Unpopular opinion probably, but the 2020 Pancake Buster. It has a look that's less busy, but still detailed. It mixes Crimson and Scarlet, and is just an absolute monster. It's just really cool to me.

@average teenaged flexer I mean, Its based on the comics, andhave you seen that version of the hulkbuster? looks more like a man than a machine, but it all comes down to preference really
I know alot of people haven't read the comics or seen the cartoons but some people act like the mcu is all marvel is and they look at comic or early cartoon characters like they never happened. Yes they did not happen like this in the movies but Marvel is more then th cinematic universe so do some research before comparing too much.
I think they make the hulk busters too big in order to include more detail, bc if they made them the same size as Igor, they would lack detail and wouldn’t be as appealing
The 2020 version seems to be inspired by the Model 32 Hulkbuster Argonaut Armor from the comics explaining the bigger size and flatter head. The Infinity War Hulk Buster is my favourite of the 4.
I don’t know why people complain about size, if he really wanted to defeat the Hulk why would he make it the exact same size? Wouldn’t you want it to be bigger to make it easier to defeat the Hulk? Like it even matters either the hulk always ends up destroying the hulk buster in the comics

i hated the 2020 hulkbuster till i got it in hand and i honestly really have fallen in love with it which i never thought i would. i still am doing modifications on its shoulders waist and arms to help some of the issues but honestly way better than i expected.
I took pieces from the 2015 hulkbuster and added them to the 2018 hulkbuster and smoothed out edges to make it more steamlined . I ended up with a minifigure scale hulkbuster that is nerely three times the size of a bigfig. I think the war machine busted would be good for an iron monger moc and the 2020 hulkbuster could be modified to resemble the crimson dynamo from erth 's mightiest heroes cartoon series.
I don’t really think they were ever supposed to be “minifigure scale” in comparison to the figures and to hulk, I think Lego was just trying to create a somewhat detailed hulk buster similar to the size of a basic action figure. I also have all four as well as the “UCS” hulk buster and I like all four, I like that they differ from each other and I also think that each works well as an “action figure” for younger kids to play with. Also, I always find it somewhat funny when people say they don’t like something about Lego sets, or they “wish it was something different” like a different scale or a different look... it’s Lego. If you want something different, build something different lol. I’ve seen some amazing hulk buster suits built “in scale” to hulk and to mini figures and if that’s something you would want, just build it. If it’s too big, build a smaller one. If it’s too small, build a bigger one. If it’s not “comic book” based, build it “comic book” based lol. Just my two cents. I always find it funny when people say they wish something was different in a Lego set lol.
There's a Hulkbuster the same size as The Hulk. You can also fit Iron Man inside. There's no articulation on the legs,just like big mini figures with less assembly required.I got it from a third party brand and they have various repainted Hulkbuster suits like Iron Patriot, War Machine.
The one that has a pancake face in the comics is basically always shown bending over so the pancake head makes sense sorta. I feel bad for the hate he gets.
I only own the 2018 Infinity War Hulkbuster, which I really like, but apart from the poor choice of head piece on the newest one (and even then the print almost saves it), I like the waist articulation, color scheme, and design of the 2020 Buster.
I got the 2015 hulkbuster in 2015, the only one I have, but I made a hulkbuster moc that's more to scale. Imma put it in my hall of armor vid that I put out in a month or two. I think they could've for the new one gone smaller maybe infinity war size/ look like you said and then include same figs, but add an aim exo suit.
Your are completely right, They just keep getting bigger but they need to be getting smaller cause they keep getting more and more out of scale with hulk they should be the size of the Igor suit from the iron man hall of armor
It makes sence that the one based off the game is that size since the Hulk can actually get inside of the hulkbuster (just have a friend play as iron man and deploy the hulbuster then anyone including the hulk can walk over to it and get inside of it)
2020 hulkbuster is my favourite. I had to modify mine. Shoulders, back area and alot of colouring and brick switch up on the cockpit area. When it arrived l have the circular helmet instead of a pancake haha
Tbh, i think the 2020 one looks good. The head is a little flat, but its far better than the UCS hulkbuster dome. It's way too big, i tried it. The body, otherwise, looks fantastic.
Haha, I remember I had gotten the 2015 one and had it. Then, the 2018 one came out o got it and fused the 2 of them together. I still have it, and it still looks cool
In all honesty i think it would make sense if the hulkbuster were bigger than the hulk. Like the hulk could probably naturally beat a hulkbuster his own size. If you want to beat the hulk you need to go overkill and knock him out quickly. As there is no killing or overpowering the hulk. You need to incapacitate him. And i think hitting him immediately with something bigger than he is would be the best way to go.
