I can see why they kept it as a smaller set, as there aren;t many things in teh City range for that price which AREN'T a vehicle of some kind, so it helps with people city building, on a budget. I've just had a look at yours, I liked your thought processes, going thru the dilemmas of where fans and bubbles should be!!! The extra windows in the sides looked good too.

Yes, that would definitely make it more realistic. This time I was going for ease of modification! So leaving them where they were on the original model saved time and parts!!!!! Great suggestion though, so thanks for commenting.

@@MinifigJez You are right. It is indeed not as simple as I thought. My first thought was just placing the brushes in before the window instead of after and then you need some additional parts.

@@windhoven-nl I’ll add it to my “to do” list… but the list of videos that I need to film is getting very long! (Real life always seems to get in the way of building Lego!!!)

it’s great to hear how other people modify things differently. I think the car has been made too small then, it needs to be taller to be an SUV, it’s the same size as regular Lego City family cars. That was the reason that I think the wheels need to be smaller. Thanks for commenting.

Me too !!!! - But boring normal life continues to get in the way of clearing out the junk room and building Lego though!!! We're getting there though (just slowly!)

Right like who cares if you were first. Anyway, love what you did with the carwash. Im in the process of making a gas station moc for all my speed champions and thought about doubling up this set for the parking lot.
