In today's LEGO Star Wars video we will be comparing the 2001 7126 Battle Droid Carrier versus the all new 2024 May 4th Promo 40686 Trade Federation Troop Carrier. The new one being a modern remake of the original set from the Phantom Menace, and we will see how good of a remake the new version really is!

I still don't like it as a Gift With Purchase, but there's no denying that it's a great remake.

Yeah, if it was a $40 (CDN) set, oh my god I'd buy it even though it's less pieces for the price than the 2015 75086 Troop Carrier. But spending $210 (CDN) for a droid set valued by LEGO at $40....

Personally, I'd compare 40686 with 75086. Same vehicle, just the new one has less pieces and less droids and costs way more and the better one is from 2015
