That was pretty awesome! Especially seeing it go into the closed-up airport. And it was really awesome seeing it running along with the Metroliner as well. Dual classics! :D
You get some really cool angles filming like that. Would love to see the trainrides and car ride you talked about. Sort of gives us the view of the people of the town.
Hi Alex, Thanks for this upload! Always love your monorail videos. The monorail just breaths nostalgia, that, combined with your huge city with modern and older sets and Moc’s really brings joy! Also, always love the tune 😊
Yeah I love my airport shuttle. I have managed to get three trains built to run on my layout. They all work flawlessly after all this time. I made a garage using two NXT mindstorm bricks where it is automated and switches between trains in and out of the garage. City looks great at that perspective!👍
On-board rides are always great fun. I enjoy filming them on my own layout too, especially my latest project which is a Martian base! The lovely old monorail motor still works very well. 👍
Awesome vid Alex! So cool! Question alex, which Bricks and Minifgis gives the best price for sets, i know there is the south jordan, orem and salt lake one, which do you believe gives the best deal? I know SLC and South Jordan are owned by the same guy, but orem isn't do they ever give different deal, going up saturday.
Hallo Alex Nunes, I really liked going on a ride through your City. A fast train, it is a work week. Does your City have a Sunday, slow Tourist Ride to really enjoy the scenery and build. May be with a stop at the stations to look around.I have no idea if it is possible to post this in slow motion.Looking forward to all the other Rides through your City with all the different modes of transportation. Thank you, Carola
Lmao u have about $10,000 in monorail track... Never noticed how long it was. Can u change the track around so the part that hangs off the table is on the building side and put the building up on stilts or move it or something???
Hey Alex. I’m recently trying to get back into Lego(despite my current username lol), but anyways I was wondering what I could start with to begin a lego city. I have very little room but I still want to build a city. If you have any tips at all I would appreciate it. Thanks, and great video! :D
If your space is very limited I would suggest deciding on what element of a city you want to make. You can focus on a residential area or a downtown area. That way you can specialize it and create better detail rather than try to include every possible part of a typical town. Hope that helps and good luck!
In my opinion a bit too linear for a monorail. I like tracks between buildings our through buildings in different levels of height. The key point of a monorail is driving 'over' the city. At ground level it's only like a train. But i won't sound so negative, i like your city 😉 (i wish i can express it better, but my english is not the best)
