Barring UCS Millennium Falcons, is this the BEST LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon yet? *BOOLIO* Buy this set on Amazon (Affiliate Link) - amzn.to/35kBpgr
Han dies - Lando be like Oh no...so anyway it's free real estate on the Millennium falcon Right, Right my old buddy, my old pal Chewbacca sad wookie noises I'll take that as a Yes wish they did more with the character in ROS. Jokes aside We all need to remember Han originally got it from Lando who got it from someone else soooooooooooooooo...
Despite it being the Episode 9 version this is easily the best Falcon for not having any gaps. The minifigures fit Episode 9 but we need a design like this with the Episode 4 cast.
@@MarioMario_1981 Yeah you could do it yourself. That's true. But eventually they'll release a new Falcon and I bet it'll be extremely similar to this one but with some Original Trilogy characters.
Its not a 45° angle on the new one, you can measure by the studs. The new one goes over one stud for every two studs it travels, which makes it a 22.5 ° angle. The older falcon goes over one stud for every three studs, which makes it a 15° angle. I agree the new one looks phenomenal!
They've sort of been forced to improve the design, else it would have essentially been a straight re-release of the 2015 Falcon, with some different figures. I think it looks great.
15:34 right when you said that I paused the video and went and moved the legs on my set. I moved them three studs forward. It was very tricky and I had to rebuild some parts of the set, but when I was finished it had made a HUGE difference. Now when I press on the cockpit it falls off and the ship doesn't tilt a bit! Really nice!
The fact that LEGO fixed the gaps in this years version really makes me wonder if LEGO held off on releasing this technique as there’s no way they didn’t have this design/technique back just a year ago for the Solo version which makes sense in terms of business as they don’t want to give Solo’s version the better technique and build as they would want to basically sell as much as they can with the older version and save this new improved version for the bigger film which in this case is ROS. That’s pretty messed up for collectors as we would have loved to have this no gap design for the Solo version too.
Even we hardcore _Star Wars_ fans don't know why Lando's blaster looks like that. We'll have to wait for the film's visual dictionary. That said, I like the idea that Lando stylised his to look like Chewbacca's bowcaster. 3:48 You are absolutely wrong! The funniest name in _Star Wars_ is either *Ima-Gun Di* _(a Jedi Master who was introduced and killed in a single episode of_ Star Wars The Clone Wars, _whose fate was spoiled by his own name)_ or *Elan Sleazebaggano* _(the guy who tried to sell Obi-Wan death sticks on Coruscant)._
I hope LEGO remakes this set and all of the minifigures are from different movies. Minifigures such as: - Episode IV: Han Solo and Chewbacca, - Episode V: Lando Calrissian and Leia Organa, - Episode VI: Luke Skywalker, a Stormtrooper Commander - Others: C-3PO, R2-D2, and two Stormtroopers
@@connerhockey2540 I think he meant the variant of Lando is an updated version of the one from Solo, but that still makes A-Boi incorrect unless proven otherwise.
So glad I saw this video. You do a GREAT job. I'm getting this set since I can't justify the price for the UCS. I'll definitely move the forward landing gear more forward and I'll match those 4 colored rings on the mandibles since I don't like them being different colors.
The kitchen was added on the falcon in between return of the Jedi and the force awakens it was Leia ideas after she married Han. It was in the Star Wars cross section book.
Love your work. Recently built this set and came across a mod on rebrickable by Ron M. Absolutely awesome, and for only 373 more pieces makes this set all I ever hoped it would be. Keep up the great work with your reviews/news.
Didn't realise the angle of the front was changed and the cockpit recessed until you pointed it out - this is another two large changes that makes the shape of this much more accurate!
The thing i like about Star Wars sets, and especially this Millenium Falcon, that interior is big and its pretty open so teens/adults can put they re hands inside, not just kids.
The more I have been getting back into Legos, the more I am wanting this set. This and the Razor Crest both seem awesome, though I love the interior space you get with this. I have only been able to buy the Armored Marauder as my first and only Star Wars set which is cool because it holds a lot of figures. But I can dream of such sets like this.
Hey Mandr! I was checking out your channel, for things to get for my birthday. It’s is getting quite near. I don’t think I’ll ever change my mind after I saw this video.
Based on your comparison video I went with this one and I had a blast putting it together. I think the interior is pretty bland, but there's a lot of room to go nuts and create your own. In that regard I think this is the best official release of the Falcon lego did, because save for some flaws you can just start adding things and fill up that open space. The exterior is gorgeous as is, though I might extend the cockpit just a little bit. The angle of the corridor is good but the cockpit is a tad recessed compared to where I think it should be. The Continuous plates are very nice and I like how they angle upwards at the back. They are a bit wobbly and I had to fill up some of the gaps. Having done that everything sits down solidly even when you randomly press the plates. This was a fun exercise. My favourite thing is probably the renewed engine exhaust. I can't stand those blue pipes but this looks stunning. Lastly, I think it's unfortunate Chewie can't sit in the chair with the roof closed. All the mini's to do the "let the Wookie win" are there, and he has to sit on the floor 😅
looks good but they also made some things worse... The holes on the mandibles look really bad - they should be covered. The center turret sled is REALLY terrible compared to the Kessel Falcon. Also the interior feels really empty. They could have included some more furniture. The sticker hyperdrive is also straight-up worse than all the previous falcons. The engine part could need some more greebling.
Everyone: Yo, can we have a 501st Battle Pack? Lego Worker 1: I think they said *_Luke’s Landspeeder_* Lego Worker 2: Yes, they definitely want another *_Luke’s Landspeeder_*
