I remember how the levels would be a smooth sailing at first, than me or my friend would hit one another on accident which would start the battle to the death. So many good memories with these games.

So fun fact for when you reach Episode III: There's a mission where you play as Yoda and Obi Wan when they go to the Jedi temple, at the start of the mission, you run into Clones that are disguised as Jedi. This comes from a deleted scene from Episode III were clone troopers do exactly that, they disguise themselves in Jedi robes in order to trick Jedi.

By manipulating the corporation he controls he is able to cause distrust for the current chancellor, leading to his removal, and palpatines swift appointment. Palpatine is the phantom menace mentioned in the title, and the film is when he gets his first real power over the galaxy, allowing him to orchestrate the clone war and downfall of the republic

I remember the two LEGO Star Wars Games. LEGO Star Wars: The Videogame (the prequel one) I enjoyed more, but I still loved LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.

On the new Lego Games, Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 has 300+ unlockable characters and can be 100%'d with a base game, all the DLC is just extra characters and levels based off of new movie releases, and it's only $15 more from the original $45 price tag. It's pretty swell.

Phantom Menace actually does a lot for the rest of the movies. Obviously it introduces the characters and establishes relationships. Big plot behind escaping Naboo was to get support from the Republic in which they decided not to help. That's when Padme, or rather her double, cast a vote of no confidence enabling Palpatine to takeover as Chancellor of the Republic.

I played this game as a kid and went through 3 discs, the first was scratched into oblivion, the second was split in half, and the third was lost in the move from Arizona to Texas. This was a huge part of my childhood! This game was so fun! Too bad I don’t have it anymore...

I played this game when I was younger without ever having watched Star Wars, and I didn’t understand why Jar-Jar was so unpopular because me and my brother would fight over who got to control his character because he had a super-jump that was fun to spam. I understand now.

Watching this brings back so many memories! My younger brother and I used to play this game so much!
