I was able to get it after spending a bit over $480 a few days ago, but I can agree the threshold is pretty high for what it is

I really want to see that LEGO Camera set. Seems like a really cool set with potential play features, and shockingly only $20.

I really wish sets like this, the moving truck and classic Taxi cab weren't sort of "locked" behind high GWP thresholds, especially when a majority of people likely wouldn't be spending over $200 in a single purchase given the rising cost of living in recent months. Sets like this are super cool and unique and I'd love to buy them but instead they're stuck as GWP sets only available to you if you're willing to fork out more than you pay in rent in one whole purchase.. maybe it's just me but I do wish LEGO would provide other options for people to get these sets or at least lower the threshold. Awesome review as always though Tiago, I'd really like to see you cover the Year of the Dragon set as it looks stunning and I've been considering getting it myself.

Dragon seems to be the most unique and interesting set.

A very quaint set… love the colors, details, and the simple design. Wish I could pick it up but that price threshold completely shuts me out of owning it. Luckily the January 1st Burger Truck helps fill this food truck-shaped hole in my heart, haha. Great review!

Awesome set I just wish it wasn't a GWP, and widely available instead 18+ vehicles shouldn't be limited to GWPs Great that it will come back and Lego told you that

So much for "one set per household". If even the LEGO Ambassadors are promoting how to "cheat the system" and get multiple copies of the same GWP, you know that's the way the cookie crumbles.

be neat if gwps were smaller, higher quality no sticker models to, justify the thresholds, and make it more compelling pad your shopping cart to get them

It's a bit of a shame that some of the best small sets in recent years have been a GWP. Sometimes with decent thresholds, sometimes a lot less so. But the fact that you have to buy directly from Lego at usually the full RRP instead of with often a pretty decent discount elsewhere doesn't help either.

I'd start with the Auspicious Dragon. I built that set a couple of weeks ago and it was a very enjoyable experience. Looks fantastic displayed too.

I got this and a bunch of other bonuses recently, but I don't understand how this is rated 18+. The kids (5 and 6 year olds) aren't exactly done building their massive sets (including my Seinfeld set that I managed to find), but I will have them build this and the Bonsai I had to box up a year ago after an accident involving gravity, and I'm pretty sure the food truck won't keep them entertained for too long 😂

Speaking of food trucks, you should review the Pantasy food truck set. 2100+ pieces with tons of printed parts for around $70. Reviews have been pretty good so far, and it certainly looks interesting, and the price obviously blows Lego away.

Honestly looks like someones first MOC, especially with those ugly stickers. That box is 95% air right? I have 1100 piece sets that have smaller boxes.

Lego need to stop GWPs full stop… the vast greater majority of us would rather have the option of buying the set AND getting lower overall prices rather than throwing the cost of GWPs into the wholesale price.. they could knock 25$ off each set and sell the retro truck to those wanting it.. its good, its going to sell… its getting out of hand… $1000 for house of the world? They must be enjoying some good extra employment substances to start thinking that is the new to do standard… these vehicles were free with modular… not modular plus three additional sets

I was gonna buy a bunch of the City Space stuff anyway, and this GWP was the perfect excuse to actually pull that trigger. And I got the burger truck as well, because why not?

Where I live, you need to spend over 214 USD !! in the Lego store for this, not 190... it's a Lego certified store, so maybe there is a different here?

It's a neat little oldschool set, although simplistic. But the simplicity makes it old school in a way. Now the fact you can't just buy it is a massive arrow in the knee, but nothing new from lego sadly

I liked this set and it goes well with the city (I now have 4 Food Trucks!). I do wish these were a standalone set but it is nice to have as a GWP as I was waiting on getting the Museum Modular until this was released.

I got it with my natural history museum and as my first gwp ever I'm very happy with it!

Usually its one freebie per order. And I had to spend $245 to get it.

the reason the front looks like that is do to the fact that its based off vans from the late 40s to early 50s

If lego does a double insiders points when this is going again if it's available a 2nd time in the U.S then I am majorly in trouble as I have the avengers tower prepaid already just waiting for a double points to order it but double points and a 2nd food truck count me in.

Mine came with my Concorde order.

i bought the family reunion set and auspicious dragon. after building the food truck I just put it in front of Avengers Tower for Wong 😂

It looks inspired by a French vehicle.. except it should be selling something more French. I've seen crepes and fries sold in food trucks in France, so that would feel more appropriate to me.

Having only recently gotten back into LEGO after a 20-year+ hiatus, I'm super tempted by some of those LEGO City Space sets. So I'd love to see reviews on those! (Even just one video summarizing the subtheme would be cool.)

Though I really want to see the Auspicious Dragon and the whole Space wave reviewed, the first thing I want to see is your comparison between the retro camera and the Polaroid camera

I saw the gwp set up at the Lego store and I definitely didn't feel a need to own it myself. I can understand it will be a nice addition to someone's lego city, but for myself I think that $190 threshold doesn't justify the pick up. I really look forward to your auspicious Dragon review. I never got into the New Year collection but this one may be a first for me.

Super excited to see the dragon set. I'm seriously considering getting it, I'm an avid collector of dragons and I don't have many Asian dragons.

I'm excited they are doing space again. TBH I don't expect to buy any of them, more just like they are doing them again since that is what I was into as a kid.

I would loveto sdee the dragon.

A theme park would be an excellent set, although we have a lot of the parts of it already. There's the Space Coaster in the 3 in 1 series, along with the much larger Loop Coaster. There's the Burger and Slushie food trucks as well. I'm interested in your thoughts on the Camera. The strap catches my eye, plus I'm interested on hearing more about the play features (or lack thereof). The City Space theme are probably going to be one big video, unless there's a clear standout. I suppose you'd probably want to get the Dragon video out before the Lunar New Year though.

I held off buying the museum until this became the gwp. I regretted not getting the jazz club in time with the moving van, and I had no idea about the taxi gwp that came out with the boutique hotel, so I wasn't going to miss the chance of getting a gwp that goes with a modular

i thought that that ticket looked like a cinema ticket and maybe hinting at a modular cinema? just my thoughts.
