If I remember correctly, we haven't gotten an angry hulk since the thor ragnarok set in 2017, so it's nice to finally have another angry hulk after 7 years, since that's kind of his thing
I think this is a great set. For those who can't afford the Avengers tower,it's a way of getting a leviathan. I also like the figure selection because everyone has someone to fight. The Hulk/leviathan, Loki/Captain, Widow/Chitari.
Only thing I cared about in the tower other then Vision (I personally wasn’t even remotely impressed by it especially compared to The Bugle) is the Leviathan so I’m happy
I'm hoping to catch this one when it goes on sale. I've always wanted a big fig, and this seems like a decent sized set to get a good one. What would be really cool is if lego could make double sided heads for hulk.
Instead of Cap and Black Widow I would have liked to see Hawkeye and another Chitauri since I've got the Quinjet and Hulk and Hawkeye were the only ones missing from that set. Also I'd love to see more Chitauri and other figures that could be used to build an army appear more in the other various lego themes. I know they have budgets but the figures are already designed so surely they could throw in a little bit more.
Out of all of the 6 sets from this wave(cause I don't want the helicarrier display set) (waste of money). I want all of the sets. But the one I want the most. 1. The Milano. 2 The Avengers Age of Ultron set. 3 The Avengers vs The Leviathan set. 4 Thor vs Suffer set. 5. Iron Man and Iron Legion vs The Hydra Soldier. 6 Dancing Good set. But still I want and LOVE all of them.
I wouldn't pay that much tho, I'd want like £70 maybe with at least 2 properly different or new figures from the Avengers Tower so it has smth to make it more desirable rather than duplicates.
Only thing I want from this set is the new Loki minifig. I'm down with the new hard capes because they are way easier to store in a drawer with all your other figs and the cape won't get messed up unlike the soft ones
Do the Age Of Ultron set review today if you want to. I would love it if you did. Or the Dancing Groot. Or both sets. I don't care about the Helicarrier set.
Not as big as I was hoping, and I'm not a fan of the stud-shooter "eyes", but I've been wanting a Lego Leviathan for a while now and don't want to have to spend hundreds of dollars on the Avengers tower, so I'm still gonna get this set. Plus I somehow don't have an actual MCU Hulk bigfig in my collection yet, so that's a bonus.
Less playable feature? It literally has a playfeature where you can remove and attach the cape with ease. Unlike the fabric where you have to remove the head
@Ashnflash No way you consider taking off a cape a play feature😭🙏🏼. If that is the case, the clotg one has more because you have to take off the head. Even in your video, it shows how it takes off the headpiece and doesn't allow to put long hair to minifigures. Also it takes away to move around the cape to hide an arm, put it in front, or put armor under or over the cape.
@Ashnflash It also seems like it can limit the arm and leg movement backwards. Is just a downgrade overall. It might look "cool" but it just visually, because putting it into practice it just not it. Is the problem action figures like McFarlane has with capes, they are annoying and not posable, also limiting play features, they change to cloth capes and it is 100% better.
Taking off the capes IS a play feature. Especially with Doctor Strange. They’re designed to be removed with ease. Yes, the negatives are some hairs don’t work. And you can’t spin the arms all the way around (although a lot of hair pieces prevent this anyways) But the way the capes are molded makes it look more realistic with wrinkles and that they’re flowing in the wind.
