That's crazy, it looks like a similar transition of lighting from a darker green to an orange-ish. Reminds me of how GTA V's graphics changed since GTA IV.
I don't own a WII U but the WII U are not that bad. It looks like the switch lighting /filter is the only big improvement. The WII U version had framerate issues? Tv mode on my switch is really bad.
I actually wasn't expecting the difference to be this big between the 2 versions. The Switch version is superior to the Wii U version and looks near identical to the PS4 version.
Anyone who has actually played the Wii U version knows that the main thing they needed to improve upon are the FUCKING HORRIBLE UNBELIEVABLE RIDICULOUS load times the Wii U version has. I mean I liked the game but holy dumb fuck It can't be understated just how LONG and FREQUENT the load times are. I think Sonic 06 did a better job with load times and that's really fucking sad.
Have it installed on Switches internal memory. The initial load is faster but still quite long. The first level was loading in ~half the time of the Wii U version. So it is improved. The game loads the fastest when it's installed on the iternal memory, from what i've read online but i did not test that.
At the time, the Wii U version looked fantastic. Now for it being remastered, the remaster looks superior. However, I will still love the original and remaster because both are fun.
2D no not really....idk what little mobile game that you have that runs like that but I'm sure it comes with lots of great transactions too😂 look I don't hate mobile games but they're nothing compared to any console or Pc etc but they can be simple fun...just so many these days are lazily made and all about trying to get everyone to spend all there money on the stupid trash game which ends up being no fun...
Not to much better and that annoying antialiasing bouncing all over the place. The Wii U version of Bayonetta gets better frame rates then the Xbox One and PS4 versions, the PC version is best of course with a constant 60FPS.
Slenderfoxx37 not really I love The Wii U style here a lot. I don't like the Switch Version it's so Red Light Light red shiny. It looks like it is so hot in the switch and Wii u could
I like the aestethic of the WiiU better. It actually look more realistic. Fun fact, they removed the dynamic light from the miner's helmet on the "HD remake".
I don't like the blurred textures which are far away in the background in the Swithc version. This is what the cutscence makes blurred and hard to look at too. This aspect was far better in the Wii U version.
The framerate was really bad on the WiiU version, especially around the Police Station. It dropped to what looked like 15. Obviously it will be improved on the Switch, but by how much? And what version, (ps4, xbone, pc, Switch), has the best FPS?
looking forward to playing this game again on switch. my wii u copy was broken by 4 year old cousin. it was his first time taking a disk out of a case after all. going 100% this time
The Switch/PS4/PC version has a higher resolution but seems to lack atmospheric effects, you can see clearly for too far. The Wii U's has a bluish-green atmospheric tint completely absent in the new conversions. Also, shining objects don't shine anymore (look at the "neon" coins, and coins in general, at 1:10). Again, lack of effects?
they reused the coins from another game also the atmospheric effects in the new one is what makes it look very orange they changed the color grading to a warmer tone to more accurately represent a humid bustling cityscape near water and the harbor
fun fact: The new LEGO City Undercover port on the new next gen consoles are specifically made for PS4 and XBONE, they actually had to port this to PS4 and XBOX ONE, then had to port to Switch.
I don't understand what language it said at the end, but I'm sure the Switch version seems improved. I still have the Wii U version, but I don't have the Switch version, yet.
It was a wii u launchtitle so of course the lighting is worse than it could be but besides that these 2 version are identical i looked through the files and their all the same (i looked through ~40% of the stuff)
i played this game on both consoles and i beat the game and i have the relocater and even i have the justice vehicle from the WII U garage and the pusuer from the nintendo switch garage the garage is at the police station in cherry tree hills one of them says 01 on the top and the other one says 02 on the top i know alot about the game
I mean it's nice and all but the Wii U version has charm. If you could take the graphics of the Switch (or PC, whichever version was best out of the 4) minus the lighting, the Wii U version was better lighting in my opinion, the designs of characters and vehicles as well as the gamepads mechanic and I think you have the definitive version of Lego City Undercover
Imo, the Wii U version looks much better. The lighting and background blur 1:00 for example the wii u looks much more aesthetically pleasing than the blocky digital background of the switch
I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate, but I think the Wii U version looks a tad bit better. The Switch has this red tint on everything, and I like the moody color scheme on the Wii U. It makes it seem darker, which helps the fact that there's a crime wave in progress.
wow, what a shocker! it looks better on the wii u how is that possible? I thought the switch was more powerful? bad port I guess. is that in portable mode or dock mode? tne ground loss more detailed in the switch version and the color pallet seems lighter on tne switch where a s the wii u version loss darker and a little bit more colorful.
It's of course obvious that Switch has stronger processing power than Wii U. Switch is basically a portable version of XBOX 360 or PS3 in terms of graphics processor when Docked. When it is portable, the frame rate may be similar to Wii U.
