Hey, there, Good Timers! We are so sorry... this video has been a project long in the making!
After taking so long, we thought we would treat our "submitees" by giving them a little more screen time than you might have anticipated... stay tuned!
Well, here it is! Thank you so much for your submissions! These were so much fun to dissect and review!

Without you guys, my vocabulary probably would have been missing three words my entire life :( You should get these three castles together and have a last man standing battle off to see which one survives the longest :P Imagine if LEGO Masters had a challenge where the contestants had to build castles with high ADO ratings while still being aesthetically pleasing (and tell a story).

Help me understand your rating. When you say offensibility, do you mean how the castle can take offensive actions against an attacking force, or that the sight of the castle is offensive to look at?

Great Question! All a math problem, so to speak: Accessibility: How livable and/or realistic is it? +1 for things that a minifigure could do, -1 for anything inconvenient for the minifigures. Defensibility: How well can it withstand an attack? +1 for good historical features, -1 for missed opportunities etc. Offensibility: how well can one stage a counter offensive if attacked. Can you fight back? Auxiliary graces: +1 or -1 for anything else outstanding to the building itself. Keep the Good Times Poppin'!

I think the first castle is meant to be surrounded by water, and that ramp up there leading to the wooden door with the wooden floor should be the access for that boat I think. The open door is meant to be another connection for another bridge to another portion of town / castle.

Great theory on the 'boat ramp!' Vikings beached in similar ways, so tenable for any small or shallow drafted craft. For the style of the castle, (12th-13th century) I would have expected a just pre-caravel-lateen-rig ship, which would have a deep hull and need a dock.

@@thegoodtimegroup maybe the keep is supposed to be only accessible to small boats / barges / rafts that ferry goods and weapons to the keep to maintain them supplied in a siege , not the bigger boats you mentioned.(again, this is presuming my theory that the entire castle is supposed to be surrounded by water - including that specific portion with the ramp.
