Sadly yea, I wish Lego would do a better send off to the microfighters, like remaking the original 6 with todays building techniques and updated mini figures, imagine how crazy fans would go for a turbo tank microfighter with a plane phase 2 clone.

When Microfighters first came out you actually only had to spend $3 more for a BP lol I agree but it was actually crazier if you’re using that lens.

I don’t think it’s the norm, I think Lego just wanted to include grogu in a micro fighter for some reason. Hopefully in 2024, they do the $20 battle pack, $15 minifig pack and $10 micro fighters like last year. I hope that this micro fighter is just a one off

Yes, I agree for $4 more. You could get a Battle pack. The only problem is all of the army builders out there. Keep buying up all the Battle packs. Just to get the figures. People like me can never find them in stock anywhere. I think lego needs to bring out just packs of figures. That way, army builders can do what they want and quit buying up all the different Battle packs.

@@noaholiver8055 I did it before I was paid too. Nearly a decade of it being a hobby throughout middle/high school during a time when it wasn't "normal" for kids over 12 to do anything with LEGO. Hundreds and hundreds of uploads. It was and still is that same drive.

100% agreed. That's the only way I'd think about getting this one at the outrageous price point.

ok 2 minifigs with over 80 pieces are worth 5 usd ya know i think that 600 dollars ucs at-at should be 50 dollars at BEST

I don't know. Maybe? Seems like a cynical take on it but hey, we do live in an ultra-capitalist country where money comes ahead of basically everything else so it's an understandable perspective at the very least. Certainly a $5 price bump for the Grogu microfig is just excessive and this probably won't be a microfighter I'll be buying anytime soon. That said personally I've really liked the microfighter concept and the only reason I haven't bought more is because the recent ones haven't been my cup of tea. But some of the older ones like the TIE Interceptor I would have loved to get while they were still on shelves. A minifig and a decent little micro ship build for around $10? Especially when they're on clearance for $5ish you get a decent little bit for your money. Price has usually been Lego's only real weak point on selling. Microfighters have seemed like maybe Lego's attempt to better into the lower end toy market just like with the polybags. I mean let's be honest here, a lot of younger kids are going to have trouble coming up with even the $10-$15ish a microfighter costs. And especially with tons of much more affordable toy options in the many rows of the toy section of Walmart it's just easy for Lego sets, even the smaller ones, to get lost because of the high price point. A kid could easy go buy 2-3 toy cars and still have money left over for another small toy or three, plus something still left over to get something from gumball vending machines on the way out.

IMO microfighters are the best way to get exclusive minifigures as seen on way tf more expensive sets per se

I hear you, back when I was growing up Lego star wars sets started at 6 dollars circa 1999-2002. All the sets I had as a young kid were under 10 dollars, I never got big stuff except on rare occasions
