Neat! I hadn't considered hardware modding my EV3 before, as it's a big no-no when it comes to warranties. What does it look like if you boot the regular brick operating system? Does it work at all, fail gracefully, or perhaps just crash entirely? Also, what kind of increased power draw does this display take over the original?
It fails gracefully. Everything works normally, other than the display. It draws about about 20mA extra because of the backlight. However, the backlight is dimable, so the power use will be proportional.

Hello i just bought a ev3 but the screen did not work at all. If i change my screen by a new one do whe need to buy something else. Like all the cable like you.
