I'm beyond pumped for the Avatar sets! Saw the original film 6 times in the cinema and countless times since. In the process of clearing space for all of those :-)

I don't know if it's just me but I'm about tired of Lego making sets for every movie that comes out. I want Lego to go back to when they had their own themes such as pirates, westerns, underwater themes like aquazone and aquaraiders the rock raiders themes like that. I feel like before too long the only way Lego will make a set is if there's a movie to go with it. I will give them credit on the new castle and the forestman set though.

I’m starting to look into the aquazone and rock raiders sets. Apparently Lego almost went bankrupt until they started making lego star wars sets in 1999. So it sort of makes sense selling sets based off movies if more people buy what they’re familiar with. But I agree, they definitely need to do more original sets like the Aqua Raiders or Exo-Force again

I love the mention of military based vehicles! LEGO really likes to bend their rules for some reason. The mech slaughtered a bunch of Na'vi and the same goes for the Sa-2 Sampson. I'm not sure if LEGO actually watched Avatar..

Small note, changing up the bottles can be challenging because they will pick which they like, at the moment. Can be good or bad lol. And we had our child she preferred dr browns, as did I very good bottles/products but a bit pricey. The Avents are good too but our kiddo did Prefer the Browns. Also a bottle warmer helps as well at times, I forget which we had but it was essentially a steamer and not all bottles could fit or withstand the heat. The measurements for exact water was tricky at first.

Avatar sets come with the extra-long minifigure legs and arms! I'm hoping we see those integrated into other themes too, like we are seeing more of the medium legs. (I need some for my sigfig haha)

On the Lego set rule list one of the rules says that Lego cannot build any military set that represents violence. Um I think they broke that rule. Not being picky but just stating a fact

I gotta be honest I was disappointed when it was announced or leaked that it would be Avatar, yes I watched the movie years ago as a kid... but I don't know I would much prefer something else, also.. it would be nice if lego didn't do so much licensed themes. I love how many mini figs are included in The Office set. However the actual build just looks messy and so crowded, there's not much to it.

It's so interesting to see yoru reaction on the Avatar sets, because I think most people think it's pretty underwhelming now. The sets look nothing special to me, but I like the Office set coming with that many minifigs.
