Bluey seems like such an obvious choice. It’s one of the biggest kid shows worldwide. The only reason I can think of why they haven’t done Bluey already is either they are already working on a complete line to release in the next couple years, or the people who own the Bluey rights want too much money.
That’s always a possibility with any Ideas design, especially with licensed ones, you never know what Lego themselves are working on. Bluey though probably has a good chance of making it
The medieval fans won’t be happy with the results that’s all I know considering we already have a Lego market village as of now. This one will just be like double the price 💀
Wild West theme is certainly under represented these days and the old sets aren’t cheap. You might want to check out the Bricklink Designer Program, a few Western sets get released on there. I bought the General Store from Series 1 and it’s fantastic
I LOVE the Bob Ross Painting - so colorful and it would look great next to the Starry Night and Wave. I would absolutely love the Monet Impression Sunrise.
Yeah it really is quite stunning, much more detail going on the more you look at it. The Monet is also nice but out of the two I would like the Bob Ross one, hopefully it makes it🤞
Yeah I think that’s fair, certainly not the strongest line up. I hope the Blacksmith makes it but my gut feel is it won’t get selected particularly as a few Western sets are on Bricklink and the general store didn’t sell out
I would absolutely love if the Iron Giant entry won! Thats one of my favorite animated films of all time!! Yeah quite a lot of these wont get chosen simply because either Lego has a set out now thats similar or sets are coming in the future, lots of easy rejections in this selection unfortunately. The market village would be a good contender seeing as Lego has been pushing out more medieval sets as of late. Also the sony walkman would have been more favorable as a Marvel entry had the walkman been themed with Guardians of the Galaxy in mind. It is possible if chosen, Lego could market it as that though. The Sea Otter one is actually quite amazing, very well executed, and honestly looks like a set Lego would legit make just like this. I dont care for Downton Abbey but Im very aware its a popular show around the world. Thats one Lego could for, for sure. It would be expensive but Im fairly sure it would sell well. The Bob Ross entry would also be a good one as well, and I love the addition of the small television, thats a nice touch
You do have to wonder just how many of these Ideas designs Lego actually nab for themselves, very interesting that a retro radio set gets 10k in votes then all of a sudden an Icons set appears. I’m sure it’s all just a coincidence but even so lol😂
@@TheDyslexicGeak lol maybe. After all it does Lego several years to come up with these sets and excute them for sale. Who knows maybe they cut some of the these contestants a small check for their idea that should never be discussed lol
@@foreverfornever1124 also with Lego Ideas I believe even if a design doesn’t get selected, Lego own rights for any submission for a few years, pretty sure that’s what I have read
