I just finished the medieval town square and now working on the castle. At first i wasn’t feeling the town square but the more i was building it, the more i was enjoying it. It’s a great set apart from the use of stickers lol. While the castle isn’t finished i would say you’d have to get both since they pair up with one another anyway.
Yeah I really did not like the stickers either and it definitely isn't as fun to build as the castle, but it still has its charming elements of the set, just not as many as the castle. It's tough to compare really anything against lion knight's because it's such a well done set. At the end of the day though I agree definitely get both and they look SO good next to each other
@@theskyguystudios Its hard to compare anything to the lions knight castle.... In balanced terms of size, beauty, quality/complexity of build, universal appeal, fun for all ages and sexes with 4 factions of minis for endless types of play, etc... has got to be the best set ever made.... It can stand on its own, or be the focal point of a whole medieval world. Its just really nice to have the town square to go with it. I love lego is making medieval more than just knights with the town feel... Actually the lions knight castle was my first lego purchase in 25 years... the only blight is the stickers but I guess there is not much that can be done about that... I would be willing to pay extra for prints... and that is the main reason I haven't gotten it yet, as I am waiting or a GWP, but I do not think I can hold out much longer.
@@VanillaPoser personally I would get another castle and make a super duper one before getting the Dnd set, its just a little skimpy and weird type fantasy for me. the beauty of the castle is the split modular design can allow a central court yard to be added and still keep the superb design of the sides. I am doing that with a vintage brick collection since I cant spend that much on another castle.
