguished themselves one a war Chief "pretty nose" the other a woman known as " Buffalo calf road woman who was actually given credit of killing custer
