Doctor...are ya sure connecting Mars and Skaros to London is a good idea? I mean, cool, Mars has a breathable atmosphere now apparently, but we know what's in the water there, and then you go and bring a chunk of the Dalek home world with you too...

The crazy thing is, since the Doctor can go anywhere in time and space, all this could really happen for him. Whenever I am playing as him, I give him one or two other characters as companions and imagine that it is all one of his adventures.

This is so cool. This last year I have become a big Doctor Who fan (the series reboot, not the older show). I love the references to the series and the characters the levels and hub world has. Can't wait to see the inside of the Tardis (changes depending on which of the 12 Doctors you are using) and the Cyberman character.

how do you save all your progress in the adventure world?

+Ashleigh Rombaut When you complete a quest or get a gold brick the game will save automatically. The only thing that doesn't save is your progress on the stud meter. You need to fill that in one continuous play through of the adventure world and then it will save that you filled it.

Wait, I thought LEGO closed that MMORPG thing they had? Wasn't that Dimensions? Either way that MMO they cancelled, I played it during it's last month - it was literally the best MMORPG I've ever played, it even beat WoW. The creativity and tie in's were endless. I was SO heartbroken it was canned.

It is a reboot (hence even the seasons starting with "series/season one" again). The series had stopped for years then the producers decided to try some different things with it and it was a success. The old show is cheesy, bad effects and acting, and doesn't interest me much. The new show is great.

It's not a reboot. The show when it came back in 2005 continues the story. Even though there is a major gap between 1989 - 1996 and 1996 - 2005 they've been filled in by big finish audio dramas and have now become canon in the Doctor Who Universe thanks to The Night of The Doctor mini-sode and the 50th Anniversary "The Day of The Doctor" So in conclusion this isn't a reboot its a continuation or expansion of the show that started back in 1963. Sorry if I came off rude, but the facts are there when you research and dive into the mythos of the series. Since Capaldi is technically the 14th Doctor with the inclusion of The War Doctor (John Hurt) and the Meta-Crisis Doctor back in 2008, who were incarnations 9 and 12 making Matt Smith the 13th Doctor as he has stated in "Time of the Doctor"

+DoctorWho50th Someone else in these comments gave the definition of "reboot", and the revived Doctor Who certainly fits that definition. Plus the fact that even the producers started the season with the 9th Doctor in 2005 as series/season 1 tells me a lot.

+Jerrybouey yes but technically it's season 26. The only reason it's refered to as Series 1 is because it would confuse new viewers who would become new to the show.
