I'm glad this didn't get a sequel. It's an absolute gem, the best lego minecraft animation I've seen, and it ended perfectly. I think making a sequel would ruin the lesson we learned at the end
I remember watching this as a kid and balling, although I think it's safe to say there is not going to be a season 2 with 4 years without news, but at least we had fun while it lasted. This brought back so many feels of watching an episode before going to school, and I am happy to say that this is one of the things that brings me back to childhood.
yeah, but I am just happy they were able to finish it. and if we ever do get a Second season then I’m sure it’s going to be as amazing as this one. by the way 40 million views on the official Lego channel? Great work guys🎉
_We didn't know we were making memories. We just knew we were having fun._ edit. 28.4.23: Oh well, I'm here 3 years later. And that quote hits even harder now. You see, in 2020 i commented here feeling "nostalgic". Now, in 2023 i'm actually getting way more nostalgia from 2020. So, then, I didn't know I was making memories
If that's the case then why do I literally drop all my armor and weapons only to be killed two seconds later from them walking up to me?! (I actually don't do that but I did it once lol also they chase you around so yea...)
No...you're just chilling and building your base and a creeper slowly sneaks up to you and explodes, when you see a creeper they home in on you and keep following you until they kill you. If they truly were just scared they'd just run away
Not only the stop motion but the actual story is amazing it maybe minecraft but it shows that you can be friends with someone different but also know when it is time to move on.
What a beautiful video. Lighting is great, music is always fitting, the atmosphere is well developed, the characters are immersive for legos, and the sound editing isn't quite bad. Oh and the storyline is quite nice. You could say... It's top notch
@Guillermo Alger Guerrero they re-uploaded it. That’s the official channel showing off a fan film, it even says made by Forlorn Creature in both videos, you absolute idiot.
i remember loving this as a young teen, and it even inspired me to pursue stop-motion animation. still holds up 7 years later, absolutely phenomenal. love your newer scp animations too!
BEST LEGO Minecraft film ever!!! The VFX, the lightings, the voice acting, the emotion, the story!! This film is good enough to be in theaters. Absolutely awesome work! The ending is so heartbreaking. I'll be watching this film quite frequently haha. Love it!
if you think about it; this-from a certain point of view- is a story about racism and how people judge other people because they are different and the red pickaxe banner turned blue when the racism was gone and blade died
Well 2 years later still no volume 2.... But hey, at least if this movie was great, what do we expect from the sequel? Plus, I wanna see what happened to Niko and Steve after the Creeper battle and maybe we could also see Alex in some point.
@quynh nguyen yeah lost hopes there is gonna be a sequel already a long time ago. Although animation takes time. Especially if its a big project like this one, so I understand if ForlornCreature could not do a sequel.
i abandoned this minecraft stop motion series after i watched part 3, i forgot about this amazing series for about 6 yrs. i finally returned to finish what i started, the ending still left a deep mark on me, even though it was 5 years since it ended. im glad to be back here to finish what i think, is one of the greatest videos to ever be posted on youtube of all time.
Tom, everything about this series I love! I really love Niko and Steve's journeys trying to figure out who they are what to do. The characters are so interesting to watch and see how they're different. The lighting is probably the most beautiful I've seen in a brickfilm. All the dialogue seems realistic and really emphasizes the characters forward. All the sets and shots fit the theme of the story and style. Finally, the story is fantastically written in a way that blends your story into the world of Minecraft. 5/5 Tom.
This is truly amazing Great script Great editing skills Great story and meaning behind Great building-skills Great camera movement You have just done an extraorzinary job that you should be proud of :)
I just finished watching it last night - this is amazing. You were really able to capture the emotions of the characters without even any words! (That second last scene with Niko across the river? Damm, that made me sad). It got quite intense in some spots, I’ve never seen a stop-motion able to do that as well as this. Amazing characters, and I love the underlying theme. 💙
This is just amazing. The quality, the music, the characters, the emotions, it is just perfect. And the ending, I thought they were going to say something, at leats a hey, but no, they are both so filled with guilt that they can't.
Wow. This series was so good! This is one of the best brick films I’v ever seen. Could you do a vol.2 to the series? That would be great! Love the outstanding brick film!
One of the best things I ever watched as a kid, I would be so excited when another episode would come out... so funny to think it was all made on a table with a few lamps and a camera. Anyways, sad to see no progress on it but at least we got a whole films worth of it to look back on.
this is actually sad. Creepers are nice, they don't explode deliberately. When they chase you, they want to be friends. But they start to get nervous and they explode. it is practically a protective measure for creepers. they do not die completely when they explode. are born again, trying to be friends again.
THIS. IS. AMAZING. I watched this when I was still in elementary school and somehow stumbled apon this again today. The ending was an emotional punch in the face. I honestly think this needs more recogntion.
I just wanna take the time to say thank you. Thank you for making this video. Thank you for giving me the inspiration to start my RU-vid channel. Honestly if it wasn’t for you I never would’ve appreciated the art of stopmotion filmmaking in the first place. Thank you, forlorn creature, so much.
