Wow, this is an awesome set - and a cool video about it 😜 I like the short videos of „real life crane“. This shows the accuracy of the model. And helps a lot of understanding the functions of the model, if you do not know the original crane. Thanks for showing this.
Yes, it is a great model. With all respect I spent a lot of hours back engineering it. (Though I am not good at that.) As I don't have all the pieces, I had to compromise with what I used. The boom extension and hook controls were too "difficult" to be done and so I tweaked the boom extension, hook control and a slight modification of the boom itself. Would you like me to send in the mods? (I am not keen on joining every group in the world and it is here.... So I am asking here.)
Your design looks nice. More photos can be found here: www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/163123-moc-lego-mini-crane-114-hoeflon-c6-spider-crane/
Looks great! I even dare to say functionality wise it opperates better then the 2019 lego Technic one I’m asking out of curiosity: would you concider to someday produce instructions for it? I’d be willing to pay for it. -Wow, thanks! Edit: On the other hand, a lot of time has passed since i made this comment and i would like to say that I have succesfully been able to reverse-engineer your AMAZING creation. But you don’t have to be worried I’m not going to publish the (LDD) instructions for everyone around the globe to see. I would still like to wish you much luck with designing any future mechanical masterpieces for people to see.
Totally neat! I quickly figured it wasn't an official Lego set. Some of the information at the end was confusing. Commercial instructions but not for sale?
